Feast of Trumpets! (2017) - Study

We are ready to begin our study portion for today's broadcast. You know I think about this, most people when they celebrate a holiday, they celebrate something that has already happened, July 4th, Declaration of Independence. Something in the past, something that they can look back with fondness and remember it. But when you start keeping the Festivals that Yahweh has given, at least one of them. Well, there is a picture of this going on the past. It's actually a celebration of a future event, something that's going to happen. And we are waiting for it to happen. It's so awesome we get to celebrate it at a time and that is the Feast of Trumpets. We gonna today talk about this Feast because it's a Feast that is picturing and speaking of the second
coming of the Messiah Yahushua who will be the
Savior and King of the whole world. The Anointed One, the King, all nations will bow to him, who is exalted very high, and lifted up
after very humble beginnings.
Being born in the sheep stall but the Feast of Trumpets is a time to remember something that Yahweh has promised us in the future. The savior's return at the last Trump, scripture says
behold I tell you a mystery 1 Corinthians
15:51 We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. Here it is, for the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be finally changed. I've already been changed but nothing like this,
this promise (We shall be all changed) where the
corruptible puts in incorruptible at the Last Trumpet we shall be looking forward to that change when the former things will pass away. The corruptible body will pass away, the incorruptible will be put on, he will make all things new, beautiful.
So we are looking forward to this time, the Feast of
Trumpets coming up here two and half weeks or so, will give you the exact date as we go forward through this study. But you know there is nothing in the Torah that says this is to remember that, although there is
something that does commemorate which we will
get into. He just says "take this day, the first day of the seventh month and go around blowing trumpets". It doesn't really tell me exactly why, is it just a memorial of blowing trumpets? And so he says Leviticus 23:24 Speak to the children of Israel, saying, In the seventh month, on the first day of the month, you shall have a Sabbath (rest), a memorial of blowing of trumpets, a holy convocation.
Okay, so when this day comes they just start
blowing trumpets, shofars.
Numbers 29 verse 1 seventh month, on the first day of
the month, you shall have a holy convocation; you shall do no customary work: for you, it is a day of blowing the trumpets. So don't go to work, stay home and blow trumpets. You have to just try and picture Israel here. I get just stay home, blow trumpets all day, why? No explanation was given, that's a memorial but you see it's observed as a holiday, it says do no customary work. The world we live in has Holidays and Yahweh has his holidays, this is one out of seven holidays mentioned in the bible. First one is the day after Passover, the Festival of Unleavened Bread, The Final day of Unleavened Bread, it's the second one. The day of Pentecost is the third and this one is the fourth. And then we have The Day of Atonement then we have The First day of Unleavened Bread and then we have The Last Great Day of the Feast. But we see it's observed as the Sabbath, the Hebrew name for this day is Yom Teruah, not Yum Teruah, but YOM Teruah. Yom in Hebrew means see. I once talked to a gentleman in Israel, an American guy he gave up speaking Hebrew because he could never do it right. He tried to say Yom Tov, which he thought meant good day but they said good see, what are you talking about? It should be Yom Teruah, Teruah means alarm or sounding or maybe shouting. We open the broadcast today with the sound of the trumpet now the definition of Teruah if you look it up in the scriptures, it just means alarms signal, sound of tempest, shout of the blast. But we will get to that in a minute, there are two very special trumpets that were actually made as part of the Temple Service. Numbers chapter 10 verse 1 And Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying, make two silver trumpets for yourself; you shall make them of hammered work: you shall use them for the calling the congregation, and for directing the movement of the camps. When blown both of them, all the congregation shall gather before you at the door of the door of the Tabernacle of meeting. So this is a set of trumpets they will use to call people to gather. At that last trump, we are going to gather, just as they gathered and we are going to join with Yahweh, and meet with him, and Tabernacle with him. Verse 4 But if they blow only one, then the leaders, the heads of the divisions of Israel, shall gather to you. When you sound the advance, the camps that lie on the east side shall then begin their journey. That's interesting there's the blowing of one trumpet and then there is the blowing of an advance or the Hebrew reads Teruah (alarm).
And so there is a difference one trumpet,
the princes which are the heads of the thousands of Israel shall gather themselves. If you blow an alarm then the camps that lie on the east part go forward. So there are two different kinds of sounds mentioned and I find that very interesting.
So what are the two sounds?
Well it just so happens I've got a shofar in my hand and that's not made of silver but Yahweh made it for us nonetheless when he made the rum. So we will have to use these to make different sounds. Now I'm not the expert shofar player but I thought as I do on a regular basis here on the broadcast of EliYah.com showing the difference between those single trumpet sound and the blowing of an alarm. Now just so you understand, I may not do this right but I will give it my best. Here is the single blast (playing sound), so there's the single blast. And then there's the alarm which is a series of short blasts and I'm speaking here not because we have a recording of what they did back in those days but the Jews who have been keeping these things for a long time. This is how they understand the differences, so here's the alarm and it sounds kinda of alarming so it makes sense. It is a series of seven short blasts and here we go (playing sound). I'm sorry that was nine, I will try again it should be seven (playing sound). So there we go seven short blasts, I did make the final one a little bit longer just to sound it better. But that's the alarm sound when we are talking about the Teruah, talking about the alarm there's a difference. Teruah, so when the Messiah returns it may not be this long drawn out trumpet blasts. You may be just you know kinda of hanging out with your friends of Messiah and all of a sudden you hear (playing sound). What was that? That was the Teruah, that was the alarm. We're gonna move. So whatever it is whether it's a long blast or short blast Yom Teruah is what it's called. So I tend to think it's gonna be perhaps an alarm to gather and then a... I'm sorry a long blast to gather and then a series of short blasts to advance. HalleluYah, we're gonna advance with him and we are going to gather with him, we gonna go forth conquering, praise Yahweh and so let's continue reading about this. It says when you sound the Teruah or the advance, the second time the camps that lie in the south side shall begin their journey, they shall sound the call for them to begin their journeys. And when their assembly is to be gathered together you shall blow but not sound the advance. The sons of Aaron, the priests, shall blow with the trumpets and they shall be to you as an ordinance for ever throughout your generations. Throughout your generations, I think there are still generations out there somewhere. And when you go to war in your land against the enemy who oppresses you, then you shall sound an alarm with the trumpets; and you will be remembered before Yahweh your Elohim, and you will be saved from your enemies. Now think about that for a minute, last I checked we
are all at war right?

Nobody is not at war, there's a war going on for
your soul, there's a war going on in your mind, the
enemy wants to lead you in one direction and Yahweh
wants to lead you a different direction. And so if the enemy seems to be having a little success or is trying to attack you. Have you ever thought about this? Maybe let's get you a Shofar and sound the alarm and we will be remembered before Yahweh our Mighty one we will be safe from our enemies. Just don't act out there, I'm not making a doctrine out of it, but, you know the ram's horn, it comes from a sheep. But these are silver trumpets. But, a ram's horn comes from a sheep and you can use those or some people make the horns out of kudu. At the Feast of Tabernacles this year and every year, we make this available for people to get a free Shofar if they can't afford one and we teach you how to drill it. Drill the mouthpiece and sand it down and then you have your own personal Shofar. And, that's one of the neat things we do at the Feast of Tabernacles every year, coming up very soon October 5th to the 15th. So or you can just bring your own Shofars and I tell you after we do the Shofars the camp is noisier and becomes more of a jubilant atmosphere, we are trying to really appreciate. So anyway he says in the day of your gladness, you just really happy today so you just go out and blow Shofar, and your appointed feasts and at beginning of your months (in this case it will be the seventh month), you shall blow the trumpets over your burnt offerings, over the sacrifices of your peace offerings. They shall be a memorial for you before your Elohim: I am the Yahweh your Elohim. And so those are regular sounds they would hear, at the Temple or the Tabernacle it was normal for them to hear this Shofar blasts on a regular basis. Now I believe certainly that this Feast of Yom Teruah is a symbolic thing representing the Messiah's return and gathering us together and you know the
word translated trumpets or Feast of Trumpets or
Yom Teruah. The words trumpet can mean also a shout depending on context. And it just so happens 1 Thessalonians 4:16 the Master himself Yahushua will descend from heaven with a shout (a Teruah), with the voice of the
archangel, with a trumpet of Elohim: and the dead in
Messiah will rise first. And then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Master in the air: and thus we should always be with the Master. Therefore comfort one another with these words. Beautiful. So this word trumpet, the word shout actually have
equal relation with each other.
Leviticus 23:24 Speak to the children of Israel, saying, In the seventh month, on the first day of the month, you shall have a Sabbath rest, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, a holy convocation.
And the word translated trumpets Teruah, alarm,

signal, sound of a tempest according to the Lexicon
here and a shout. A shout or blast of war or alarm or joy, alarm of war, battle cry, war cry, blasts, shout of joy. And you see hear it's actually translated shout more frequently than it's translated alarm or any other word. So alarm or trumpet blowing lets give a shout of praise. Now the shouting that might remind you of another story coming from the scriptures. Joshua 6 verses 1-3 Now Jericho was securely shut up because of the children of Israel: none went out, and none came in. And Yahweh said to Joshua, See, I have given Jericho into your hand, its king, and the mighty men of valor. You shall march around the city, all you men of war, you should go around all round the city once. This you shall do six days. And the seven priests shall bear seven trumpets of rams' horns before the ark: but the seventh day you shall march the city seven times, and the priests shall blow the trumpets. Here we go it shall come to pass, when they make a long blast with the ram's horn, and when you hear the sound of the trumpet, that all the people shall shout with a great shout; and the wall of the city will fall down flat, and the people shall go up every man straight before him.
There we go, Teruah is the word, as the trumpet blows
and there's a shout. Jericho the very first city that was taken by ancient Israel becomes exposed and what happens you know the story, came to pass on the seventh day they rose early about the dawning of the day, marched around the city seven times in the same manner on that day only they marched around the city seven times. And the seventh time it happened when the priests blew the trumpets, that Joshua said to the people shout for Yahweh has given you a city Teruah, striking parallel, you know. Think about it when Yahushua, Joshua invades Israel against the city of Jericho and tells them to shout. Maybe you don't know this, "Yeriycho" the word translated Jericho actually means "it's moon." That's what the word means, the city Jericho is rooted in the Hebrew word for moon which is Yareach and so when Moshe lead the children of Israel out of Egypt into the wilderness he spent a lot of time teaching the people the Torah. But we know that Moses himself was not allowed to enter the Promised Land. Two men were permitted to enter the Promised Land Joshua and Caleb, interestingly the Hebrew meaning of the word Caleb is Dog and dog was a common kind of a derogatory name for gentiles. Israel will call them dogs but Caleb was actually an Israelite from the tribe of Judah and he was a righteous man. Now Joshua was from the tribe of Ephraim and his name as some of you may know is actually the same name as the Messiah's name. Joshua in Hebrew is actually pronounced Yahushua and it's from that word that the name Jesus was somehow produced. Long story on that one but, now Yahweh as we know, likes to teach us through object lessons, in illustrations, in pictures and we know that we like ancient Israel were delivered by the blood of the Lamb as they were saved by the Passover Lamb. And we are as they were able to be baptized and they were baptized in the seed and the cloud. And they went through this wilderness time where they learned his will for their life. This is we are, we are in wilderness time, we are on a journey towards the promised land, and we by our own human efforts have sort to keep his commandments that law that was given by Moses but we also know the law cannot justify us or cause us to be considered righteous enough for us to cross the Jordan and enter the promised land and have eternal life. We can't get there by our own righteousness instead its gonna take a man named Yahushua to take us through even those among us who were gentile dogs, at one time, across the Jordan river into the promised land. So the Feast of Trumpets which occurs on the moon of the seventh month because Yahweh's months are tied in with the moon cycle. Remember Jericho means moon, it's moon, signifies this very event that Joshua led them and they cause the walls to come down with the shell and a trumpet, and the Messiah is gonna return with the shell and with the trumpet and all the earthly temporary shaky wobbly foundations and walls and kingdoms of this world that people have relied upon for their protection, become tumbling down. And the kingdoms of this world will become the kingdom of our Master Yahweh and Messiah Yahushua and he shall reign forever and ever. Revelation 11:15 Then the seventh angel sounded; and there were loud voices in heaven, saying, "The kingdoms of the world has become the kingdoms of our Master and of His Messiah, and He shall reign forever and ever." We wanna talk about the inspiration of scripture, how could all of that just come together
like that from the book of Joshua to the book of

Revelation, the consistency in the eternal
witness scripture is amazing because it could not have been constructed by mere man.
These books were written 1300 years apart and
belong there now. But an interesting thing about Feast of Trumpets is it occurs on the first day of the month. Now if we understand Yahweh's counters is not based on human calculation and his counter and his Feast Days are based on the motion of the heavenly bodies in space we actually find something to watch for on the night in which the Feast of Trumpets begins, something to watch for. Genesis 1:14 says Then Elohim said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heavens to divide the day from the night, and let them be for signs, and seasons, and for days, and years. And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so. Then Elohim made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also. Now if you look up the word translated seasons
you'll find that it comes from the Hebrew word
Moedim. This word Moedim upon at times is actually translated Feast twenty-three times, it's translated Feast. Now this book of Genesis, this is when Yahweh is creating the firmament of the heavens and he sets the lights in the space and he says this is gonna be for Feasts. Now if it was only a Jewish Feast then why did he do this and say this is gonna be for Feasts for a point and times.
It's because this Feast is not just for Israel, this
Feast is for all of us every single one of us who are believers are gonna rejoice when our Savior returns, isn't that something to celebrate? People celebrate his birthday, they celebrate his resurrection day, why would you celebrate his return? And only it's a testimony to the world, our Savior is coming back and we are already celebrating. Now that we can celebrate something that hasn't even happened yet because when Yahweh speaks, he says the things, he speaks the things which are not yet as though they are. Now 1 Kings 8:2 says Now all the men of Israel assembled with King Solomon at the feast in the month (#3391), that word means moon, which is Ethanim, which is the seventh renewal, or new month. Okay, so month, moon, renewal, new moon it's all one and the same, pretty much mean the same thing. because Yahweh uses the moon to determine his months, he doesn't consult Julius Caesar and say okay when is September? No he's got his calendar that he follows his timetable and I guarantee you one thing he's not gonna care what Caesars or the Roman counters on our wall is, he's gonna be looking at his own calendar as these end of days unfold and behooves us that we need to learn what this is all about. Now the word Ethanim, interestingly enough, means enduring strength means to endure. And in order for us to reach this time of the Messiah's return our Savior taught us he who endures to the end will be saved, you must endure. We must Ethanim, we must be willing to endure and it's actually named after the springs which would never dry up in the time of drought. It's at that time that there are some enduring streams in spite of a typically dry summer as Israel experiences, the waters continue to flow. I'm gonna tell you, before Messiah returns, there will be a time of famine and we are now in a time of plenty, we need to be thankful. you know seven years of planting that Joseph had, he was told, hey, store up because there is a famine coming and you're gonna need that. So you need to--this time of plenty, we need to be storing up the word of Yahweh in our hearts because we never know a famine may come, they take your bible away from you physically but they can't take it away from your heart because you've known it, you become familiar with it, they can't take that from you. So the food he provides he is providing it this time take full advantage and prepare.
So there are Festivals that our Savior has not
yet fulfilled and this Feast of Trumpets is one of them and we can rejoice in it, and we are
watching, we are waiting, we are longing for his
return and he will return at the last Trumpet, and he will return with a trumpet sound and we will have the Feast of Trumpets and here we have this Feast of Trumpets, it's about three months time period between Pentecost and the Feast of Trumpets. And he will take Ethanim for us to get there. And so how do we know by looking up in the night sky when it's a new moon? Well, the moon goes through phases.
It starts with the dark moon, and then there will
be a light silver of light coming on one side and then eventually comes around all full moon and then the light starts to diminish into her stuck once more. It's all based on the orbit of where the moon is sitting in relation to the sun and the orbit around the earth. But, if you are wanting to know what the new moon is going to look like, you're gonna be looking for moon that looks like this, a crescent-shaped moon, it's called a crescent and that marks the beginning of every month on Yahweh's calendar is marked by this
and so now any shepherded of Israel watching over
his flocks could look up in the sky and know when a new month will begin. On earth, the elimination of the moon grows until it reaches full moon and then reduces. Now there is a scientific new moon you might see on your calendar just known as a conjunction and that's when the sun, the moon, and the earth are all in line with one another. But as the moon continues to move in its orbit around the earth there will be just a little sliver of light coming around the one side. And that's the reappearance of the moon and, therefore, the new moon. But it creates a perfect picture of what our Savior told to do before his return and that was watch.
Watch, look for the new moon and on that night
begins the Feast of Trumpets. We will be watching to see whether or not the new moon will appear and we anticipate a certain night and I'll give that in a minute. But there are times we don't really know for sure whether we are going to see it that night.
Now this year we do anticipate being able to
know when based on calculations. But unless we had them calculations we wouldn't really know for sure when it could be one of two nights that we might see it. But I'm gonna go ahead and show you the night that we expect to be able to see the new moon. I'm gonna bring it up here. It's actually a calendar. You can download as a pdf and I'll give a link to that in a minute. But, it's a calendar and you go here to this calendar and we use this for determining, based on the moon phases, when Yahweh's calendar--the seventh month could begin. That's what we use this for. So looking here, we're gonna go forward to the seventh month. We're gonna scroll down to the seventh month and you'll notice here that I have a coloration of, here is the sixth month that's what we are in right now. On the night of the 21st of September, we are anticipating having full visibility of the new moon and most of the earth there will be able to see it.
And going to this chart here, so what that means
is the night of the 21st right here, we are going to go out and we going to look for this crescent moon and if we see it, then that night (which I think we will), that night will begin the 22nd day because Yahweh's days begin in the evening. It will begin 22nd day of the month and that will be Yom Teruah or the Feast of Trumpets. And it's the day, right before the Sabbath interestingly enough. But that's what we are looking for and scroll in here it tells you here on the calendar the Feast of Trumpets will be no work on that day, holy convocation that means gather to hear the word and they will do their burnt offerings and they heard the Torah. And Nehemiah chapter 8 but we make our praise offerings as well, it doesn't have to be burnt offerings, it can be offerings of praise which actually pleases Yahweh more than the flesh of bulls and goats and sheep and things like that. So this is the month called enduring Ethanim, that's the first day of Yahweh's calendar in the seventh month. And so you can download this calendar at eliyah.com/printed calendar.html or eliyah.com/calendar and you can also request--I've got, I don't know, I wanna say maybe 30 of these things left, I'm about to run out. Where you can actually request a printed copy of this calendar and we are officially on the 11th day of the 6th month as we speak, and so we are right here. You can see the 9/2, that is September 2nd. And then here in a few weeks we are anticipating having Yom Teruah right here on the 22nd. So we gonna flip forward the chart here and go to the next page and here we go. And so it tells you when Yahweh's days are in relation to the Roman calendar, you see. Roman calendar dates up the right-hand corner of each day and then the corresponding day on Yahweh's calendar and so this calendar is here to help you learn how to stay track of Yahweh's timetable. A nice little picture of the new moon on the back and scripture references are kind of--passed from one new moon to another, and one Sabbath to the another, all flesh will come and worship before me. That is an unfulfilled prophecy that we looking to Yahweh for fulfillment in the future. So awesome things are gonna be happening at that time. So that is a brief explanation of Yahweh's calendar, but this is enough for you to know when the Feast of Trumpets is actually gonna be and, again, the night of September 21st we're gonna take a look at the night sky and try to do our best to find it. And we are also gonna have a new moon broadcast here in our studio and will get your new moon reports that night as well and just rejoice together. So another thing I have noticed is, that at this time when there's a sliver in this sky that there is also a kind of an orangish glow on the horizon. And that is the fire of the sun obviously creating its own orangish, reddish type of glow and it just so happens the scripture says in Malachi 4:1, Behold, the day is coming, burning like an oven; and all the proud, yes, all who do wickedly, will be stubble: and the day which coming shall burn them up, says Yahweh of hosts, that will leave them neither root nor branch. But to you fear my name the Sun of righteousness shall arise with healing in his wings, and you shall go out, and grow fat like calves of the stall. So listen this is an unfulfilled Feast. We are still waiting for it to be fulfilled and there are awesome pictures here and one of the most amazing things is we are talking about the crescent moon and it actually is shaped like a shofar. Now you get the crescent moon it's actually shaped like a shofar which I had in my hand earlier and that's why the opening graphics here I show the same shape the shofar shape and then the shape of the new moon. So you look up in the sky it's like he's telling you get your shofars out and blow your shofars. And that's the ram's horn which I think is the original shofar. But listen wouldn't it be wonderful if the church kept this Feast? I mean as a testimony to the world that our Savior is coming to rescue us from this hole we have dug ourselves into. And there is hope there are answers, there is a kingdom coming that we are invited to. And we sound the shofar, sound the alarm and the Savior is gonna return and he has Feast days he wants to fulfill. And he's gonna return at this last trump and this world needs to know this. And if we were to keep this Feast, if the body of the Messiah collectively would all keep this Feast. It will be a yearly reminder, there's hope on the horizon, there's hope. And we are looking forward to it and you are in your house and you just go outside and you start blowing shofars, your neighbors go what's that, what's he doing over there, what's with the funny noise and what's that all about? And opportunity to witness, you know it's beautiful tool we have those children out there with the shofars. And you know, but think about this ancient Israel they didn't really fully understand all that, they are like okay we just gonna go around here and they're just told to do this blow shofars and sometimes you just have to be like little children, willing to do your father's will whether you understand it or not. And don't have to understand it to do it, you just have to do it because you love him.
Scriptures speak of setting the alarm Yom the
day of the alarm, this can be quite alarming to the world when our Savior comes and every guy will see him and says that he will strike the earth with
a rod of his mouth and with a breath of his lips
he shall slay the wicked. Pretty alarming I would say our righteousness shall be the belt of his loins and the faithfulness the belt of his waist, the wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, the leopard shall lie down with the young goat, the calf and the young lion in a fatling together and a little child shall lead them. Beautiful, so when that Trumpet sounds then deaneries the alarm call for the most significant events our heavenly father has awesomely plan. He's also, he's going to gather Israel together Jeremiah 23:7 Behold, the days are coming, says Yahweh, they shall no more say, as Yahweh lives, who brought up the children of Israel from the land of Egypt. But, as Yahweh lives, who brought up and led the descendants of the house of Israel from the north country, and from all countries where I had driven them; and they shall dwell in their own land.
Now Galatians 3 verse 29 tells us that those who
are Messiah's are Abraham's seed and also according to Romans 11 we are grafted into the altery of Israel and Yahweh will gather his children together. Revelation 20 says we will reign with him for a thousand years. Isiah 66 and unfulfilled prophecy says for as the new heavens and new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, says Yahweh, so shall your descendants and your name remain. Talking about Israel he's gonna gather them, it shall come to pass, from one new moon to another, and one Sabbath to another, all flesh shall come to worship before me, says Yahweh. And they shall go forth, and look upon the corpses of the men who transgressed against me: for their worm does not die, and their fire is not quenched, and they shall be an abhorring to all flesh.
Also, Zachariah 14 verse 16 says it shall come to
pass, that everyone who is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall go up from year to year to worship the King, Yahweh of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles. And it shall be, the which every of all the families of the earth do not come up to Jerusalem to worship the King, Yahweh of hosts, on them there will be no rain. At the family of Egypt will not come up and enter and they shall have no rain, there shall receive the plague, with which Yahweh strikes to the nations who do not come up to keep the feast of tabernacles. Now, why is he telling nations that the gentiles to come and keep the Feast if it's only a Jewish Feast? It's only for the Jews, it's because it was never just for the Jews it was for everyone it's just he revealed these things to the Jews who were then supposed to tell the Gentiles and tell the whole world. So he's going to punish Egypt and any nation that does not come up and keep the Feast of Tabernacles they will have no rain. That's because the Feast of Tabernacles is a time for giving thanks for the harvest. Now very rarely will you hear these verses being quoted in a traditional Christian church because they really don't know what to do with these scriptures because it's kinda like sounds like the law is not really been abolished, and the Feast days are supposed to be kept? But people will be paying attention to Yahweh's calendar in the new millennium it says that there will be one new moon to another, one Sabbath to another and so they will have to recognize when the new moons are and they will know he'll teach them his calendar and we are gonna be rulers in that kingdom. Now if we are gonna be rulers in that kingdom how can we be rulers in that kingdom when we don't even know the rules? We've never kept the rules ourselves, we never paid attention to the counter ourselves.
So you know the coming king is very different
than what you might have been told. Behold you are told this, well you know eyes not seen, no ear heard noise entered in the heart of men the things which Elohim has prepared for those who love him and you just not gonna know what's gonna happen, you don't know, it's a big mystery. But it says here Elohim has revealed them to us
through a spirit, the things which he has
prepared. The spirit of Yahweh inspired the scriptures to be written and the scriptures tell us there will be Feast days observed and one new moon to another and one Sabbath to another, the Sabbath will be observed every nation, all nations shall come and worship Yahweh. So many people quote verse 9 and don't notice verse 10. So what will this be like? It's not like but maybe you heard people sit around bored half to death, floating on clouds playing harps. And what's right is not always popular and what's popular is not always right. The scriptures I quoted you they're gonna happen, the unfulfilled prophecies they are gonna happen they speak of the 1000 year reign of Messiah on the earth which is mentioned here in Revelation chapter 20 verse 4 I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them: then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for the witness of Yahushua, and for the word of Elohim, who would not worship the beast, or his image, had not received his mark on their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Messiah for a thousand years. Most of us know this mark as in the future right? Of course well so is this one thousand year reign in the future? The rest of the dead do not live again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. The amazing time it's gonna be. Blessed and holy is he who has a part in the first resurrection: over such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of Elohim and of Messiah, and they shall reign with him for a thousand years. So Yahushua came he actually came to proclaim a kingdom. What's a kingdom? A kingdom is a system of government with a king and a place of dominion, kingdom. Yahushua said in Matthew 4:17 From that time Yahushua began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. And Yahushua, went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the good news of the kingdom, healing all kinds of sickness, and all kinds of disease among the people. There is a kingdom coming, here's what the kingdom is gonna be like people are gonna be keeping these Festivals that just one thing of it, it's not the whole thing. But over fifty times in the book of Matthew you gonna be reading about Yahushua speaking of the kingdom and most people have no clue what this kingdom is gonna be like and yet we have in the master's prayer, your kingdom come. What kingdom? What's it gonna be like? In Acts chapter 8 verse 12 when they believed Philip as he preached the things concerning the kingdom of Elohim, and the name of Yahushua Messiah, I don't wanna change the name to Jesus, usually it's Yahushua, not Jesus, I wanna preach the kingdom and I wanna teach the name, I wanna teach both just as they were. Acts 19:8 when he went into the synagogue, and spoke boldly for three months, disputing and persuading the things concerning the kingdom of Elohim. Acts 28:30 And Paul dwelt two whole years in his own rented house, and received all who came to him, preaching the kingdom of Elohim, and teaching the things which concern Master Yahushua Messiah, with all confidence, no one forbidding him. So what we are reading here is the kingdom that we are supposed to be proclaiming to the world and that's what these Festivals do when we keep these Festivals we are proclaiming the kingdom. This is Yahweh's will being done on earth as it is in heaven as we pray all the time, your kingdom comes you will be done on earth as it is in heaven, yours is the kingdom and power and glory. No more elections, no more turmoil, no more bombs, no more people arguing over what laws are being passed, just a righteous king bringing justice and righteousness to the earth. Yahushua says heaven and earth will pass away but my words will by no means pass away. But of that day or hour, no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the son only the father. Take heed watch and pray for you do not know what time it is. Not even Yahushua knows, even he doesn't know when it's gonna be how much less us, he won't know the day or the hour. Just like a man going to a far country he left his house and gave authority to his servants and to each his work and commanded to keep it to watch. Watch there fall for you do not know when the master of the house is coming in the evening, at midnight, at the crowing of the rooster or in the morning, lest coming suddenly he finds you sleeping. And what I say to you I say to all, watch.
He's saying it to us, we are part of that all
there. Feast of Trumpets is a feast that gives a picture of this time when our savior will come and gather us all together with the sound of a Trumpet, how fitting? We don't know the day or the hour of the Feast of Trumpets in many cases because the moon phases can be kind of tricky. You know, you are looking and might be a little cloudy that night, might be right there on the line where you might see it, you might not, you know. It's interesting and, actually, the sun goes down first. That means the day has already begun and then within 30 to 60 minutes, you see the moon appear. But, you won't see it before, you won't see it at sundown unless it's much later. Or right at sundown. But most of the time you don't see it till maybe 30 or 60 minutes after sundown and so the day's already begin and you are still waiting and you are looking to see whether you are going to notice the new moon and we have had Festivals like that where we didn't know what days to plan for, it could be one day it could be the other. So it starts before you even know it, and that's part of the thrill of it. You may not know the day or the hour, you may not know whether it's today or tomorrow night because the new moon may or may not be visible that night, depending on where you live and so on. So I don't know that's part of the thrill and it's just interesting that Yahushua said "no one knows the day or the hour" and the Feast of Trumpets and some years, not every year you don't know the day or the hour when it's gonna be. So I think there is a reason for that, there are so many things that correlate to this Feast of Trumpets it's connected with our Savior's return, it's amazing. And it's one of the reasons I believe in the reliability of scripture, one of many reasons. So Yahushua is saying watch, that's what we do, we look for the new moon we are watching to see when the Feast of Trumpets will be. All these correlations, all these layers, like peeling back on you find oh there is another layer of onion there, it's just going on and on and on. Yahushua said heaven and earth will pass away but
my words by no means pass away but take heed to
yourselves lest your hearts be weighed down a carousing drunkenness and care of this life and that day come upon you unexpectedly, for what comes as a snare on all those who dwell on the face of the whole earth. Watch therefore and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things will come to pass, the son of man. Carousing cares of this life weighing our hearts down Yahushua warned us so many times don't get caught up in earthly things, as the earthly walls and kingdoms that will be coming down when He comes. Just as Joshua came, Yahushua came and leveled Jericho, Yahushua Messiah will put an end to the kingdoms of this world and the foundations and defenses of this world with all its vainglory.
You know in some way it is hard to keep our focus on
Yahweh and heavenly things during times of plenty, during times of wealth because it's only during times of trouble that man typically humble themselves and seek Yahweh. Usually during times of plenty, it's "got my own thing going on here but you know"... we had this hurricane come through Texas, you know awful thing really over 47 people have died so far. On the other hand, probably those people that died a lot of them were crying out to our father in heaven and maybe gave their lives to him and I always say it's probably getting a whole lot more attention than Texas today than he was 3 weeks ago. So are we praying that we are accounted worthy like Yahushua told us, pray you are accounted worthy to escape these things that will come to pass the good tribulation and to stand before the son of man. To make it, we're going to have to Ethanim, we are going to have to endure. Revelation 3:10 says Because you have kept my command to persevere (to endure, Ethanim), I also will keep you from the hour of trial, which will come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth. Behold, I am coming quickly: hold that fast which you have, that no man may take your crown. So are we ready for that last trumpet? Are we ready for the Yom Teruah? Are we out there giving bread? Matthew 24:45 Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his master made ruler over his household, to give them food in due season? Blessed is that servant, whom his master when he comes, will find so doing. Doing what?
handing out food and we actually started a soup
kitchen in the neighborhood about the building this week and we plan to hand out food, physically and spiritually we gonna be handing out food and so if we are found doing this when Messiah comes, then we will be blessed because we are doing what he called us to do. Matthew 25:31 says When the Son of man comes in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then will sit on the throne of his glory. All nations will be gathered before him : and he will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats. And he will set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.
Then the King will say to those on his right hand,
Come, you blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. For I was an hungry, and you gave me food: I was thirsty, and you gave me drink: I was a stranger, and you took me in. I was naked, and you clothed me: I was sick, and you visited me: I was in prison, and you came to me. Then the righteous will answer him, saying, Master, when do we get to see you hungry, and feed you? or thirsty, and give you drink? When do we see you a stranger, and take you in? or naked, and clothe you? When did we see you sick, or in prison, and come to you? And the King will answer and say to them, Assuredly I say to you, Inasmuch as you did it to one of least of these my brethren, you did it to me. Then he will also say to those in the left hand, Depart from me, you cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels. For I was an hungry, you gave me no food: I was thirsty, and you gave me no drink.
I was a stranger, and you did not take me in: naked,
and you did not clothe me: sick, and in prison, and you did not visit me. Then they will also answer him, saying, Master, when do we see you hungry, or thirsty, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister to you? Then he will say answer them, saying, Assuredly I say to you, Inasmuch as you did not it to one of least of these, you did it not do it to me. And these will go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into eternal life. It looks like the sheep are spending time ministering and saving others. But the goats are just, it's not that they are
performing wickedly necessarily, they are just

indifferent.
You see the need and be warmed and be filled and I'll pray for you and pass by, like the Pharisee or that person over there he might you know corrupt me or you know and pass on by the man who is down and out. When the Samaritan comes by and heals him up and provides and loves. Are we the sheep, are we the goats? Are we the Pharisees, are we the Samaritan?
The self-centered lifestyle was not among
the sheep, the goats, on the other hand, paid no attention to the needs around them and mostly focused on themselves and their own interests not knowing it was Yahushua himself that was in need.
It wasn't what the goats did it's what they failed
to do, they failed to love buried their heads in the sand focused on the cares of this life and laid their foundation in things that have no eternal value whatsoever.
But maybe even they like those in Amos and Isiah
chapter 1 and other places they keep the Feast days but paid no attention to the oppressed, the poor, the fatherless and the widow and didn't seek to help what was needed and they relied on other people to do it and then blamed others for not doing it right or sit back and play the armchair believer, criticizing those who were trying to make an effort. All of them not doing it correctly, so I'm not gonna participate. Since when did it become the world's responsibility to take care of the poor? Tell me that? Since when did it become...the government is going to be a nanny state here? And we all look to the government for their salvation. I don't remember reading that in scripture anywhere, all it does is produce entitled people.
You know we are free, we are entitled to be free
but we are not free to be entitled just produces entitled people. They are not being taught the word. Now we as believers, have a whole lot more to offer to the downtrodden because we cannot only feed the weary souls physically we can feed them spiritually. And we cannot only visit those in prison, we can set their hearts free from the prison which Satan has bound them in. We cannot only provide shelter for the one in need we can offer them an eternal habitation in the house of our Elohim. We cannot only offer them a drink of water, we can lead them to the one who can provide living water, water that they can drink from and never thirst again. We can not only offer the clothing to the poor, we can give them the robe of righteousness that Yahushua seeks to adorn them with. We should be the ones who are taking the lead in these areas and if we think keeping a Feast is good enough you take lessons from Isiah chapter 1, read that. Because certainly wasn't good enough back then, all you gonna do is to speak about your own business and not be about our father's business being aware of the traps and pits and standards of the world, the enemy can only divert our attention from the things that are important and the cares of this life and the carousing, he's already won the battle because he has our attention diverted from the heavenly things and we are not among those who are watching and praying. Are you watching and praying? We need to be watching and praying. 1 Peter 4:7 But the end of all things is at hand: therefore be serious, and watchful in your prayers. Above all things have fervent love for one another: for love will cover a multitude of sins. Be hospitable to one another without grumbling.
Your house is not your house, it's Yahweh's house

as each one has received a gift minister it to one
another as good stewards of the manifold grace of Elohim.
I'm just a delivery boy I don't write the mail,

don't be a dog and bite the mailman.
Please read the mail, this is what the scriptures say
it convicts me I wanna do more, and more when I read this.
1 Corinthians 16 Watch, stand fast in the faith, be brave, be strong, at all that you do. Be done with love not grumbling, not complaining, that's love. So we are called to watch and it should be Yahushua does not return null generation we waste our time watching no. Don't waste our time watching all you gonna do is read the obituaries and realize your time here on the earth is short there is no guarantee of tomorrow, young people die, middle-aged people die, older people die too. All it takes you drive along a two-way in highway, two-way highway and the guy coming your way decides to move his steering well 6 inches and on collision, your life is over, it can happen. I'm not saying it will, I'm not cursing anybody it can happen. Your life is so fragile and if you die at that moment a thousand years could come by before Yahushua returns and to you, it will be like you are just happy you are driving along here is the mac truck you see the nameplate mark on the truck, next thing you know you see Yahushua himself. There is no awareness of a thousand years transpiring
or 5 minutes or 5 hours or 5 years.
It will be like the Trumpet already sounded for you because the hour is coming when which all who are in the graze will hear his voice and come forth. those who have done good to the resurrection of life, those who have done evil to the resurrection of condemnation. Let's not assume that necessarily the coming of the Messiah means our life we gonna be transformed,
we may die before then.
Our lives are fragile that's why we need to seek heavenly things, scripture says teach us the number of our days we may gain our heart of wisdom.
Yahweh makes me know my end and what is the
measure of my days, I mean, that I may know how frail I am Psalm 39:4. You made my day as handbreadths, and my age is as nothing before you. Certainly, every man and his best state is about vapor, Selah. Surely every man walks about like a shadow, surely they busy themselves in vain. He heaps up riches and he does not know who will gather them. Now Yahweh who do I wait for? My hope is in you. James 4:14, what is your life? It is even a vapor, that appears for a little time, and then vanishes away. When you store up the food for the time of famine and brought the sisters will be ready for the things to come because we are gonna need to cleave to Yahweh and we need to be ready. Be ready to rule and reign with Messiah for a thousand years, where the Feasts will be observed, the Torah will be the law Yahweh will be on the land. Not the modern politicians and their laws, his law. One other thing. Something that would happen whenever they are anointed the king, new king in Israel. 1 king 1:34, therefore, let Zadok the priest and Nathan the prophet anoint him king over Israel: and blow a horn, and say, long live king Solomon. Then you shall come up after him, and he shall come and sit into my throne; he shall be king in my place: for I have appointed him to be ruler over Israel and Judah. When that last Trumpet sounds, brothers and sisters, this world will be under a rule it's known or seen before and the sounding of the shofars, sounding of the trumpet while saying Yahushua is our king long live king Yahushua.
And many nations shall come and say Micah 4:2
come and let us go up to mountain of Yahweh, to the house the Elohim of Jacob, nations as gentiles will come up, he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion the law shall go forth (it's not done away with), and the word of Yahweh from Jerusalem. He shall judge between many people, and rebuke strong nations afar off; they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning-hooks: nation shall not lift up a sword against nation, neither shall they learn war anymore. Lots of people quote verse 3..don't know about verse 2. Verse 2 is a statement that Yahweh's law, every kingdom has a king, every kingdom has laws.
And Yahweh's law will be the law, the Torah the
first five books of the bible. But everyone shall sit under his vine and under his fig tree, and no one shall make them afraid: for the mouth of Yahweh of hosts hath spoken. For all the people walk each in the name of his god, but we will walk in the name of Yahweh our Elohim for ever and ever.
Think about that a lot of people don't even know our
father's name, let alone walk in his name. But he's gonna make us all know his name that's why I use his name. I wanna walk in his name, I wanna praise his name, I wanna exalt his name, lift up his name gather in his name, pray in his name, exalt his name together. And that day says Yahweh I will assume the lame, I will gather the outcast and those whom I afflicted. Hallelujah, so we are warned take heed to yourselves, listen got news for you Babylon is
going down.

All this beautiful America, the beautiful
America, America, America. Or the world or whatever it is, all the music, the music industry, the Hollywood industry, the websites, the pictures, the music, the magazines, all these things it's going down. Are we ready for that momentous event? Because Babylon is going down. Are we focusing on what Yahweh is doing on the earth today? Are we about our father's business? We need to be ready when that last Trumpet sounds because Babylon is going down. Don't get caught up in their ways. Instead seek to be caught up in the air with Yahushua when he returns and takes heed to yourselves. Lest your hearts be way down with carousing drunkenness and cares of this life and that day come upon you unexpectedly for it will come as a snare on those who dwell on it, face the whole earth, watch, therefore, pray always, you may be counted worthy to escape All these things come to pass because it will be a snare. lets seek to be a light in the midst of darkness for
you yourselves know perfectly the day of
Yahweh's will come as a thief on the night 1 Thessalonian 5:2 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman; and they shall not escape. But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this day should overtake you as a thief. You are all the sons of light, and sons of the day: we are not of the night, or of darkness.
Therefore let's not sleep, as others do; but let us
watch and be sober. For those who sleep at the night; and those who would get drunk are drunk at night. But us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; as a helmet, and as a helmet, hope of salvation. For Elohim did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Master Yahushua Messiah, who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.
So what does the Feast of Trumpets teach us?
It's a yearly reminder of these things we need to be watchful, that's a yearly reminder to prepare ourselves and seek to let the body of Yahushua to cleanse us from all sins as we confess them and forsake them. And be ready to meet our king and reign with him, that's a yearly reminder that we are an army of Yahweh who is being called forth to war at the sound of the Trumpet. Being fully ready to endure any hardship necessary to defeat the enemy because you must endure hardship as a good soldier of Yahushua Messiah and no one engage in warfare entangles himself with the affairs of this life that he may please him who enlisted him as a soldier. It's a yearly reminder, we need to not be entangling ourself too much with the affairs of this life that we may please the one who enlisted us. And so man just put down your toys and the worldly pursuits and pick up the Armour of Yahweh and go forth to war, it's a yearly reminder. The futility of worldly politics, the empty promises that they bring, a yearly reminder that the promises we have in Messiah are so far greater than any promise coming from a politician. Only he has the answers we are not part of a democracy, we are not part of a republic.
Donald Trump is a politician who is limited
to his power to do good or to do evil. Yahweh as a true king to whom we all must give account. Our government is a monarchy with one righteous king and so let the Feasts of Trumpets remind you that there is a greater government in place that one day will put an end to our governments and we are called to submit to that government right now. We need to see ourselves as ambassadors of that government rather than put our hopes to the next politician. The Feast of Trumpets is a yearly reminder that we must be watchful and guard our hearts and minds against anything the enemy may seek to do to our hearts. And for us men, we watch over our households as the elders of our people being watchful over his people to warn against the wolves as any good shepherded would have you do. If you call yourself an elder you are camel to this, don't forget that. The Feast of the Trumpets as a yearly reminder that we need to be concerned about our Father's business and give food to those who need spiritual food, physical food one leads to the other and will be blessed when our master comes and so my brothers and sisters lets be ready to hear the sound of the trumpet. Lets be ready to hear the shout of the Archangel that midnight cry to meet to bridegroom, lets have
our lamps filled with oil, our hearts filled with a
service of love being filled with Yahweh's spirit of love and joy, peace, kindness, faithfulness, goodness and self-control lets be ready to meet the bridegroom. And join in the ultimate feast that will never end, let's be ready when that last trumpet sounds.
O, Father Yahweh in the name of Yahushua
HaMashiach. Our Savior our king, our salvation we come to you
father seeking your forgiveness where we have
failed you in these areas. And yet rejoices at your promises when our Savior returns and that last Trumpets sounds and you gather your people together. And we defeat the enemy, place an abomus pit where it belongs and all his kingdoms come crashing down. Then the kingdom of your dear son is established as one king for the whole planet. And the whole world will gather one Sabbath to another, one new moon to another to keep the Feasts of Trumpets, to keep the Feasts of Tabernacles, to observe your ways and glorify your name.
We look forward to that day father but we tell
them we know there is work to do, store up in our hearts your word that we might endure whatever it is to come. We see the hostility of the opposition becoming more and more hostile toward you and your ways. Let us be among those who defeat the enemy by your spirit and by your power for greater is he who is in us that he who is in the world. For truly yours is the kingdom and power and glory and majesty in all praise, honor, and worship belong to you. Yahweh Elohim, Yahweh Ama tiwani, forever and ever, in Yahushua's name we pray, Amein
