Love in Leadership

Last week went well, but this week was okay. Yesterday, Kolayah found Rainbow, one of my cats, by the chimney. He was meowing, and it seemed he was in pain, so Dad and I took him to the vet. The doctor said he might have a deadly parasite, or rabies. Well, he gave me the medication for the parasite, and we took him home. A few hours later, I watched him, and he was having more signs of rabies, so I prayed that if he had rabies, that Yahweh would take him. Well, Yahweh took him. I really miss Rainbow, but I'm glad he's not in pain anymore, and I'll see him again. :)

Sabbath has gone well so far. I'm looking forward to the feast, as I'm sure many others are :) I wonder how people could call the feasts and Sabbaths a burden. They're such a blessing.

I've been thinking alot about this world, and all the sadness and all thats in it. Sadly, it's because of mankind's sin this world is in the state it's in. Yahweh never meant for the world to be this way. He created a earth of perfection--but because of what Adam and Eve did in the garden, mankind has ruined His perfect world.

We shouldn't get depressed, and down because of what we did, though. Though I think we should definitely be sorry for our sin, I feel we should recognize Yahweh still cares for us as he did in the garden. That's why He sent His only son--Yahushua--to take the penalty, to bear our sin, to take the punishment we deserved. Showing his love toward us by dying for us, Yahushua offered even more--forgiveness of all the wrongs we've done.

As I was reading my bible the other day, I was suddenly struck (I was reading in Ezra) at how a leader, is a servant! I mean, in Ezra, it says several times, "requested of the king", or "asked of the king", I mean, man thinks the highest place is to be a king. But the best kings were the ones that served their people the most, and watched over their people with care and love.

I was also re-watching an excellent documentary this week, called A Journey Home (from www.hayovel.com). It's about a father who took drastic measures to change his life to be with his family. It just confirmed what I was thinking. A father is what--a leader. A leader of the home. But what is he supposed to do? Serve. Serving by leading. And what are the best fathers? The fathers that serve their families, and watch over their families with care and love. And children who have a good home, where the father serves by leading, and the mother follows in submission, while serving her children by leading them in righteousness, are beautiful, excellent children.

And then, I thought about Yahweh. He is the leader of everything that does and has ever existed. What do we do when we pray? We usually ask for something, right? And he lovingly answers! Of course, he may take his time, but he serves us, showing the perfect example of a serving leader. A leader who serves his people lovingly, and truely cares for those he's responsible for.

Jeremiah 31:3 Yahweh has appeared of old to me, saying: 'Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you.'

John 3:16 For Elohim so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

This is from Yahushua: John 6:37 All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out.

Back Home!

We're back at the home place. I miss all my family and friends back in Ohio; hopefully we can see them all again before too long!

The trip home was tiring, yet fun. We stopped in Louisville, Kentucky the first night, falling in bed we were so tired. And then the next day, Dad and Mom were too tired to drive, so we stopped at Day's Inn in Sikeston, Missouri around 3:15pm. Finally, we headed for home yesterday around 10am. Arrived home around 1-2pm. I'm so glad it's Sabbath!!

Well, we went to the Creation Museum run by Answers in Genesis, (more information at either creationmuseum.org or answersingenesis.org) on Wednesday. We needed a whole day--maybe two!--to see everything, and only had 4 hours!! What we saw was absolutely awesome, though! Dad bought Kolayah and I a t-shirt each. They're black with white lettering, that show a skeleton of a triceratops dinosaur on the front, with "CREATION MUSEUM" below it. Below that, it says, "Prepare to believe.", the museum's motto. On the back, it says, "Open May 2007" then below that, "I went and I believe." Finally, below that it says, "creationmuseum.org". :) I picked that because I want to advertise creation, and the fact that Yahweh did create the heaven in the earth in six 24 hour days, that we do have a young earth--only 6,000 years old. That the Bible's account in Genesis can be taken for truth, can be taken literally. Because when you reject one book, one chapter, one verse--you end in rejecting it all.

Reminds me of what my dad said about people who reject Paul. "First they reject Paul, and then they have to reject Luke, because he supported and spoke of Paul, then they reject Peter, because he spoke of and supported Paul, till they wind down to rejecting the Messiah Himself,"

Deuteronomy 4:2 says, 'Do not add to the Word which I command you, and do not take away from it, so as to guard the commands of Yahweh your Elohim which I am commanding you.'

Adding Millions of years, the gap theory, and a whole bunch of other things to make evolution fit in the Bible is none other than adding to, and taking away, in my opinion.

The Bible can be trusted. There is alot of evidence to support the Scriptures as authentic and authoritative. I've talked about alot of it before :)

Well, I need to go. By the way, one of my cats, Princess, has alot of the signs and symptoms of Feline Lukemia. Could you all please pray for her? Thank you.
