EliYah’s message:

We are really blessed in our nation and in our age today with the availability of information. If you can think back, even go five hundred years ago, in order for someone to grab a copy of the Scriptures they had to be hand written. They didn't have printing presses, copiers and printers, these kinds of things.

It wasn't long after the printing press was invented that they printed the Bibles, thanks to the martyrdom of some who were faithful in trying to get that done for us. And with that, a tremendous growth in the knowledge of Elohim kind of went along with it.

So, we had Protestant Denominationalism, Protestant Christianity, that came out of Catholicism after they realized that the Catholic Church was not teaching things that were according to the Scriptures. They had the motto of "Sola Scriptura" (Scripture Alone), but they had a limit to what they were comfortable with.

There was still a lot of anti-Semitism, and with anti-Semitism comes a bias against anything that may look Jewish. If you look too much like a Jew, then somehow you are denying the Messiah. So, there was a meeting of the minds where the Catholic Church was actually considering adopting the Sola Scriptura and it came down to the Sabbath.

And the Catholic Church, one of the Bishops, or someone, spoke up and said, "You know, what Protestants are teaching, Sola Scriptura, they don't follow themselves because they go by the Sunday worship for which they can only thank the Catholic Church for. They can't find that in the Bible. They changed to the first day of the week."

With that argument, the Council ended and didn't change anybody's heart in Protestantism. It wasn't until various denominations began to break away-- finding new things in Scripture, developing new denominations-- the Sabbath was discovered and now the Feast Days.

I'm looking here at the grand scheme of time that knowledge has increased. It used to be, if you wanted to get the Word out about something that you found that was in the Scriptures, you had to have a lot of money to print out all the pamphlets and to pay people, or help house and feed people, who were going to go out and disseminate the information.

But now with the internet, five-dollar websites (sometimes even free blogs and things anybody can make), it's kind of leveled things out to where those who are in power, those with the money, are not necessarily any more likely to be found on web searches than some crazy wacko in the middle of Southern Missouri. I'm sorry. I've been called that before.

Seriously, anyone can build a website and get the information out there. So now we have an even-Steven playing field from which we can discover and find biblical truth. So that is being used similar to how the printing press was used to share biblical information.

And so, we have in our generation a tremendous amount of people who are coming to understand the blessing of Yahweh's Torah and calling upon His name. Whereas when I first started believing this way in 1989/1990 there were not very many of us. But now that the information is able to get out there, we have people who are making the choice.

So, I kind of want to preface that as part of my study today because we have a tremendous amount of knowledge that is available to us.

So, in light of the Feast of Trumpets, we are going to look at some things here. We know we are in a time where it is written in the Book of Daniel that knowledge would be increased. There was an opportunity for this one other time. In Genesis chapter 11 we read:

Genesis 11:4 - And they said, "Come, let us build ourselves a city, and a tower whose top [is] in the heavens; let us make a name for ourselves, lest we be scattered abroad over the face of the whole earth."

5 - But YAHWEH came down to see the city and the tower which the sons of men had built.

It goes on to say:

Genesis 11:6 - And YAHWEH said, "Indeed the people [are] one and they all have one language, and this is what they begin to do; now nothing that they propose to do will be withheld from them.

He was concerned about that. He was concerned about the pride of men and technology advancing much too quickly. He had to put a limit on man, and the limit was language.

So, whatever technology one particular language group would develop, they would not be able to easily communicate that to another language group to continue that technology because they would typically come in, that kingdom would fall, they would be destroyed, and some other language would come in.

But now, really, the language barrier has been broken. Nations can share information, and the ability to record the information that we have now, through electronic form, which is even a more powerful tool than the written page. We can share information instantly with anyone, anywhere, with internet connection.

At any place on the globe information can be shared.

And so, what we have today, brothers, is basically the very thing which Yahweh did not want. It is happening today. The very thing He was trying to avoid we are experiencing today, where man is landing equipment on Mars and taking measurements.

And we know from Scripture that the days are coming when there will be a "One World" everything run by the Beast, the enemy and his cohorts. That is something that we need to be prepared for.

I don't necessarily mean a physical preparation, although that is wise, but the main thing (and this is what I have been sharing last week and this week) is a spiritual preparedness. What do we need to prepare?

You know, about twelve years ago Y2K was a big thing. Everybody was afraid. So they went out and thought they would go hide in the woods or under a rock somewhere. And if nobody else knew they existed, that would be even better. But they stored up their food and tried to live a self-sufficient life.

I think it is good to be prepared and not having to rely on a grocery store. That's probably wise, but you know, a similar thing is happening today. I mean, in my neck of the woods the real estate market is booming because people are wanting to get out. In the county I live in there is one traffic light and one high school and one town.

People want to get out into the woods and get ready for whatever they think is going to happen. Then on the same token there is another group, primarily found in Christian churches, that are teaching this "prosperity doctrine"-- if you are living right, then you are going to be prosperous.

"If you belong to our church, you are going to be prosperous." Basically, it means you are going to be rich. And all kinds of people are falling for this thing. The idea of our life in Messiah has to be a very comforting, a very "at ease" kind of life, a real comfortable and wealthy lifestyle, is foreign to Scripture.

It flies in the face of verses like:

1Peter 4:1 - Therefore, since Messiah suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves also with the same mind, for he who has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin,

1Peter 2:21 - For to this you were called, because Messiah also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that you should follow His steps:

Contrary to this, there is this idea out there today that Yahushua would never allow you to go through anything that would cause pain. "He is just so loving. You will never have any kind of pain. It will always be the easy life." That is so unbiblical because it associates this idea that if you suffer, He doesn't love you. And that is not true.

Yahweh loved His Son Yahushua, and yet He went through a whole lot of pain. And so, we need to escape that mindset. Some people associate with how much pain is in their life with how much they are loved by our Heavenly Father. That is not a good reliable 1:1 ratio.

We have to say, if we look in the Scriptures, there were a lot of very dedicated believers who suffered. And so, we need to get that out of our mind right away. If you think Yahushua was an exception, all you have to do is look at the lives of other men in the Book of Acts and how they suffered and the life of Paul.

We are called to this because Messiah also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that we would follow in His steps. That is the footsteps we are trying to trace. That doesn't mean we look for some way to suffer, but it does mean that we should be ready to suffer.

I shared last week about the need for us to be prepared, the need for us to watch, because Yahushua said:

Luke 21:34 - "But take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness, and cares of this life, and that Day come on you unexpectedly.

35 - "For it will come as a snare on all those who dwell on the face of the whole earth.

36 - "Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man."

Are we praying this? We need to. We need to pray this. And if you are not praying this, you need to start praying this. I don't believe that this fairy tale we are living in, this lie that we are living in, that "Oh, things are always going to be great and prosperous for us" is long term.

This is not long term. This is short term. While we are very blessed to live at this time, we need to be those who when we see the riches and the things of this life being glorified, that we don't let it have a hold on us. That can be very difficult.

Yahushua spoke of this danger of falling into a prosperity kind of mindset, this watered down Good News, this "I will never have to suffer because Yahweh loves me." This is only a lie that keeps us from being prepared. And we may fall into a snare.

So, He says, "Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass." There is something that we want to pray about that we will be able to escape.

I am not talking about a pre-tribulation rapture. I am talking about the Judgment that is coming upon Babylon, upon the earth, that Yahweh will protect us so that we will be able to escape while living here. He can still put His hand of protection on us. Just as He did Ancient Israel when He judged Egypt, He can also protect us.

So if we are prepared during this time of plenty, if we are getting our spiritual swords sharpened, if we are getting our spiritual arrows sharpened and we are using this time of plenty as it was in the days of Joseph (seven years of plenty to store up for the seven years of famine)...

If we are using this time of plenty to sharpen our swords, to understand the will of Elohim, then maybe He will not look at us and say, "They need some tribulation before they are really ready to serve me in all sincerity."

But if we are seeking to be counted worthy to escape by seeking the will of Elohim now, and if we are watchman and we are watching, therefore, and we are in prayer during this time realizing the temporariness of this world's riches, then we may be counted worthy to escape.

And so, we are watchmen. And one thing that watchmen do is sound the trumpet. They sound the trumpet about many different things about judgment. Here is one thing that we see in the days of Jeremiah, the prophet. There were men who were sounding the trumpet.

Jeremiah 6:16 - Thus says YAHWEH: "Stand in the ways and see, And ask for the old paths, where the good way [is], And walk in it; Then you will find rest for your souls. But they said, `We will not walk [in it].'

17 - Also, I set watchmen over you, [saying], `Listen to the sound of the trumpet!' But they said, `We will not listen.'

So, Yahweh has set watchman over the people telling them to listen for the sound of the trumpet. And the trumpet sound was a call-- a call to listen to the words of Elohim. But they refused to listen to the sound of the trumpet.

And so, I want to sound the trumpet today for any who will hear the trumpet call to seek wisdom. Seek wisdom! That is our trumpet call today. Seek the ancient paths. Seek wisdom, where the good way is. We don't want to have to hear the words from any, "We will not walk in it." We want to hear the words, "We will walk in it.

And we see, here, if we are willing to walk in the ancient paths, He says we will find rest for our souls. Rest. Very interesting because Yahushua made a similar statement to that.

He goes on to say:

Jeremiah 6:18 - Therefore hear, you nations, And know, O congregation, what [is] among them.

Who is He talking to here? To the whole world... Gentiles... The whole land... The whole earth.

Jeremiah 6:19 - Hear, O earth! Behold, I will certainly bring calamity on this people -- The fruit of their thoughts, Because they have not heeded My words, Nor My law, but rejected it.

Who? The people of Israel in those days.

This is Torah. We see, obviously, this ("My law") would be the Torah of Yahweh, right? I think most people would agree with that. And so, what is He calling them? He is calling them back to His Torah, which contains the old paths, which contains the good way, and then they will find rest for their souls.

But what about Messiah? Didn't He say something like that?

Matthew 11:28 - "Come to Me, all [you] who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

29 - "Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.

30 - "For My yoke [is] easy and My burden is light."

So which is it, brethren? Where can we find rest for our souls? Is it through the Messiah? or is it through the Torah?

Many will quote this latter Scripture in Matthew saying, "Well, it is Messiah that gives us rest for our souls, not the Law. The Law burdens us, and the Messiah gives us forgiveness for sins. He delivers us from the power of condemnation."

I agree. Yahushua delivers us from sins. He delivers us from the power of condemnation, and through that we can find rest for our weary souls. But look more closely at what He says here: "Take My yoke upon you." And do what? "Learn from Me."

So, there are two things that He is asking us to do: Take His yoke on us, which is grace, which is patience, which is the gentleness of Messiah, and also He says, "Learn from Me." Learn what? You will learn Torah from His mouth.

He will be a gentle Teacher. He will not condemn you. He will not burden you. He will not destroy you. He will bless you. He will instruct you.

There really is no conflict between Yahushua and what He offers us in rest for our souls and the words that we read here in Jeremiah chapter 6, where He says, "Ask for the old paths, the good way, and you will find rest for your souls." Then He says, "But they would not listen. They rejected My law."

What is Yahweh's Law? Pay close attention here. They rejected "My Law" is what He said (Jeremiah 6:19). Well, what does Yahushua offer us in the New Covenant?

Jeremiah 31:33 - "But this [is] the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says YAHWEH: I will put My law in their minds, and write it on their hearts; and I will be their Elohim, and they shall be My people.

If we are partakers of this New Covenant (this is also quoted in Hebrews chapter 8), we are a New Covenant congregation, and we are ministers of the New Covenant. Yahushua is the one who writes the Law of Yahweh in our minds, writes it on our hearts.

And so, when we look at what this old path is, it is what Jeremiah referred to in Jeremiah 31 and also in Jeremiah 6. The old paths. The good way. He says, "My Law."

The question for us is: Are we refusing to take Messiah's yoke upon us and learn from Him because we have a thought in our mind that Yahweh's Law is abolished? It is too old? Out with the old; in with the new? Is that our mindset?

The Law He is seeking to place in our hearts and in our minds-- the ancient wisdom, the ancient paths, the old paths-- are we rejecting that? He will teach us new things, too, because like Yahushua said in Matthew 13:52:

Matthew 13:52 - Then He said to them, "Therefore every scribe instructed concerning the kingdom of heaven is like a householder who brings out of his treasure [things] new and old."

So, Yahushua can teach us new things by His spirit, but He also calls us back to the ancient paths. We must seek things new and old. We don't seek the new to the neglect of the old. And we don't seek the old to the neglect of the new because the new has its very foundation in the old.

A major problem today is that many seek the new to the neglect of the old. They are not scribes instructed concerning the Kingdom.

Since they throw away the foundation upon which the new was built, they set aside two-thirds of Scripture, preferring instead to primarily focus on Paul's letters, which are only five percent of the Bible by volume of words. Paul's letters are only five percent of the Bible.

And when a disproportionate amount of attention and emphasis is placed on one part of the Bible and a neglect is borne concerning what the rest of Scripture teaches, it is very likely that we will become imbalanced.

Peter said:

2Peter 3:15 - and consider [that] the longsuffering of our Master [is] salvation -- as also our beloved brother Paul, according to the wisdom given to him, has written to you,

It is through Him (our Master) that we receive salvation.

2Peter 3:16 - as also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things, in which are some things hard to understand, which untaught and unstable [people] twist to their own destruction, as [they do] also the rest of the Scriptures.

So, Paul's letters were considered to be Scripture, even in his time period. His writings were Scripture according to Peter. Just like if I said, "Well, they killed Peter just like the rest of the brothers." By inference, I'm telling you Peter is a brother.

Well, people twist Paul's letters just like they do the rest of Scripture. That tells us that Paul's letters were considered to be Scripture. Scripture was not decided by the Catholic Church. New Testament Scripture was not decided by them. It was not decided by Athanasius or by Constantine. Obviously, here, it was decided by the Apostles.

And so, it is very easy, you can see here, for Peter said, in his time period, he found that there were some things Paul had written which were hard to understand, and in order to understand them you couldn't be untaught in the rest of Scripture.

You had to be taught in the rest of Scripture, and you couldn't be unstable, otherwise you may find yourselves twisting his letters.

Well, if it was easy, brothers, for Peter and others living in the first century to misunderstand Paul's letters, certainly it will be even easier for us to misunderstand, wouldn't you agree, especially considering that we have limited knowledge concerning the things that Paul was addressing in his letters to various congregations?

Many times he would bring something up "concerning what you have written to me" and we have to guess, based on one side of a phone conversation, basically, what it is that he is addressing.

But there are people who base doctrines and do away with the Ten Commandments or set aside things of the Old Testament, just based on a few words by Paul that they may not even understand exactly what he is talking about because he is talking to a specific group of people, and that is the way we are supposed to look at this.

And so, the misunderstanding of Paul's letters has lead to outright rejection of the ancient paths-- the wisdom that Yahweh gave in the Torah, the Prophets and the Writings, commonly called the Old Testament. But Yahweh views the rejection of His Law as the outright rejection of knowledge.

Yahweh views the rejection of Torah (the first five books of the Bible, called Torah) as outright rejection of knowledge and wisdom. Therefore, just as Peter warned that untaught people, unstable people, twist those writings to their own destruction, Yahweh tells us through the prophet Hosea the exact same thing.

Hosea 4:6 - My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being priest for Me; Because you have forgotten the law of your Elohim, I also will forget your children.

Whoa! You see, they rejected the Law, therefore they rejected knowledge. They rejected understanding and wisdom.

See, they already tried that once before. We should learn from their lesson that they rejected His Law, and therefore, they rejected knowledge. If we reject His Law, we are also rejecting knowledge.

And these were the priests! He says, "I also will reject you from being a priest for Me." You see, a priest is one who is supposed to communicate the commandments to the people-- the will of Elohim to the people. That is his job. And so, if he rejects the Law of Yahweh, then he doesn't deserve to be a priest.

And if WE reject the Law of Yahweh, we have no business being teachers of anything. Yahushua warned us likewise:

Matthew 5:19 - "Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches [them], he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

This is right after He said He didn't come to destroy the Law. It is one consistent message from Jeremiah to Hosea to Matthew to 2 Peter chapter 3. It is one consistent message: You reject My commandments, you reject My Torah, you reject My Law-- you are rejecting knowledge.

You are rejecting instruction concerning the Kingdom of Elohim, even if you break the least of these commandments and teach men so. We don't want to be least in the Kingdom. And we talked about that in previous broadcasts. We don't want to be least. We want to be great.

The least might not be who you think they are. The least might actually be those who are outside the city. They are present. They are there, but they are not in the right place. They are the least of the Kingdom.

Just as the Serpent became the least of the beasts and crawled on its belly, the least in the earthly kingdom will be the least in the heavenly Kingdom, those who follow the ways of the Serpent.

I am not saying these things to condemn anybody. I am only sharing what Scripture says: "Stand in the ways and see, and ask for the old paths, where the good way is, and walk in it. You will find rest for your souls." And He says, "I send them the trumpet, the watchman, and they don't listen."

You know, ancient Israel heard a trumpet call in Sinai. And the trumpet call gathered Israel for a specific purpose, a very important purpose.

Exodus 19:16 - Then it came to pass on the third day, in the morning, that there were thunderings and lightnings, and a thick cloud on the mountain; and the sound of the trumpet was very loud, so that all the people who [were] in the camp trembled.

17 - And Moses brought the people out of the camp to meet with Elohim, and they stood at the foot of the mountain.

See? The sound of the trumpet was a call to a meeting. This time you are going to meet with your Maker.

Exodus 19:18 - Now Mount Sinai [was] completely in smoke, because YAHWEH descended upon it in fire. Its smoke ascended like the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mountain quaked greatly.

19 - And when the blast of the trumpet sounded long and became louder and louder, Moses spoke, and Elohim answered him by voice.

20 - Then YAHWEH came down upon Mount Sinai, on the top of the mountain. And YAHWEH called Moses to the top of the mountain, and Moses went up.

You see, He sounded the trumpet because it was time to come and hear the Torah. It was time to come and hear the Law of Yahweh. And when Yahweh sent the watchmen to sound the trumpet in Jeremiah chapter 6, He was calling them to that same place to hear the Torah, to hear the Law of Yahweh.

It was time to hear His Law-- the way of love, the way of life, the way of wisdom. And do you know what? When Yahushua returns, there will be a Trumpet Call. And when He returns, the nations, all nations this time, after the Trumpet Call, will hear the Torah once again.

Isaiah 2:3 - Many people shall come and say, "Come, and let us go up to the mountain of YAHWEH, To the house of the Elohim of Jacob; He will teach us His ways, And we shall walk in His paths." For out of Zion shall go forth the law, And the word of YAHWEH from Jerusalem.

4 - He shall judge between the nations, And rebuke many people; They shall beat their swords into plowshares, And their spears into pruning hooks; Nation shall not lift up sword against nation, Neither shall they learn war anymore.

Out of Zion shall go forth what? The Law. The same Law. The Law that Isaiah knew of was the Torah. And so, when he is writing this it is exactly what he has in mind. It doesn't say some new improved law, some new and corrected law that is foreign to the Old Testament. The Word of Yahweh, the Law, will go forth.

And that is why we read Scriptures like Feast keeping and Sabbath keeping and gathering from one new moon to another and from one Sabbath to another, all flesh coming to worship before Yahweh.

And so, there is a trumpet call, brothers, going out today. In the midst of all the knowledge that is out there, there is a call for wisdom, for the people to ask for the old paths, for the good way, that they might walk in it.

It is one thing to hear the Word of Yahweh; it is another thing to walk in it. It is one thing to walk in the way of Yahweh during a time of difficulty and challenge concerning the earth and lack of prosperity, but it is another thing during times of plenty, during times of prosperity. Do we remember to seek wisdom?

Yahushua said, "Whoever seeks to save his life will lose it. Whoever loves his life will lose it." He says, "Whoever loses his life for My sake will save it."

Luke 9:24 - "For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will save it.

Matthew 10:38 - "And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me.

And so, we need to arm ourselves with the mind of the Messiah. We need to beware of deception because that is the other thing coming our way-- a lot of deception. Prosperity doctrines are just a part of that.

Today we have a lot of knowledge about a lot of different things. This can be helpful. The knowledge has enabled me to do a broadcast over the internet. That is all well and good if it is used correctly, if it is used for righteousness, but who will seek wisdom?

A lot of people seeking knowledge over a lot of things, but who will seek wisdom? That is the important question. Seeking His wisdom will give us far better information than any internet search for anything other than that could possibly bring us because Yahweh is the Elohim of knowledge.

1Samuel 2:2 - "No one is holy like YAHWEH, For [there is] none besides You, Nor [is there] any rock like our Elohim.

3 - "Talk no more so very proudly; Let no arrogance come from your mouth, For YAHWEH [is] the Elohim of knowledge; And by Him actions are weighed.

Knowledge puffs up, doesn't it?

So, if we are looking for wisdom, if we want to seek out wisdom, you can't even find wisdom coming out of an arrogant tongue. Not the right kind of wisdom. They might speak the right thing, but because it is not done in a spiritual manner, it is not really heavenly wisdom.

James 3:13 - Who [is] wise and understanding among you? Let him show by good conduct [that] his works [are done] in the meekness of wisdom.

Meekness of wisdom. So to have wisdom requires a certain level of meekness. By good conduct our works are done in the meekness of wisdom.

James 3:14 - But if you have bitter envy and self-seeking in your hearts, do not boast and lie against the truth.

15 - This wisdom does not descend from above, but [is] earthly, sensual, demonic.

It is earthly wisdom, sensual wisdom, demonic wisdom.

James 3:16 - For where envy and self-seeking [exist], confusion and every evil thing [are] there.

17 - But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy.

18 - Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.

And so, if we are listening for the voice of wisdom, we need to listen and hear whether or not we hear purity, whether we hear peaceableness, whether we hear gentleness, full of mercy, full of good fruits, no partiality, no hypocrisy, just the fruit of righteousness sown in peace.

So many times we think it is our own voice, the loudness of our voice, where the anger and the wrought of men is going to produce righteousness in the heart of another person. Maybe we think by yelling at our children, or us spouses yelling at eachother, we are going to impart wisdom. That is envy, self-seeking and confusion.

Our wisdom that comes from Yahweh, if we want that wisdom to go out to somebody else, it has to be sown in peace. Not through arguing and fighting. Not through strife and debate.

And so, how will we share Yahweh's wisdom? In love? With mercy? With gentleness? With peaceableness? If so, they will hear the Shepherd's voice when He says, "My yoke is easy. My burden is light."

I can't claim one hundred percent effectiveness in that area, so I am not trying to say I am above anybody else. But what I am saying is, if we hope to impart wisdom to our neighbors, to our friends, to our relatives, to our spouses, to our children, it must be sown in peace, even as we sound the shofar, because Yahweh's wisdom is without end.

Job 37:16 - Do you know how the clouds are balanced, Those wondrous works of Him who is perfect in knowledge?

Psalms 147:5 - Great [is] our Master, and mighty in power; His understanding [is] infinite.

There is no end to it. Think about that. It would be impossible for someone to exhaust Yahweh's wisdom. It is unfathomable to me that someone could have unending wisdom because I am finite. My brain has a certain capacity and it's finished, but not Yahweh. His understanding is unsearchable. It is infinite.

Isaiah 40:28 - Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting Elohim, YAHWEH, The Creator of the ends of the earth, Neither faints nor is weary. His understanding is unsearchable.

In other words, you would never find the end of it.

Paul writes:

Romans 11:33 - Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of Elohim! How unsearchable [are] His judgments and His ways past finding out!

And the psalmist says:

Psalms 139:1 - <> O YAHWEH, You have searched me and known [me].

2 - You know my sitting down and my rising up; You understand my thought afar off.

3 - You comprehend my path and my lying down, And are acquainted with all my ways.

Psalms 139:4 - For [there is] not a word on my tongue, [But] behold, O YAHWEH, You know it altogether.

You already know what I am going to say next.

Psalms 139:5 - You have hedged me behind and before, And laid Your hand upon me.

6 - [Such] knowledge [is] too wonderful for me; It is high, I cannot [attain] it.

There is no way you could exhaust His understanding. And so, brothers, if you are looking for information, if you are looking for wisdom, we need to go to the Elohim of knowledge-- the One who has unsearchable ends to His wisdom, whose wisdom is infinite.

And so, Yahweh reveals the deep and secret things, does He not? He is willing to share with us His wisdom, but we have to pursue it. We have to seek it diligently.

In Proverbs chapter 3, verse 13, it says:

Proverbs 3:13 - Happy [is] the man [who] finds wisdom, And the man [who] gains understanding;

14 - For her proceeds [are] better than the profits of silver, And her gain than fine gold.

So in the midst of the prosperity that various nations have, what is better than that? What is better than fine gold is to attain unto wisdom.

Proverbs 3:15 - She [is] more precious than rubies, And all the things you may desire cannot compare with her.

Wisdom is more precious than rubies.

Proverbs 3:16 - Length of days [is] in her right hand, In her left hand riches and honor.

That may not be physical riches.

Proverbs 3:17 - Her ways [are] ways of pleasantness, And all her paths [are] peace.

Peaceable fruit of righteousness.

Proverbs 3:18 - She [is] a tree of life to those who take hold of her, And happy [are all] who retain her.

19 - YAHWEH by wisdom founded the earth; By understanding He established the heavens;

So, long before there was ever a heavens or an earth, there was wisdom. Before Genesis 1:1 existed, where Elohim created the heavens and the earth, there was wisdom.

Proverbs 4:5 - Get wisdom! Get understanding! Do not forget, nor turn away from the words of my mouth.

6 - Do not forsake her, and she will preserve you; Love her, and she will keep you.

7 - Wisdom [is] the principal thing; [Therefore] get wisdom. And in all your getting, get understanding.

And so, we need to realize, brothers and sisters, our days are numbered here on the earth.

Psalms 90:12 - So teach [us] to number our days, That we may gain a heart of wisdom.

Let's spend those days applying our hearts to wisdom because there are many people today living as though life is going to go on forever, any prosperity is going to go on forever.

"Oh well, we are kind of concerned about our President, you know. The economy is not doing too well. We need to replace our President, maybe. Then we will get our riches back. Maybe there will be more hope for the future."

Forget all that. Our days here are numbered. Our time here is short. We need to apply our hearts to wisdom. Seek it out that we might understand how frail we are, that we might turn to Yahweh and fear Him, and let Him be our guide all the way into eternity. And if we refuse to seek wisdom:

Proverbs 1:20 - Wisdom calls aloud outside; She raises her voice in the open squares.

21 - She cries out in the chief concourses, At the openings of the gates in the city She speaks her words:

22 - "How long, you simple ones, will you love simplicity? For scorners delight in their scorning, And fools hate knowledge.

Proverbs 1:23 - Turn at my rebuke; Surely I will pour out my spirit on you; I will make my words known to you.

24 - Because I have called and you refused, I have stretched out my hand and no one regarded,

25 - Because you disdained all my counsel, And would have none of my rebuke,

Proverbs 1:26 - I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your terror comes,

27 - When your terror comes like a storm, And your destruction comes like a whirlwind, When distress and anguish come upon you.

A time of famine.

Proverbs 1:28 - "Then they will call on me, but I will not answer; They will seek me diligently, but they will not find me.

29 - Because they hated knowledge And did not choose the fear of YAHWEH,

30 - They would have none of my counsel [And] despised my every rebuke.

Sometimes, brethren, the window of opportunity to seek wisdom and to seek the fear of Elohim is limited. If we have the opportunity today, let's walk it out. Let's seek it out.

The people of Messiah's day wondered, "Where did this Man get all His wisdom? Where did He get these mighty works?"

Matthew 13:54 - And when He had come to His own country, He taught them in their synagogue, so that they were astonished and said, "Where did this [Man] get this wisdom and [these] mighty works?

They couldn't understand it... "Where did He get all that?"

Then, the brothers in the Book of Acts. Simple fishermen.

The Sanhedrin:

Acts 4:13 - Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated and untrained men, they marveled. And they realized that they had been with Yahushua.

I like that. Untrained, uneducated men speaking the wisdom of Yahweh. Anybody can find wisdom if they ask.

Proverbs 2:6 - For YAHWEH gives wisdom; From His mouth [come] knowledge and understanding;

7 - He stores up sound wisdom for the upright; [He is] a shield to those who walk uprightly;

He wants to give us His wisdom. And really, you don't have to sit and listen to a Bible study to hear wisdom. You can study yourself.

1John 2:27 - But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him.

The anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, just like anybody else. Yahweh uses men to teach, but we don't even really need that. What we really need is Yahweh's spirit.

And when the adversaries come against us, Yahushua said:

Luke 21:15 - "for I will give you a mouth and wisdom which all your adversaries will not be able to contradict or resist.

Because it comes from Him. It is exactly what happened in the Book of Acts chapter 6, verse 9:

Acts 6:9 - Then there arose some from what is called the Synagogue of the Freedmen (Cyrenians, Alexandrians, and those from Cilicia and Asia), disputing with Stephen.

10 - And they were not able to resist the wisdom and the Spirit by which he spoke.

So, they had to accuse him, didn't they?

Acts 6:11 - Then they secretly induced men to say, "We have heard him speak blasphemous words against Moses and Elohim."

See, Yahweh can put the wisdom in us in such a way that no one would be able to resist it. No one.

And so, what happened here with Stephen?

Acts 6:12 - And they stirred up the people, the elders, and the scribes; and they came upon [him], seized him, and brought [him] to the council.

13 - They also set up false witnesses who said, "This man does not cease to speak blasphemous words against this holy place and the law;

They were false witnesses.

Acts 6:14 - "for we have heard him say that this Yahushua of Nazareth will destroy this place and change the customs which Moses delivered to us."

Very interesting. They are false witnesses, right? Here is one of their false things that they said: He would change the customs, which Moshe gave.

So, if we agree with the false witnesses, what does that make us? See, if there were a change in the Torah, then these false witnesses would not have been false witnesses. They would have been true witnesses. If there was a change in the Torah, why is this being spoken? Why is this said here like this?

So, the Law of Yahweh (His wisdom, His teaching) never changes. His teaching is always the same. And whatever He brings in that is new it is going to be according to what He already said before.

And so, if we are challenged to seek wisdom, if we are challenged to desire it, can we really trust the leading of His Spirit? Yes, we can. But His wisdom, brothers and sisters, has to fall on fertile soil.

You can seek wisdom all day long, but if we don't have the soil for that Word to fall upon that is fertile, that is broken up and ready for planting, it is all for naught. And so, the first step that we need to take if we want wisdom is this: The fear of Yahweh.

Psalms 111:10 - The fear of YAHWEH [is] the beginning of wisdom; A good understanding have all those who do [His commandments]. His praise endures forever.

Proverbs 1:7 - The fear of YAHWEH [is] the beginning of knowledge, [But] fools despise wisdom and instruction.

Proverbs 9:10 - "The fear of YAHWEH [is] the beginning of wisdom, And the knowledge of the Holy One [is] understanding.

Job 28:28 - And to man He said, `Behold, the fear of YAHWEH, that [is] wisdom, And to depart from evil [is] understanding.'"

There it is. Fear Yahweh. Depart from evil. You have not yet gained understanding until you choose to walk in the wisdom that Yahweh provides.

And so, we apply our hearts to wisdom through the fear of Elohim, through departing from evil. If Yahweh reveals something to us, a gem from His Word, that might cause us to depart from some kind of evil and we refuse to depart from that evil, then our heart is not good soil for more wisdom to be placed. And so, we might not get the wisdom.

We need to apply and cause that wisdom to become understanding through our application of that Word. And when we ask for wisdom, He says:

James 1:5 - If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of Elohim, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.

6 - But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind.

7 - For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from YAHWEH;

James 1:8 - [he is] a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.

So we ask for wisdom, and Yahweh will give, as long as we ask in faith and as long as our heart is prepared in the fear of Elohim to receive that wisdom. And if we ask for that wisdom and we have that fear of Elohim and we turn toward keeping His commandments, then we will be granted that wisdom.

You know, perverse men are very common today. Perverse hearts are very common today. But Yahweh's wisdom can deliver us from deception. And that is a promise.

Proverbs 2:3 - Yes, if you cry out for discernment, [And] lift up your voice for understanding,

4 - If you seek her as silver, And search for her as [for] hidden treasures;

5 - Then you will understand the fear of YAHWEH, And find the knowledge of Elohim.

Proverbs 2:6 - For YAHWEH gives wisdom; From His mouth [come] knowledge and understanding;

7 - He stores up sound wisdom for the upright; [He is] a shield to those who walk uprightly;

8 - He guards the paths of justice, And preserves the way of His saints.

This is what we need, brothers, in the age to come. In the days to come we are going to need it.

Proverbs 2:9 - Then you will understand righteousness and justice, Equity [and] every good path.

10 - When wisdom enters your heart, And knowledge is pleasant to your soul,

11 - Discretion will preserve you; Understanding will keep you,

Proverbs 2:12 - To deliver you from the way of evil, From the man who speaks perverse things,

13 - From those who leave the paths of uprightness To walk in the ways of darkness;

14 - Who rejoice in doing evil, [And] delight in the perversity of the wicked;

Proverbs 2:15 - Whose ways [are] crooked, And [who are] devious in their paths;

So, if we are looking to be among those who are not deceived, we have to accept the wisdom of Yahweh and stay humble after we receive it. And that is one of the most important things.

Suppose Yahweh looked upon us with favor and imparted some kind of wisdom to us and we refused to walk in the meekness of wisdom toward others, we could find ourselves stunted in our spiritual growth. And that is what has happened to all of these denominations.

They found a little bit of truth somewhere, a little different than the next guy. They found this little bit of truth, and they take that little bit of truth... and they have this little piece of meat off the shoulder of the cow, and they think they have the whole thing. And they say, "Okay, we found the truth. Come to us. Come to our denomination."

They assume they have found all that was needed, and in that they set up their elders, their hierarchy, their denominations to keep things the way that they are to not change. And that is why they cannot grow.

Those who are in those groups may find themselves to be in a prison house, where you can't grow any more than whoever invented that denomination.

And so, if we think we know anything, let's stay humble, and realize if we think we know anything, we know nothing yet as we ought to know.

1Corinthians 8:2 - And if anyone thinks that he knows anything, he knows nothing yet as he ought to know.

3 - But if anyone loves Elohim, this one is known by Him.

And so, the key, while we might seek wisdom, the real key is not that you know everything, but that He knows you. And so, Scripture says:

Proverbs 3:7 - Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear YAHWEH and depart from evil.

8 - It will be health to your flesh, And strength to your bones.

Isaiah 5:21 - Woe to [those who are] wise in their own eyes, And prudent in their own sight!

The ones who are wise in their own conceit, their own pride.

Proverbs 26:12 - Do you see a man wise in his own eyes? [There is] more hope for a fool than for him.

Of all the things that the Proverbs write about the fool and what sorry condition the fool is in, the man who is wise in his own eyes is in worse condition.

Maybe the fool one day will turn away from his foolishness, but a man who is wise in his own eyes-- there is no hope. He can't receive any more wisdom. He is finished. He has arrived. He is already on the highest plane possible. And that is the danger of denominationalism.

They think that they have gone as high as they need to go. They have already got it. There is more hope for fools than for those who think they have arrived already.

Paul warned the churches about this:

Romans 11:13 - For I speak to you Gentiles; inasmuch as I am an apostle to the Gentiles, I magnify my ministry,

14 - if by any means I may provoke to jealousy [those who are] my flesh and save some of them.

15 - For if their being cast away [is] the reconciling of the world, what [will] their acceptance [be] but life from the dead?

That is the Jewish people. So, what he is saying here is, yes, he is going to magnify his ministry in hopes that he will provoke the Jews to jealousy and maybe save some of them.

And it was because they were cast away, and it was because they rejected the Messiah and that He was killed on the tree, that the whole world, actually, was able to find salvation because the good news of Yahushua would go out to all the world.

But what if the Jewish people were to accept the Messiah? That would be like life from the dead.

Romans 11:16 - For if the firstfruit [is] holy, the lump [is] also [holy]; and if the root [is] holy, so [are] the branches.

17 - And if some of the branches were broken off, and you, being a wild olive tree, were grafted in among them, and with them became a partaker of the root and fatness of the olive tree,

Among who? Among Israel.

He warns:

Romans 11:18 - do not boast against the branches. But if you do boast, [remember that] you do not support the root, but the root [supports] you.

This boasting against the branches has resulted in a rejection of Yahweh's wisdom. The Protestant Reformation Movement could not fathom that they would have anything to do with Hebrew roots, anything to do with Jewish people, because they were still, many of them, anti-Semitic.

Martin Luther was one of the worst. You don't have to look far in his writings to find his hatred for the Jews. And so, this anti-Semitism became this superiority complex against anything Jewish-- this boasting against the branches.

Romans 11:19 - You will say then, "Branches were broken off that I might be grafted in."

20 - Well [said]. Because of unbelief they were broken off, and you stand by faith. Do not be haughty, but fear.

He warned them. Don't be haughty. But fear because you could be broken off.

Romans 11:21 - For if Elohim did not spare the natural branches, He may not spare you either.

He warned the Gentiles against pride.

Romans 11:22 - Therefore consider the goodness and severity of Elohim: on those who fell, severity; but toward you, goodness, if you continue in [His] goodness. Otherwise you also will be cut off.

23 - And they also, if they do not continue in unbelief, will be grafted in, for Elohim is able to graft them in again.

Romans 11:24 - For if you were cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and were grafted contrary to nature into a cultivated olive tree, how much more will these, who [are] natural [branches], be grafted into their own olive tree?

The Jewish people.

So, then he warns them. He is constantly warning them about arrogance.

Romans 11:25 - For I do not desire, brethren, that you should be ignorant of this mystery, lest you should be wise in your own opinion, that blindness in part has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in.

Well, I think the fullness of the Gentiles is coming in, and Israel is having their eyes opened.

When I went to Israel a few years ago, I tried not to come to them with a bunch of arrogance. I came to them in peace as one who wants to keep Torah. They saw the tzitzits, you know, the tassels, hanging from my garment, and they realized I also believed in Torah and that Yahushua taught from the Torah and He was not against Torah.

And when they asked me questions, I was able to present Yahushua to them because I have chosen not to boast against the branches. I have chosen not to say, "Because it is Jewish, it is not for me." You see, brethren, for 2000 years the Jewish people have been presented with a Messiah who was, basically, in their mind, a rebellious son.

They have been presented with a Messiah who disobeyed Torah and taught His followers to delve into paganistic roots, rather than Hebraic roots-- born December 25th, the birthday of almost every sun deity in Roman history, died and raised on Easter Sunday. The very word "Easter" means "Astarte" (Ashtaroth, or the female goddess).

They have been presented with a Messiah who wears a toga and has a sun disc behind His head in honor of the sun. And so, they associate Him with idolatry.

When He is presented, though, as He actually was-- not this comely-looking, blue-eyed, Greek-like, solar god-- but the anointed of Yahweh who had no beauty that we should desire Him, who upheld the Torah and the original intent thereof, wearing the tzitziot commanded by Yahweh...

And the fact the lady who went to Him with the issue of blood, when she grabbed the corner of His robe, what she grabbed was the tzitziot (if you look it up in the Greek - kraspedon), and a Messiah who came not to do away or destroy the Law, but to teach from it and teach its original purpose...

One who is coming as a Ruler and a Judge, not claiming to be equal to or greater than Yahweh, but being Yahweh's Servant Himself, not Yahweh's replacement, with Yahweh being His Elohim that He also honors... when He is presented according to the way He truly was, all of a sudden they begin to give Him a second look.

The truth be told, brethren, both Christianity and Judaism need to find a Torah-keeping Savior. They both need the Torah-keeping, Torah-upholding Messiah. Both of them do.

You know what? When we come to understand Messiah did uphold Torah, we become bearers of that message. And you know what? If we understand this, then we need to be sounding the trumpet. We need to be sounding the trumpet. Not wise in our own eyes in an arrogant sort of way, but we need to sound the trumpet-- because the Law of Yahweh is our wisdom.

It is our wisdom. It is the source from which we get understanding. Paul understood this. He is talking to Timothy:

2Timothy 3:14 - But you must continue in the things which you have learned and been assured of, knowing from whom you have learned [them],

15 - and that from childhood you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Messiah Yahushua.

When Timothy was a child, was there the Book of Romans and 1 Corinthians? No, he was raised in Torah.

2Timothy 3:16 - All Scripture [is] given by inspiration of Elohim, and [is] profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness,

17 - that the man of Elohim may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.

He didn't say, "Some Scripture is. Some Scripture isn't." He said all Scripture. Why then when we bring up some Old Testament quote someone will say to us, "Well, that's just the Old Testament."

Is not all Scripture given by inspiration and profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness? Paul said so. Is the Torah our wisdom, also? Not just the New Testament. Is the Torah our wisdom, also?

We see, here, the Torah was able to make Timothy wise for salvation. And the Prophets, they teach about Messiah. The Feast Days in the Torah, they teach about Messiah. So, how about us? Like Timothy, do we consider the Torah to be our wisdom?

Yahweh says in Deuteronomy 4, verse 5:

Deuteronomy 4:5 - "Surely I have taught you statutes and judgments, just as YAHWEH my Elohim commanded me, that you should act according [to them] in the land which you go to possess.

This is Moshe speaking.

Deuteronomy 4:6 - "Therefore be careful to observe [them]; for this [is] your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the peoples who will hear all these statutes, and say, `Surely this great nation [is] a wise and understanding people.'

Can we say that? Brothers and sisters, is the Torah your wisdom? Is the Law of Yahweh your wisdom? Your obedience, your observation of Torah-- is that your wisdom? Is it your understanding?

Some of those who are wise in their own conceit think the wisdom of Yahweh has been abolished. Imagine that! Yahweh's wisdom being abolished? It doesn't make any sense. It can't be!

And to those who do not know, the word translated "law" in the Hebrew tongue is "torah," and it means "teaching" or "instruction." Imagine that. Yahweh's teaching being abolished. Nonsense!

Rather, we should say that Yahweh's instruction, His teaching and His knowledge are sweet unto the taste and more to be desired than gold.

Psalms 119:103 - How sweet are Your words to my taste, [Sweeter] than honey to my mouth!

104 - Through Your precepts I get understanding; Therefore I hate every false way.

Now, brothers, I don't mean to condemn anybody through what I am sharing today. What I do say is: If this convicts your heart and you say, "I don't care. I'm not going to listen to the sound of the trumpet. I'm not going to listen to the old ways, wherein is the good way," that is where you are walking a dangerous course.

Now, if you are confused about something that Paul said and it might make you think, "Well, I'm not really sure if I should try to apply Yahweh's Law to my life or not," okay. I'm not going to condemn that. But if you are convicted by the things I'm sharing, Yahweh have mercy on all of us.

I know we all lack wisdom in some areas, including me, because Yahweh's ways are unsearchable. They are infinite. But the truth is, brothers, we need to have a solid foundation or we may be among those who Peter spoke of-- the untaught.

Untaught about what? Untaught in the Torah and in the rest of Scripture. The rest of Scripture were untaught. And we find ourselves twisting his letters to our own destruction.

Some may say, "Oh, EliYah, you are the one twisting Paul's letters to say that we should keep the commandments and follow the laws." Pardon me, but where in Scripture does Yahweh ever say, "Depart from me you who keep my commandments; how dare you follow my laws; into the Lake of Fire you go, you commandment keepers"? He doesn't say that, does He?

We are not the ones twisting his writings to say, "We should obey Yahweh's voice." It is the ones who refuse to obey, the commandment breakers, who are the ones who are in trouble.

You may have thought, "Well, what about this verse in Paul's letters? What about that verse in Paul's letters?" After the broadcast today, ask me any question you want about anything written in Paul's letters, because if it was hard for them to understand in the first century, it may take a little studying for us to figure it out, too.

But I know one thing:

Psalms 19:7 - The law of YAHWEH [is] perfect, converting the soul; The testimony of YAHWEH [is] sure, making wise the simple;

You may wonder how the Law of Yahweh brings soul conversion. You may wonder how the Law of Yahweh is perfect. It was already perfect. Because you cannot even recognize the need for a Savior unless you first hear that you have been a sinner. And that is the role of what the Law does.

It tells us what right and wrong are and whether or not we need to repent. What that means is pretty much all of us need to repent.

Psalms 19:8 - The statutes of YAHWEH [are] right, rejoicing the heart; The commandment of YAHWEH [is] pure, enlightening the eyes;

9 - The fear of YAHWEH [is] clean, enduring forever; The judgments of YAHWEH [are] true [and] righteous altogether.

Psalms 19:10 - More to be desired [are they] than gold, Yea, than much fine gold; Sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.

More to be desired than the world's riches. Isn't that what Yahushua warned us about? Carousing. The cares of this life. Worldly pursuits. More to be desired than all of that are His commandments, His wisdom.

Better than anything that you could put in your mouth.

Psalms 19:11 - Moreover by them Your servant is warned, [And] in keeping them [there is] great reward.

I believe that. How about you? I don't believe that in keeping them there is a great Lake of Fire waiting for you because you twisted his letters. In keeping of them there IS great reward.

That is not to say that our Law keeping saves us. That is to say that once we have repented, we want to find out what His will is for our life. That is to say, what the Law of Yahweh teaches us is part of His will.

It is not all. Not just all the Old Testament. New Testament, too. What if the whole Book spoke one message in reality? What if that were true, the Book spoke one message, one consistent message from Genesis to Revelation? I am one hundred percent persuaded that it does.

And so, if we are seeking wisdom, if we are seeking understanding, let's be scribes like a householder who brings things out of our treasures both new and old. Let's stand in the ways and see, and ask for the old paths, where the good way is, and walk in it. Then we will find rest for our souls.

Let's listen to the sound of the trumpet, and not say, "We will not walk in it. We will not listen." We don't want to be that way. We don't want to be among those who have not heeded His words or His Law, but rejected it.

We want to hear the sound of the trumpet because when that Last Trumpet sounds, the Law of Yahweh is going to be the rule of the earth. Might as well get used to it.

So, we need to hear the sound of the trumpet. Many seek knowledge about many things, but few are willing to seek the wisdom that is found in His Torah.

It doesn't have to be that way. We can seek. We can hunger for, we can thirst after, the wisdom that comes from Elohim and every bit of His Word from Genesis to Revelation-- the wisdom that leads to eternal life.

But we have to remember, "To the Law and the testimony, if they don't speak according to this Word, there is no light in them." That is what the Scriptures teach.

And so, when the Jewish people see a Torah-breaking Savior, what do they think? Do they think He is going to have light in Him, a Savior that did away with the Law, when their own prophets say if it is not according to this Word, there is no light, no light there?

So, we are called to be men who are hearers and doers. Hearers and doers.

James 1:22 - But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.

When you hear the Word of the Torah, don't just say, "I don't have to do," say, "I want to do."

James 1:23 - For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror;

24 - for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was.

James 1:25 - But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues [in it], and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does.

The Law of Yahweh brings freedom as we walk in its precepts. And as we live and we learn, our path will get brighter. It is not an overnight process. You don't instantly know everything and follow everything.

Proverbs 4:18 - But the path of the just [is] like the shining sun, That shines ever brighter unto the perfect day.

19 - The way of the wicked [is] like darkness; They do not know what makes them stumble.

And so, who wants to be a wise man among us? If we are looking for wisdom, Yahushua says:

Matthew 7:24 - "Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock:

25 - "and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock.

And the rain, brothers, the same rain that destroys the wicked, will only feed the hearts of the righteous.

Matthew 7:26 - "But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand:

27 - "and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And great was its fall."

I smell a rain coming, brothers. How about you? The same rain washing away the houses of fools, who are wise in their own conceit, will fill the disciples with His Spirit. May Yahweh help us to be wise men who build our houses upon the Rock.

There is a war that we are supposed to be a part of. And there is a war on the horizon. We need to fill our minds with the wisdom of Yahweh. They may take the Bibles out of our hands during the years of drought, but they cannot take away what is stored in our hearts that we chose to fill ourselves with during the years of plenty.

And we are in a time of plenty now, but there is a drought coming. I am not trying to be a prophet, but I know what the Word of Yahweh says.

Amos 8:11 - "Behold, the days are coming," says the Master YAHWEH, "That I will send a famine on the land, Not a famine of bread, Nor a thirst for water, But of hearing the words of YAHWEH.

Spiritual preparation is what we need to focus on. As we gain wisdom, we will know how to wage a spiritual war. Let's take council together in His Word. Let's reject the influences of this age and not even desire to be with them or a part of them. Let's fill our minds so that we will be strong.

We will increase in strength. We will wage the war. We will overcome. And we will not let the ways of this world seduce us. We will not envy the wicked, but we will walk in wisdom. We will seek after the wisdom of Yahweh.

Ecclesiastes 12:12 - And further, my son, be admonished by these. Of making many books [there is] no end, and much study [is] wearisome to the flesh.

13 - Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear Elohim and keep His commandments, For this is man's all.

That is the bottom line right there.

Ecclesiastes 12:14 - For Elohim will bring every work into judgment, Including every secret thing, Whether good or evil.

I sound the trumpet today, brothers, in the spirit of the Feast of Trumpets, because we need to be ready at any time. I don't know when judgment will come. I don't know when difficult days will come. But I think all of us can see pretty clearly this is not going to last. People are in panic over the condition of the United States of America.

Europe is in panic over their Eurodollar. The currencies are failing, and people are in panic over this. This is a time when we really need to be seeking after the wisdom of Elohim.

And so, may Yahweh fill us with that wisdom as we seek it, to know His will, with the humility to know our limitations and the strength to walk out the wisdom that He gives.

Colossians 3:16 - Let the word of Messiah dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to YAHWEH.

17 - And whatever you do in word or deed, [do] all in the name of the Master Yahushua, giving thanks to Elohim the Father through Him.

It doesn't say "the Lord Jesus Christ" here. That is not even His name. Never was. Is not now. And never will be. He is the same yesterday, today and forever: Yahushua the Messiah.

And we want to let His Word dwell in us richly with all wisdom, the true riches. And when the word of Messiah dwells in us richly, then the promise of the New Covenant, where the Law of Yahweh is implanted in our hearts, becomes a reality, as the word of Messiah, the Law of Yahweh, is dwelling in us richly.

So the Trumpet Call, brothers, is here. I have sounded the trumpet to all who will hear today to seek the ancient paths, where the good way is, where we will find rest for our souls. This we will learn from the Messiah, a gentile Shepherd. We will learn the words of Messiah through listening to the Torah-- His Word.

He is the living Word. Not just New Testament. Old Testament, too. He is the living Word made flesh and dwelled among us. We will learn from His word in both New and Old Testament if we will only receive them and not reject His word.

But hear the sound of the trumpet and take warning because when that Last Trumpet sounds, we know out of Tzion will go forth that Law. And just as ancient Israel how it heard the sound of the trumpet prior to the Torah being given at Sinai, this world we live in will once again receive that wisdom of Yahweh it so desperately needs.

And so, let's seek to be filled with that wisdom now. Let's ask for it. Let's long for it. Let's not be satisfied for mere knowledge alone. For while we are living in a time where knowledge has increased, just like Daniel predicted, it is not going to satisfy.

Let's seek the place of rest for our weary souls. Seek to hear the Good Shepherd's voice-- the words of wisdom that will be as a shining light to our paths in this dark world. Let's be scribes who are willing to take things out of our treasures both new and old.

Let's be watchman who are willing to set aside carousing, drunkenness, cares of this life, things of this age, eat-drink-and-be-merry mindset and let's watch. Let's watch and let's pray because:

1Peter 1:24 - because "All flesh [is] as grass, And all the glory of man as the flower of the grass. The grass withers, And its flower falls away,

25 - But the word of YAHWEH endures forever." Now this is the word which by the gospel was preached to you.

If we have filled our minds and our hearts with this Word of Yahweh, we will also abide forever.

1John 2:17 - And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of Elohim abides forever.

To know His Word, to know His will, we must first ask for the ancient paths. May Yahweh grant us those ancient paths where the good way is.

And as we ask for it, may Yahweh bless you, and may Yahweh have mercy on us all.
