News, and the Final Part of "The Lady and Her Story"!

Hey everyone!!

This week we are in North Carolina, tomorrow we will be going to Alabama, and then on Wednesday, we will be back home in Missouri! The trip has been amazing, went all kinds of cool places and met many awesome people, made new friends, and had new experiences :) Thanks to everyone who has funded it and helped us along on this  journey! Without you it would have  been impossible!

And this week, I am posting the final part of "The Lady and Her Story". To those who have followed it while I have read it and read the posts, thank you so much!! I hope you enjoy this final piece :)

    4 hours later, the meeting was arranged and everything was prepared. The local Mexican federalies were hidden around the meeting place, and Dad, Sam, Nicki, Ben, and Hope were ready.
    Mrs. Willis seemed to stand alone in the rainforest, harmlessly waiting for her children.
    Sure enough, Jack and Rosy came walking up with Penella between them.
    Penella's blue eyes sparkled and a smile graced her face at the sight of her mother. Her chestnut colored hair was matted, and her dress torn in several places. There was blood on her dress and bruises on her skin, but she was beautiful to her mother.
    "Mom!" She cried.
    Mrs. Willis began to have tears in her eyes. "Dear Penella...Rosy, Jack. I've missed you all..."
    "Yeah, Mom, hand over the papers." Jack demanded, rolling his eyes.
    Mrs. Willis slid one from her hand and handed it over. "I will give the rest once you let Penella go." She stated firmly, straightening up.

News & "the Lady and Her Story" Part 13!

Hey everyone!!

We're currently in Washington DC, had a pretty full week... we went to New York City and it was incredible! I walked next to the Empire State Building and rode in a train, NYC subway, and a taxi! :) It was great :) we also went to New Jersey and Delaware, and PA. Everywhere we went we met people and had fun :) A very good week indeed!

And now for Part 13 of the Lady and her Story :) Enjoy!

    That night, a very tired family went to bed with Mrs. Willis. Everything was packed, and they had plenty of supplies for the hike the next day.
    It was sure to be exciting.

The Lady and Her Story Part 11!

     The next morning arrived, and the Hunts sang and had a bible study together as a family, then met with Mom and Dad's decision.
    "Caitlen," Dad said
    "Yes?"
    "I want you, Sam, Captain, and Nicki to go on the four wheeler today to Mrs. Willis' home. Ben, you go along too. I am going to follow close behind."
    They all nodded.

    A few hours later, the little group was on their way to Mrs. Willis' home. Sam was driving the four-wheeler with Nicki, Caitlen, and Ben in the back, and Dad was walking a distance behind, Captain at his side. They soon arrived and Caitlen ran to Mrs. Willis home, and opened the door.
    Caitlen's face turned white. "Dad!!" She screamed.

The Lady and Her Story Part 8!

Sorry I didn't get this up sooner!! I was mixed up... but here's part 8 :)

     Nicki sat at her computer on Tuesday evening in the office, looking at anything she could find. She had searched every night, but nothing looked familiar.
    She clicked on one link.
    Nothing.
    Another link..
    Nothing.
    She sighed. It had been the same thing for a week already!
    She glanced at the clock. It was 11pm.
    I need to go to bed...

News and "The Lady and Her Story, Part 6!"

Shabbat Shalom, everyone!

What is in the package indeed! You'll find out in just a moment, but here's what's been going on!

The trip has begun! We're in Warm Springs, Georgia right now, and it is most definitely warm! It was nearly a hundred degrees here yesterday.  Swimming is definitely on the list for this week!! They have a pool at the campground, which is awesome :) I mainly slept on the drive down here, though I also talked to a friend on the phone and did some writing :) 

Mom and Leanna are doing well back home. I hope it's cooler there.  Love you guys!!
