Learning to Trust in Yahweh
06/10/17 (03/15) Video Broadcast
What it all boils down to
in our relationship with
our Heavenly Father. It
all boils down to one
thing and that's
Trust and Faith.
And so we are going to be
talking about that today.
Learning to
trust in Yahweh.
Its where the rubber
meets the road
so to speak, that's
where the realness of our
faith and our walk can
sometimes be revealed.
Whom do we truly trust?
What are we putting our
trust in; who are we
putting our trust in?
You know every piece of
currency produced in the
United States of America
says "in god we trust" and
this is a more of a
generic god, whatever god
you happen to be
worshiping at the time is
the one that you
know generic god.
But historically speaking,
it was always referring to,
I mean most of time,
the one found in the
scriptures. Most people are
not thinking of Buddha or
Allah.
Well, maybe more so today
but they were not at the
time thinking of those
kinds of things.
They were this is all
the way back in...
They first found American
currency, in 1864.
It's actually the
last phrase of the
'star-spangled banner'
which is not sung today.
But today with the way
society is living, I have
to say that, the way things
seem to be going, it's more
about in this particular
god they trust, which is
the coinage itself.
But it's pretty sad but
some trust in chariots and
some in horses.
But we will remember the
name of Yahweh our Elohim.
So I got to thinking about
this scripture, you know,
some trust in chariot and
some trust in horses and I
was reading and
contemplating about this
thing they are talking
about called an E.M.F,
nuclear explosion
taking place.
For a foreign country it
wouldn't have to be, it
wouldn't have to be the
most powerful nation,
maybe something small even
like any country with a
nuclear capability,
perhaps North Korea or
some country like that.
If they could just launch
a nuclear missile of some
kind and you know send it
and have it explode over
the United States of
America. It would not
cause any physical damage
necessarily to people as
in people dying from that.
For the most part, it will
be infrastructure damage
to the electric system, to
components and pretty
much render our society
helpless because we
have no electricity.
With no electricity you
can't get to your money,
you can't get to anything,
you can hardly do anything
anymore and I thought
about that you know.
All it take, it wouldn't
take very much or our
house of cards called our
economy happens to topple
over it wouldn't take much
and people are putting
their trust in this big
military and all that and
there is ways, there
is ways around that.
So the point is this, it
appears to me the United
States of America is
falling into decline even
though our city declines
have already begun as
Torah warns, as people
walk away from him, they
will get weaker
and weaker.
Other countries will get
stronger and stronger and
people are putting their
trust in the military
prowess of the
United States.
Oh, we will not fall like
other nations, they reason.
Our nation has the most
savvy and strongest
military there is.
And like scripture says
"some trust in chariots",
some in nukes, and some
in strong military.
But we, who are
we trusting in?
We are believers
in Yahushua.
Who are we putting
our trust in?
We are going to have to
remember the name of
Yahweh our mighty one and
put our trust in him."
Because the name of Yahweh
is a strong tower, the
righteous run to it and
are safe", Proverbs 18 and
verse 10.
So is that the place where
we are putting our trust,
some are putting their
trust in F16's nations
military tanks but
Yahweh's name is what we
are going to call upon."
We have his protection in
all things and those who
know your name," the
psalmist writes 'will
put their trust in you.
For you, Yahweh have not
forsaken those who seek you."
And so I want to encourage
every man, women, and
child in the United States
and every country on the
earth.
There is only one, who is
truly worthy of our 100%
complete trust, not
just now but in every
circumstance as strong as
man might appear to be
with advance weaponry
and training, they are
nothing, they are
absolutely nothing.
Psalm 68 verses 2 "As
smoke is driven away so
drive them away as wax
melts before the fire, so
let the wicked perish at
the present of Elohim".
And with so much pride,
people think they are
something and they are
nothing compared to Yahweh
and his power.
And with so many
distractions and
entertainments and
technologies, man is like
'look what I can do now'
and it's really easy for
people to let other things
be what they decide to put
their trust in but we are
commanded to "trust in
Yahweh with all your heart
and do not lean unto your
own understanding, in all
your ways acknowledge him,
he shall direct
your paths.
Do not be wise
in your own eyes.
Fear Yahweh and
depart from evil.
It will be health to your
flesh and strength to your
bones." All throughout
scriptures, we are told
the importance of putting
our trust in the most
High.
And the importance
of that can never be
underestimated, there is
a lot in these scriptures
just right here,
acknowledge him in all
your ways.
If you want health and
strength don't lean on
your own understanding,
acknowledge Yahweh.
Let him direct your paths
and do not be wise in your
own eyes, fear Him
and depart from evil.
Much of what can hinder trust revolves around probably the greatest enemy of trust, fear. Fear and trust are opposites. Both project into the future, one with great trembling in terms of what may happen to you, that's Fear. And then there's Trust. They are opposites. But they both project into the future what may happen. Will we trust and where we fear, where we rely upon our ability to figure out what's gonna happen next? And be afraid of it and then take measures, is that what's going to save us in the day of disaster? Or will it be Yahweh and our trust in him. I am not saying be foolish, I am saying do not fear. Seek to be a good man who deals graciously and learns and Yahweh will guide your affairs with discretion, you will never be shaken, surely the righteous will be an everlasting embrace and you'll not be afraid, you will not be afraid of evil tidings or bad news. His heart is steady fast, trusting in Yahweh. Is that you?
Is your heart steady fast, are you afraid of bad news? Are you afraid of what may happen in the future? Do you see the difficulties ahead? And are you afraid? How fixed is your heart? Do you know, you know, you don't have to be afraid of anything in the future because we have Yahweh? And if we have Yahweh, we have everything we need.
He will guide us through this wilderness, through this land, through this kingdom on the earth it's not over. Just as the ancient Israel did not need to fear the giants when the fire or the cloud moved, neither do we. And the signs seem to be pointing to the possibility that we are living in the final generation of men before Messiah returns. It does appear there will be some kind of great turmoil in a not so distant future but through it all, we don't have to fear. There are many websites, tabloids, newsletters, magazines dooming gloom, websites proclaiming the dangers of conspiracies and evil plans by various world leaders. Conspiracy theories, they are out to get you. They are tracking your every move. And probably a lot of it is not even true but whether it is or it isn't who is watching them? Their every move and knows every plan of their heart, the name of Yahweh is strong tower; the righteous will run to it and will be safe. And suppose they are able to kill the body, so what? They can't touch your soul, but people are moved with fear, because they are afraid of what may happen to them, they are afraid of suffering, suffering is what we are actually called to, it's what we signed up for, the denying of self. I think the enemy will have us run away like a dog with its tail between the legs because of what we are afraid of might happen when really no one is pursuing us. What if the economy collapses very soon do I think the United States will be destroyed in some way? I don't know. Yahweh knows but you know something, it looks to me right now like Yahweh is doing a pretty awesome work. I don't know of any time in history, except for the first century where so many people have come to both Messiah and the Commandments or in a movement better than the Protestent reformation movement. Or many people began to realize then they should actually read and follow the bible without the Catholic Church. Only now people are realizing that it is not just a New Testament part of bible, it is the whole Bible, they are supposed to follow and for those of us experiencing this revelation it's really mind-blowing and for the first time in our lives we are realizing that the first two-thirds of the scripture actually mean something, something should be followed, it's important to us, and so we are in a time of revival, if you have embraced this, I have. And the church is crying out for revival when it's happening right underneath their noses. So in the midst of a revival does Yahweh sent his powers of judgment, not usually.
Enjoy the time you are in, make the most of it, take advantage of our advantages, it's time to be about our fathers business. The enemy will have us run off in some corner somewhere and cover our eyes and be in fear.
The weak can flee when no one pursues but the righteous are bold as a lion. The days may come when man will blasphemy and then there will be time for us when they persecute us, someone say we will flee to another, then what happens? The worst thing that can happen to us we will die. Is that all that bad? For me to live as Messiah and to die as gainful, Philippians 1 verse 21," but if I live on in the flesh this will mean fruits from my labor, yet what I shall choose I cannot tell I am hard pressed between the two. Having the desire to depart and be with Messiah which is far better nevertheless to me in the flesh is more needful for you". Paul is ready to go. He couldn't decide what he wanted. To be with Messiah is actually better but then there are people who needs out there.
So the worst that could happen is that we will be with Messiah. That's the worst thing that could happen, doesn't sound all that bad to me.
That's trust brothers, sisters, that's trust. Understand. I wanna continue raising my children, I want, I don't want my wife to be a widow, my children to be fatherless and I want to remain with them. I want to continue doing what I do, but if they kill me for it because I stuck my neck out, and then cut my head off, well its game. Okay, well maybe we will be tortured in some way we don't wanna be tortured. If you are afraid of that, you are already being tortured. You are being tortured before the torture even comes, which may never even come. You are being tortured by fear. I would rather not be tortured now and maybe be tortured later than to be tortured now and may never have to be tortured later. So don't worry about it, you may not be tortured.
But you are being tortured if you are living in fear. Because fear is a cruel master, especially when the fear is completely unfounded.
To this we were called, Messiah suffered for us leaving us an example that we should follow in his steps, I will tell you what. It becomes whole lot easier to deny yourself and be willing to suffer when you already putting Yahweh first in your decisions in your life and being willing to be reproached, to be rejected, to be cast aside because Yahushua said blessed are you when men hate you and when they exclude you and revile and cast your name as evil. For the Son of Man's sake, rejoice in that day and leap for joy? For indeed your reward is great in heaven for a nightmare your fathers did to the prophets. So we should consider it an honor to suffer shame for Yahushua's sake.
It becomes worthy to do that, it have become worthy to suffer. The Apostles, they departed from of the presence the council, these are the men who condemn Yahushua to death, we have every reason to fear these men in the natural mind but they rejoiced they were counted worthy to suffer shame for his name. For someone to totally shame you for what you are doing for Yahweh? Not everybody gets that privilege to suffer shame for Yahweh's name. Don't let it stop you from teaching and preaching Yahushua Messiah. Don't let it stop you. They were bold. Daily in the temple, in every house, they did not stop. We need that kind of boldness brothers and sisters. Prepare yourselves. We may have to proclaim the word of Yahweh possibly to our own peril, to our own death. We will be tested like the children of Israel were tested in the wilderness. The people who trusted in Yahweh are not paralyzed by the thought of suffering, people who trust in Yahweh have already made the decision they want to suffer for Messiah. Look all He did for us? Can we do something for Him? People who trust in Yahweh rejoiced that they are kind of worthy to suffer shame for him. And through it all, fear of men, fearing of circumstances that's where we are manifesting our lack of trust. Fear is why the children of Israel wanted to go back to Egypt; they did not want to have to face the giants ahead. But those who trust in Yahweh will not want to go back to the vomit. Those who trust in Yahweh will know the enemies breath for us and Yahweh is stronger than they are. Numbers 14 verse 8, children of Israel were encouraged if Yahweh delights in us then he will bring us into this land and give it to us the land flows of milk and honey, only do not rebel against Yahweh nor fear the people of the land for they are our bread their protection has departed from them and Yahweh is with them with us do not fear them. Do not fear them. Do not fear them. Fear men, fear circumstances it's just a little tiny bit of atheism in there. We are not putting our trust that Yahweh is the most powerful being in the universe, we don't have anything to worry about.
Global atheism sneaking into our conscience.
Yahushua said when the Son of man comes will he find, really find faith on the earth. I think he knew the answer. Listen, brothers, Yahweh's promises are true. Do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body and Gehenna the lake of fire. Matthew 10 verse 28. Now, fear in and of itself, is not always a bad thing. But who we fear is what matters. The fear of Yahweh, the scriptures says here is a good thing. Fear Him, who is able to destroy both soul but do not fear those who can only affect the body. And that's why Proverbs 29 verse 5 says a man flatters his neighbor and spreads a net for his feet. Why? Because the one who flatters you, you value their opinion and you fear displeasing them and by that, they are able to control you through their flattery. So and so spoke so well of me, I don't wanna do anything to change that. I like getting that kind of praise and so I will make sure I do for them whatever they need me to do because I don't want them to be displeased with me and then change their opinion of me and therefore, wait a minute they just spread a net for my feet with their flattery by that they are able to control me unless I am not afraid of what men may say or do. It's what Yahweh says and what Yahweh, Yahweh's word tells me that really matters.
The people in the first century...was a major problem for them, John 12 verse 42. Nevertheless even among the rulers, many believed in Yahushua those days. Many believed, even the rulers but because of the Pharisees, they did not confess him. Lest they should be put out of the Synagogue, for they loved the praise of the man more than the praise of Elohim. Their motive? They did not want to be shamed for His name they were afraid of what men would do or what men would say? Therefore they were trusting and putting confidence in man rather than Yahweh. Being accepted by Yahweh was not so important therefore their trust was in man, not Yahweh. When I share with someone a truth as I understand it, for instance, the Sabbath.
And I share with them the Sabbath and if their thoughts immediately goes, yes Tom is right but what if I lose my job? What if, what will my parent say about me? What will my friend say about me? All my fear fear fear fear fear and out of that fear they say well I don't know, I have to think about what you're saying and then they won't because they are afraid of what will happen if they walk in the truth.
Any truth that any of us come across if we then contemplate what will man do to me, or what will happen to my circumstances? And we allow that fear of circumstances or fear of man to influence our conclusions. That's dangerous ground. And not much different than what we seeing here.
Loving the praise of man more than the praise of Elohim, the fear of man along with the lack of fear and the lack of trust in Yahweh is often the root of why Pastor or a Leader will not tell the congregation the truth. If fear circumstances rather than trusting in Yahweh is dangerous, spiritually deadly is fear of man. In other words, we are going put the men first and put Yahweh second. Remember the example of Jehoshaphat; a righteous king chose to put his trust in Yahweh. Judah was completely surrounded by armies from three different nations. Jehoshaphat decided he was going put his trust in Yahweh. And so they rose early the next morning went out into the wilderness of Takoha. 2nd Chronicles 20 verse 20 and says as he went out Jehoshaphat stood and said Hear me of Judah, and you'll never save Jerusalem, believe in Yahweh your Elohim and you shall be established. Believe his prophets and you shall prosper. So he was surrounded by this allied army with great powers strength in the flesh. Jehoshaphat encouraged them to trust in Yahweh, believing in his word and when he consulted with the people he appointed those who should sing to Yahweh and who should praise the beauty of holiness as they went out before the army and were saying "praise Yahweh for His mercy endures forever." Kodash Yahweh, halleluYah. Usually, a military would appoint the most powerful warriors in the front lines.
What happened here? Now when they began to sing and praise Yahweh send ambushes against the people of Ammon, Moab and Mount Syria who would come up against Judah and they were defeated and the people of, the people of Ammon and Moab stood up against the inhabitants of Mount Syria to utterly kill and destroy them. And when they made it into inhabitants of Syria they helped to destroy one another. retty amazing, so when Judah came to a place overlooking the wilderness to look toward the multitudes and there were dead bodies fallen on earth no one has escaped. How is that for power of praise and the moment that would normally be reserved for a time of fear? They chose the time of praise. Consider the magnitude of the opposition in this case and the challenges that we face in our life they really barely compares.
I can think of a couple of times in my life where I was gripped by fear. And both times I was delivered by the power of praise. Picked up my guitar and I just started singing and I was delivered from the spirit of fear. We just need to trust him. They chose not to fear men, they had the faith to put the singers out there, and say, you know what? We just gonna praise Yahweh, that's what we are gonna do. I remember one time...we first moved to Douglas County, Missouri. There we were and tornado warnings were out. We didn't even know what County we were in. We just learned from the radio, tornado warnings were out and there was lightning everywhere. We were in a mobile home and there was a storm shelter next to the mobile home. And this mighty wind came up and we just bolted into the storm shelter and you know we waited and then I got to thinking you know what, who is in control of the weather? Now I am not saying don't go to the storm shelter. I am saying okay we are in a storm shelter, we are not gonna fear, we are in Yahweh's hands. You know what we started praising and singing the song and said "I will arise and go forth in the name of Yahweh the first he will conquer every foe by his name, I will declare you are Yahweh and in you, I am not afraid. I will arise and go forth in your name" we started singing that song, we just we walked out of the storm shelter and went into the house and called it a night. This is Yahweh. Cursed is the man who trusts in man and makes flesh his strength whose heart departs from Yahweh, he shall be like a shrub in the desert and shall not see when good comes but shall inhabit the poorest places in the wilderness in the soft land which is not inhabitant. Wow! If you're putting your trust in man, Bible says you are cursed. You are cursing yourself. When I first read the scriptures I was absolutely blown away by all that there. What??? Cursed. I mean I understand it's not a good idea but to be cursed? Where are we putting our trust? There are millions of people in this world who are putting their trust in some kind of man. A pastor, a church father, some spiritual leader, someone other than the one who is really worthy of it. Some might trust a person to read this scripture for them and tell them what it says, sounds logical, sounds in accordance to what they think is right or just go along with it. Refusing to read and study the scriptures for themselves. Their heart departs from Yahweh. They are trusting in others to tell them. Trusting in men to give them the truth they want, if they want it. I say, this is early in my walk, I said, boy I want to look at the Yahweh and read the scriptures for myself and find out what it says. And so I was afraid, I mean what I saw that I make sure I know what's right, so I am telling you don't put your trust in me to tell you what bible says look for yourself. Open it and read it for yourself because I could be wrong. I pray I am not, I don't wanna be, I hope I am not. I hope every word comes out my mouth is 100 percent fact and truth but you need to seek Yahweh for you. You need to find your own Yahweh in the sense that your understanding of him based on what he is showing you and not just rely on upon one Bible teacher after another. If your search for truth consists of listening to one man after another and not just opening the word and read it for yourself and seeking to understand it. It's not the way it's supposed to be. One verse says you don't even need a man teach you, the same anointing abides in you. Yahweh can use teachers to lead you to the truth. Yahweh can use teachers to teach you what I am teaching you right now. To trust in Yahweh! How about that? Blessed is the man who trust in Yahweh in next verse, verse 7 and whose hope is Yahweh. For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, which spreads out its roots by the river and will not fear when he comes but its leaves will be green and will not be anxious in the year of drought nor will seize from yielding fruit. There is a verse very similar to this and the first chapter of the book of Psalms. In his law, he meditates day and night like a tree planted by the waters. So you want to meditate on the word of Yahweh day and night and that's why I will let, I quote a lot of scriptures probably, I don't know seventy slides of scriptures in this study because Yahweh's words are far better teacher than I am.
Blessed is the man who trusts in Yahweh. Cursed is the one, cursed is the man who trusts in man. Watch out. So let the word of Yahweh be what you zero in on because Psalms chapter 1 says in his law I meditate day and night and he is like the tree planted by the river's water. So what we really need to do is trust in Yahweh and I am hundred percent confident, anyone, who chooses to open the scriptures with the mindset of I am just going to trust Yahweh and what he tells me about himself. ne of the things you gonna come across is you need to keep the Sabbath and you need to keep his commandments. I believe everyone doing that will come to the conclusion that we have not. I don't know, look I have been in this a long time and I can tell you, in 27 years of the walk in this walk, I can tell you I have met a ton of people who, the way they came to understand the need to keep the Sabbath, wasn't through Eliyah.com, wasn't through some Bible teacher, it was through their own personal examination of the scripture. They said that, you know what, I'm just gonna forget everything I have ever been taught, I wanna open this bible up and I'm gonna read it for myself. I am gonna find what the truth is, just I am not gonna be afraid of what I find. If I have to do something radical, different or whatever, I am just gonna follow it. I am gonna follow what Yahweh tells me to do and inevitably they come across the Sabbath right there in the first chapter, second chapters of the scripture and, okay what's this about? And when you look into the scriptures it's pretty obvious. It's only tradition that will pull you away from it so my point is I can... I trust the word of Yahweh to lead you to the right place. I do. Anyone who decides to open scriptures and read for themselves, I am very confident they are gonna find this truth. And most a lot of people I have talk to that's how they found it. So, but you gotta have the mindset of Yahweh first. If you really trust in Yahweh, do you really trust in Yahweh? If so, that doesn't matter what man does, it only matters what Yahweh says. And that has to be our motto. Our eyes are not on men; our eyes are on Messiah and what the word of Yahweh says, where are we placing our trust. Down deep in our heart, Yahweh knows.
A lot of people are putting their trust in old time Christianity. It's almost like a sports team you're a Christianity fan, yeah!!! And so you're just highly impressed with Christianity and the old time preachers and, you know, the old you know, Spurgen and Wesley and Jonathan Edwards and all these guys you know where, if we maybe go back further in the seminary they teach you, oh, wow, how great these church fathers, Tortullian and Clement of Alexandria, and Jerome and all these church fathers did greatest thing ever. I say let's weed through all of that and go all the way back to the book of Acts, Paul's letters, these men inspire words scripture. All way back to the first century, what were Yahushua and his Apostles' teaching? That's all I wanna know what guys came later, I don't really care what they think. You know what Church fathers said or what some guy down the road at the local-yocal first church of the frigid air, or whatever it is down there. I don't really care because it doesn't matter what men does, it only matters is what Yahweh says. Are we placing our trust down deep in the heart? You can only answer that for yourself I can't answer it for you. You know, there are some people who, they actually come into this walk because they are mad at Christianity. They are mad at some Christian guy who did something and they find this, like, oh, okay, that's why they were acting that way they were not even believers, they were you know they were offended by these Christians and so they are, they were bitter at Christianity and so they come into this, like this is the whole new identity, whole new idea and then they come in here and they find people who don't act the way they should. They are like the wow truth can't be here because people here are not acting the way they should. I mean, they can't be doing the right thing because if these are really Yahweh's people then how can they be acting like that? Again, what does that have to do with anything?
Even if people, who you know, embrace Torah and seem to be doing all you know things that you have found to be true or whatever. They hurt you, what does that have to do with what the truth is? Again it doesn't matter what man does, it only matters what Yahweh says. So if there are people here in this local group or this fellowship, this house and they are rude and crude and unkind and they are not, they don't show the good fruits of the spirit and they are condemning and they are harsh or they got caught up in some kind of awful sin. What's that got to do with anything? Okay. Well they, they are human like you. Guess what, I bet you probably done something wrong somewhere in last week or so you probably did something wrong. If you came into this walk because someone at church hurt you and they set you on course to go find the truth there somewhere and find the true body of believers somewhere that's gonna really live this thing out. And you find people in this other group but they are not good enough. You find people in this other group but you look for this group here and they are not up to par. You know what, I just got some bad news for you but humans are humans and people are people and in my life, no one excites me more than those who call on Yahweh's name and keep the Sabbath and Torah and so on. That may come as a total shock to you, but I didn't grow up going to a church. I wasn't raised to read the bible or pray or anything. I never attended any Sunday church on my own. I think a handful of times went to a Catholic Church with my Grandma. And a couple of times a Luthern church, and I pretty much came into this walk immediately after I had given my life to the Savior. And so I did not have any negative church experiences because I barely even went to one. But listen, yeah people have hurt me, but that doesn't matter, it doesn't change what the truth is, doesn't matter what men does. My trust is not in men anyway. It's in what Yahweh says. That's got to be our motto. What somebody does to us have absolutely nothing to do with whether something they are doing is right or something they are doing is wrong. What I found is everyone else is like me.
We got some good things about us and we got some things that we need to change. And if I start peering down my nose at anybody whether they are going to Sunday church every day, every week and don't know the things I know. Whether they are attending the Sabbath service and seem to be the greatest brother in the world. If I start criticizing them and pointing a finger and go you know what they are not, they are not up to par, these other three fingers is pointing back at me and I'm not up to par either really. Yahushua is par, Yahushua is the standard and I got keep my eyes off man and what man's doing and keep my eyes on the Savior. Because He is the only perfect one there is. He is the one worthy of that. And only to the extent that somebody else is following Yahushua, his example when I look to that man I say that's a good example and I like that. I wanna do that. We live in a culture that's very man centered. And what seems important to the world is all about what man is doing? What man is up to? And what I want to introduce to you is a paradigm shift. A paradigm is a model or a place from which you are. A framework from which you were thinking.
What the world is chasing and what's different and what's so important to them, should not always be what's important to us. Don't assume you have to value what the world values or fear what they fear or pursue what they pursue or seek to hear what they wanna hear. You don't have to know all the evil things that they know or be familiar with their cultural corrupting habits and their profane colloquialisms. Don't let their paradigm and their worldview and their model and the place from which they stand and the frameworks from which they conduct their lives influence you into conforming in their ways. We have a higher calling. And we gonna rise above the frame and we are gonna point to the future far brighter than anything this world has to offer. So do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind that you may prove what that good acceptable and perfect will of Elohim is. You can't even prove what Yahweh's will is until you are transformed. And a mind renewal, a heart change, a paradigm shift to where you not man-centered, you are Yahweh centered. You are not carnally minded, you are spiritually minded. It's this world that needs to be pursuing what we have got to offer not the other way around. What they have to offer is temporary, it's vain and it's often corrupted. But what we have to offer is far far better and reaches into eternity.1st John 3:1 behold what banner of love the Father has bestowed on us that we should be called children of Elohim. Therefore the world does not know us because it did not know him. We have what's really needed by everyone to be called Yahweh's children. What we have to offer is far better. We will be in his house forever. And so yes, we will often like Messiah be rejected and considered outcast but remember what Yahushua said. If the world hates you, you know that it hated me before it hated you. Get that? If you are of the world, the world will love of its own yet because you are not of the world but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you. That's why they don't like you because you're not of them. You are not man centered. You are not; you are spiritually minded not carnally minded. So, if then you are raised with Messiah seek those things which are above. When Messiah is sitting at the right hand of the Elohim set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth, for you died. Did you get that good news? Just so you know the good news is you're dead. And your life is now heathen with Messiah and Elohim. Good news is I am dead? Yes. That's great news because now you are alive in Messiah. It's no longer you who live but Messiah living in you. It's pretty awesome news; left to yourself you will be a mess. But this is our paradigm shift, now our mind is focused on the things above. Now we are putting our trust in Yahweh, even if there are 8 million people who do certain things right and yet they are all serial murderers. Doesn't mean what they are doing right is now wrong. If nobody is doing what the bible says, does that mean they are right?
Does it matter what man does? Only matter what Yahweh says. Now I am personally convinced that the most loving, peaceable, kind and spiritful people on the earth are Torah observing believers in Yahushua, the feast we host every year convince me of that long time ago. The Ministry trip I did in 2010, we visited over 20 states, travelled 10 000 miles. I know, and you talk to and you see people's hearts. They yearn for the Most High. And they are willing to make sacrifices, in order to put Yahweh first. And to me that's precious. You see some of us have been hurt along the way by what man has said to us and done to us and how they have cast us out and some of us are hurt and that's why you see some of us being all rude because we have been mistreated. It's a wrong way to respond, we should respond with love. But we gotta grow up; we gotta mature in that area. But that's why I know, I know that's why it's happening. But we gotta put our trust in Yahweh and not what man says and I tell you what when I don't put my hopes and dreams and all my eggs in that one basket of what man says about me all of a sudden doesn't hurt so bad anymore, what man says? It just doesn't hurt so badly because I am like okay that's man for you he will get you every time you know, sorry to be so cynical but we are not perfect. So I wanna be blessed and put my hope in Yahweh and be like this tree planted by the rivers of water. HalleluYah. And when, you know, when I won't fear, when he comes, spread my roots out there by the river and drink. HalleluYah. Have the green leaf--not gonna be anxious, will not walk in fear and anxiety in times of difficulty and drought. I will keep right on yielding fruit because I'm getting my drink from the rivers of living water. HalleluYah. Years ago there was the Worldwide Church of God they were Torah observing group. I mean they were great you know a big organization; they were on TV and everything. And I don't know but Jezerah got a hold of them or what but they just went pheeeew. Didn't use the sacred name but they had some good things about them and then all these people just kind of fell away. But then out of that it was kind of revealed who was following Yahweh and who was following man. The ones who were following man were the ones who fell away. The ones who were following holding on to Yahweh were the ones who like, okay well those guys all went to the wrong direction but what they were being taught there was true and so are there anybody else out there maybe wanna stick with what we were doing before. I mean what's your heart condition?
Yahweh knows where you are at. Ask him to show your heart in this, because he says the heart is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked. Who can know it? I Yahweh search the heart I test the mind even to give to everyone every man according to his ways, according to the fruit of his dealings.
Before you say, oh, He knows my heart and use that some kind of justification to continue in some kind of sin. Remember, yes, its true Yahweh does knows your heart and maybe because of that you gotta be shaking in your shoes. I mean what are you trusting in? Your own heart? Yahweh is testing our hearts to see where we are placing our trust.
Who is just going through the motions? Watching a broadcaster, attending services and even this one? So that they don't have to go to the effort to read for scriptures for themselves and develop their own relationship with Father. You know what churches are out there where people pay big money for this reading and explaining the word of Yahweh to them. In tithes and offerings, I mean after all, if your plumbing is messed up you call the plumber. If you need help with your court system out there you call an attorney, if your car breaks down, you go to a mechanic, go to the experts, right! And so you go to the ones that know the bible to tell you what you ought to do. And the teachers say they know the Greek and Hebrew and they should know, so you just you go to them, right? Not always. Actually, I was saying only if what they tell you is according to the word, but then how do you know what or not what they are telling you is according to the word lest you find out for yourself.
The hearts are deceitful and desperately wicked and people put their trust in men and they are on this, you know, they are on this denomination or this group and there it becomes, we becomes very man-centered. And it's almost like sport teams where you got, you know you have a Kansas City Chiefs fan and you got the Saint Louis fan, and then you got all these other fans, the Baptist fans, there is the Pentecostal fans and it's like these little groups where this is a little label they put on themselves. And messianic fan now we got this going on. How does Yahushua feel I mean, If He is doing it that's what I gonna do, forget all the other stuff. I'm a Yahweh fan because I want to; I hope you do love Yahweh with all your hearts so I follow my strength. He is gonna be number one, he's got to be number one in everything you do, everything you do, every decision you make.
No one else is worthy of it. So, we are gonna ask him for wisdom. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of Elohim who gives to all liberally without reproach and it will be given to him but let him ask in faith with no doubting for he doubts, he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind but let not that man suppose he will receive anything from the Master. He is a double-minded man and unstable in all his ways he is double minded because he is asking for something but then he doesn't believe he is going to get it. So He is like what are you asking for? So ask and believe He will give you the wisdom.
And never assume that you already understood all the truth, because there is always something in the word something not good somewhere something somewhere that you could find that will lead you to even greater understanding, because really the Bible says Yahweh's' wisdom is infinite, there is no end to his wisdom there is no place where he could possibly teach you all he knows because there is no end to what he knows.
That's pretty amazing, isn't it? ut I find people you know they are not seeking Yahweh's wisdom. They are looking for an identity to be a part of that of a man-made group somewhere or you know or whatever. Listen our identity is it's no longer we who live. It's Yahushua who lives in us. If there are other people in the group that you are attending who are of that same mindset, they are the part of the body of Messiah, they are. I know years ago, years ago there was a person who had a very anti-pagan mindset. Okay, they are very anti-pagan in everything, and if a pagan did it, it couldn't possibly be right. And so they will approach this faith with that mentality. You know because of this or... And they were also anti-Christian also. When I say anti-Christian, I mean anti-traditional Christian. And, so, if something traditional Christianity was doing, then it was probably wrong was their mindset. And so they took that mentality into their study of the word. And it influenced their belief to the extent that they ended up even completely rejecting the New Testament at all and rejecting Messiah himself. And then they saw that there is pagan religions that have temples and priests and so okay, they assume well maybe that was added too to the Bible and so only Moses' words before the stuff. Ignore all the stuff about the temple or tabernacle and the sacrifices and all that. And pretty soon they end up rejecting Moses also. And pretty soon they were non-believers. That was sad to watch them just kind of go dup, dup, dup (indicating) down the steps they wen to depravity to this completely nothing. It's because they were focusing on man just because someone does it, does something whether it's right or wrong or whatever whether it's because the pagan nation in the old days they had temples and sacrifices, that doesn't mean that Yahweh didn't. I mean they were copying Yahweh, not the other way around. And just because something is in a Traditional Church somewhere doesn't mean it's wrong. Again that's man-centered mentality. Just because someone has done it, is doing it doesn't mean that it's right. Just because someone doing it doesn't mean that it's wrong. Just because someone you like is doing it doesn't mean its right, just because if someone you hate is doing it doesn't mean it's wrong. And just because someone you like is doing it don't assume anything, just trust. Doesn't matter what man does it only matters what Yahweh says. Do you see how people go astray?
Do you see how our character issues impact our doctrines?
Yahweh says it that's all that matters. He commanded there will be Priesthood; he commanded there will be a Savior born in Bethlehem. Yahushua couldn't control where he was born because he I mean and he will come and he will die for our sins, it's all predicted in the prophecy. And people point out all those other these other pagan religions they have you know Saviors and stuff and taboos and why does that matter? The word predicts Yahushua was going to die for our sins. Someone was gonna to bear the sins of the people and He was the one that was predicted to come to do that. But they will take their anti-Christian and their anti-New Testament mentality into the study of the prophets and it all go downhill from there. It didn't matter what you told them. They were bitter at what they have been, have been lied to by mainline Christians, who had been lied to and they will bitter and they were never gonna like anything that they were previously liking because they are bitter and they are angry. Part of bitterness. Watch out. Many are defiled by it. So let's seek Yahweh. I have had many people come to me and said you know what, it says in the bible, my people are destroyed for lack of knowledge, just because they don't know what I am about to tell you because you don't know I am about to tell you. People were destroyed, okay what is it? And they pointed out if nothing to do with the bible, it might be because of some conspiracy website they read this is gonna happen and so the people are destroyed and that's not what this verse is talking about it. Hosea 6, 4:6, my people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. It's true. Because you have rejected knowledge; I also reject you from me, peace from me. Talking about the priesthood here because you have forgotten the Law of your Elohim. I also will forget your children huh because you forgot the Law. That's the place from knowledge is supposed to come, not from some conspiracy website where people are gonna die in two years or two months because they don't know about this thing that the Government is doing somewhere. Again it's all men centered garbage, let's focus on the Law of our Elohim. Let's not forget it. Let it be your meditation. Many teachers today will teach you to turn away from the words of Elohim, the Law of Elohim and, of course, there is a void. You are going to follow what they say. Yahushua, as he sat on the Mount of Olives the disciple's cm to him privately saying Mathew 24:3, tell us when these things be and what will be the sign of your coming in the end of the age? Yahushua answered them and said take heed that no one deceives you. Now, there is only one way someone can deceive you, is if you are taking what they say over what Yahweh says. First thing out of his mouth. What happened in the Garden of Eden? Yahweh said you will surely die, dying you shall die. Satan came along and said you won't actually die. Who are we going to believe? Take heed no one will deceive you. You have to have a familiarity with Yahweh's word. Start opening that book and start studying it brothers and sisters. You are gonna have to know it because they may take away your Bible one day, your little smartphone with a little bible app on it and you're gonna have to have this in your heart during these years of plenty because in the years of famine ahead, you may not have access to it like you do now. I don't know what does gonna happen, I'm just saying, get studying. Be a Joseph and store up for the end of years of planning get that. Word in your heart get familiar with it. It's so easily accessible because one of the signs of the end times is; take heed that no one deceives you but unless you are familiar with the word of Elohim, you are acceptable to being deceived.
Don't forget the Law of Elohim. There should always be a healthy amount of dissatisfaction with your current spiritual condition because that means we are yearning to
be corrected, we are yearning to change, we are yeaning to be more and more like Yahushua every day. A healthy dissatisfaction with our current spiritual state. An unhealthy one would be, I will never measure up, I will never make it, I will never be good enough for him to accept me, well he has already accepted you. But you should always be in steroid repentance, be pursuing righteousness and seeking to be transformed, seeking to be conformed to Yahweh and his image, not the image of the world. So a healthy amount of dissatisfaction with your current spiritual condition so that we can seek growth and go beyond what we are today. Again Yahweh doesn't look at you and say well "you are imperfect, you are not gonna make it." He looks at us and says what do you wanna be now, where do you wanna grow? Do you wanna improve? Do you want to be more like my son, Yahushua? Do you want to allow him to do the work in you? You know what he has done, what Yahushua has done for you, are you willing to accept what he wants to do in you? That's what he is looking for those who will pursue righteousness when you read the word. It's not time to sit back in easy chairs and let others seeking for us we have to be truth seekers. We have to be truth seekers. Sought for your self righteousness. It was Hosea 10 verse 12, reap and mercy, sow for yourselves righteousness, reap and mercy. Recognize you are looking for righteousness to be sown in your heart but also know there is mercy available but break up your fallow ground. It's time to seek Yahweh till he comes and reigns righteousness on you. You have ploughed wickedness you have reaped iniquity you have eaten the fruit of lies because you trusted in your own way and the multitude of your mighty man, he said. It's time to break up the fallow ground, and seek Yahweh to he comes and reigns righteousness on you. I was singing that song this morning in my head. I didn't know it was in this study. So, Yahweh wants to know in whom you will place your trust. For those who are watching the broadcast, you are looking for someone you can trust?
Do not put your trust in man? Don't put your trust me. Put your trust in Yahweh. Don't even trust your spouse completely, your parents or any man. Man will let you down, Yahweh will not.
I talked to people all the time people would say "all my life people fraud me, all my life people let me down, oh no kidding."
So I tell him look brother, look sister first thing I say to you one thing to help you keep in check and that is, yes, man's gonna hurt you, it's gonna happen not I'm not trying to be cynical. We shouldn't hurt each other. I'm not saying that, you know, you can't have any trust at all in the sense of this guy is driving the car. I don't know if I trust him to drive the car or not, I am not saying like. Your trust ultimately is in Yahweh. I am not saying you be suspicious of your spouse are gonna cheat on you every day. That's not the kind of stuff I am talking about. I am saying even if your spouse did cheat on you every day, your ultimate hope is in Yahweh, not what man does. And so you have him to fall back on. You have him as your ultimate place from which you are getting what you need. And putting trust in Yahweh helps me to be merciful toward others because I know we are still not perfected yet. And so when people hurt us, it doesn't hurt so bad when you're not really putting all your eggs, all your hopes and all your dreams and everything in what man does. All your eggs in one basket, I should say. So, what about us? You know I thought I can't even trust myself, that's pretty bad, isn't it? Because the scriptures says, seek Yahweh while he may be found, call upon him while he is near. He who trusts in his own heart is a fool. Ouch. If you wanna be a fool just trust your own heart all the time, it will guide you everywhere you need to go. So whoever walks wisely will be delivered walking wisely means you are gonna follow the wisdom of Yahweh. And then you will be delivered.
If you trust your own heart, your heart is, you know, desperately wicked and you are a fool. I have heard so many people say, wel,l I am just gonna follow my own heart in this. Wait a minute put a red flag here. Don't trust it, how about you following Yahweh and you follow his spirit? That's who you can put your trust. Don't trust your own heart, seek Yahweh while he may be found, call upon him while he is near. That's who you wanna trust. If you want to walk in wisdom, start with the fear of Yahweh. That's the beginning of wisdom, Psalms 111 verse 10. A good understanding of all those who do his commandments. His praise endures forever. So when we do his commandments, when we are seeking that wisdom, putting our trust in Yahweh like a child, and you seek that wisdom, you will be strengthened. Proverbs 24 verse 5, a wise man is strong yes, a man of knowledge increases strength.
For by wise counsel you wage your own war in a multitude of councilors there is safety. So if you are seeking wisdom, you are also seeking a way to be strong because a wise man is strong. Yahweh is the one who gives power to us who rather was weak and we have no mighty Yahweh will increase our strength as we begin to let the word of Yahweh, let the spirit of Yahweh be what we follow not our own heart, but Yahweh. When you are more awesome than your holy places, The Elohim of Israel is he who gives strength and power to his people, blessed be Elohim, Psalms 68:35. I like that scripture, he is more awesome than any holy place he ever put on the earth.
He wants to give you strength, he wants to give you the power to walk out what he asked you to walk out. And so trust in him, those who do his commandments will have a good understanding. Doesn't matter how many times you tell them, certain people are just gonna go their own way. Put the circumstances, the events that take place because you are not putting your trust in Yahweh. There are many women out there today, 1st Peter 3 verse 1, and what does it say? Husband doesn't obey the word; put your trust in Yahweh. Don't try to fix it yourself and it's without a word win them by your good conduct.
Good conduct will speak volumes. And so man unlike man that won holly woman of all, they trusted in Elohim being submissive to their husbands like Abraham called, as Sarah called Abraham Lord. She trusted in Yahweh that was her adornment.
See this is when trust really has some shoe leather attached to it, in terms of our walk. Religious people of Yahushua's day they mocked him, he had to suffer sometimes. He had to go through difficulty, especially at the end. It was sad that the very ones who put him to death, mocked him for not being delivered, but he put his trust in Elohim. And no I am not saying ladies you have to live with physical you know abusive husband. I am saying even if your husband is not obeying the word just trust in Yahweh, trust.
He is worthy of your trust.
Yahushua said, my Elohim, my Elohim, why have you forsaken me? Why are you so far from helping me and from the words of my groaning, oh my Elohim, I cry in the daytime but you do not hear? And in the night season, I am not silent but you are wholey thrown in the presence of his room.
Yahushua quoted this Psalm when he was hanging on the tree but look where he is now. Wow. Our fathers trusted in you, they trusted you delivered them, they cried to you and were delivered, they trusted in you were not ashamed. But I am aware of it, no man a reproached man and despised by the people.
See Yahushua remembered those who trusted in Yahweh and they were delivered. Brothers and sisters, I call upon you to remember, remember many people down through the ages. This is one of the blessings of reading the scriptures, they put their trust in Yahweh and they were delivered, they were.
Chief Priest are all saying oh he save himself, himself he can't save, that's true. All that you and I might live, Yahushua had to die. He died for the very people that were killing him, wow.
The thing Yahushua said all thought is being given to me in heaven and earth go there for my disciples of all nations baptize in the name of fathers son and the holy spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you and know I am with you always, even to the end of the age. Here we are at the end of the age brothers and sisters. We need to teach all nations and make them disciples and taught ones. What are we teaching them? The things that Yahushua commanded. We are called to trust like Messiah trusted; we are not just called to illustrate the Messiah's life through keeping the commandments and the Torah and things like that. We are talking about trusting like Yahushua trusted. Laying down our lives as he laid down his life. That means our desires, our demand, our own preferences even our own lives are secondary because our eyes are on the spiritual things. When something is spiritual, the right thing to do, the path of growth, the path of righteousness, we need to do it. When you are making decisions of what you're going to do next ask yourself this, what is going to provide the best spiritual benefit?
And he will direct your paths.
In whom did David place his trust when he fought Goliath? Swords, Armour? When the Philistines looked at that and saw David as a stand down for he was a youth, ruddy and good looking, so the Philistines said to David. Am I a dog, that you come to me with sticks? And the Philistines cursed David by his gods and the Philistines said to David, come to me and I will give your flesh to the birds of the air and the beasts of the field.
Where was David's mind? It was not in the flesh, the Philistine was looking at was the flesh. He saw a young man David and he said I will give your flesh to the birds, carnally minded. David looked the spiritual he says "you come to me with sword and spear with a javelin but I come to you in the name of Yahweh of hosts, the Elohim of the armies of Israel whom you have defied.
His mindset was on heaven above not on the earth beneath. He trusted in Yahweh and he prevailed. Didn't look where he was going to if you look at the size of two men. Those who were looking at the natural thought for sure this guy, he is not gonna make it.
And the people who killed Yahushua thought for sure, okay, Messiah is dead secure the tomb; He can't influence the people no more. Wrong. The greatest work that could ever have been done happened when Yahushua died for us. That we were spared from damnation. Psalms 119 verse 41 says, Yahushua is looking to the spiritual benefit here, not to his own personal comfort. And that's what we need to look to, what's the spiritual benefit? May not be my personal comfort but what's the spiritual benefit? That's the most important question.
Psalms 119 verse 41, your mercies come also to me oh Yahweh, your salvation according to your word, so shall I have an answer for him who reproaches for me for I trust in your word. We can trust in Yahweh's word and don't take not the word of truth utterly out of my mouth, for I have hoped in your ordinances. One of the most beautiful things about Yahweh's word is, it's a place for ours that we are putting our hope in it, our trust in it because it's the word of Yahweh. Everything that happened to poor Job, the man who was shamed and falsely accused and mocked and inflicted and ridiculed, didn't matter. He said though he slay me still I gonna trust in him. I wanna show you why one reason why we can trust the word. We are gonna get more into this here in the coming weeks. It says take not the word of truth only out of my mouth, for I have hoped in your ordnances.
Look at what they discovered, 1979, took them three years to unroll this silver scroll and it actually contained a text found in the Bible. It's dated the 6th century BC, is called the Ketef Hinnom scroll and it reads this, 2600 years old and says, may Yahweh bless you and keep you. May Yahweh make his face shine upon you and grant you peace because there is no other faith in the world that compares to anything like this? Scientifically, historically and spiritually the accuracy of the scriptures and so when you're reading things like this, I trust in your word. I have an answer for the one that reproaches me, I trust in your word, Oh Yahweh please don't take the word of truth out of my mouth, I have hope in the ordinances, why? Because they are sure and they are solid. And we can trust in the scriptures and the word of Yahweh. Here is a 2600-year-old quote from the bible and the same thing we can read today. Yahweh bless you and keep you. Yahweh makes his facial upon you, his graces to you. Yahweh has his face shine upon you and gives you peace. It was shortened to fit on the scroll but the words are the same, beautiful. e will be talking about this in coming weeks. Brothers and sisters, we can trust in the word of Yahweh. Psalms 13 verse 3, consider and hear me oh Yahweh my Elohim, enlighten my eyes, lest I sleep this sleep of death thus my enemy say, my enemies say, I prevailed against him, those who trouble me rejoice when I am moved because I trusted in your mercy. My heart shall rejoice in your salvation. You can trust in the mercy of Yahweh if you're pursuing righteousness and you ask forgiveness, he is willing to give you that trust it. Believe it. Job wondered, why I did not die at birth he was so miserable, poor brother. Why did I not perish when I came from the womb, why did the nurse receive me, why the breast that I should nurse for now I would have lain still, and been quiet, I would have been asleep then I would have been at rest?
He always wanted to know why? Yahweh didn't really give him a straight answer. Yahweh's answer was "excuse me Job, but where were you when I laid the foundation of the earth, tell me if you have an understanding. Sometimes Yahweh's ways are so much higher, so much greater, we may not understand and comprehend everything. Why it's doing, what's going on? I mean can you explain to a two-year-old how a computer works? No. They don't have the mental capability. And sometimes Yahweh's understanding of things is beyond our ability to really understand anyway, so we just have to trust. As the Psalmist did 131, Yahweh my heart is not heavy, nor my eyes laughing nor do I concern myself with great matters or things too profound for me. Surely I have calmed and quieted my soul like a weaned child with his mother like a weaned child is my soul within me. Oh yes alright, I hope in Yahweh from this time forth and forever. You know our children don't demand to have an understanding in order to believe that we love them and care about them and they are safe. And we can be like a weaned child with his mother, this trust, just trust. He is got us taken care of. He is the rock, his work is perfect for all his ways are just and Elohim of truth and without injustice to the righteous and upright is He. Deuteronomy 34 verse 4. We can only see what's in our media locally, Yahweh sees everything and He sees the future. Something that in our own human reasoning may not seem right, don't assume because you don't understand it somehow it's wrong, somehow it's a mess. Don't require yourself to understand before you trust. Trust and then Yahweh may give you the understanding. I have heard that happen many times in my life, so you walk after Yahweh your Elohim and you fear him, you keep his commandments and obey his voice shall serve him and hold fast to him. Everything else will fall into place where it needs to go. Seek the paths of Yahweh, seek his righteousness, pray for wisdom, trust in what he says, and obey him, doubting nothing, trusting in him. Fearing him, departing from evil, acknowledging him in everything, putting him first. Seeking humility, seeking wisdom and believing in him that no matter what situation we are in or how long we are in it, Yahweh is worthy of our trust. We do what the word Yahweh says even for the last person on the face of the earth doing it, even if we don't understand why? Yahweh is in control. And Yahweh will keep you in perfect shalom, peace.
If our mind is staying on him because we trust in him, from whom comes everlasting strength, trust in Yahweh forever for Yahweh is everlasting strength. I am boasting in Yahweh today because he is worthy of it. How precious is your loving kindness? Psalms 36 verse 7, for Elohim, therefore, the children of men put their trust in the shadow of your wings. They were abundantly satisfied with the fullness of your house and you give them drink from the river of your pleasures. For with you is the fountain of life. In your light, we see light. Psalms 62 verse 10, do not trust oppression nor vainly hope in robbery if riches increases do not set your heart on them. Elohim has spoken once; twice I have heard this that power belongs to Elohim. 1st Timothy 6 verse 17, command those who are rich in this present age not to be haughty but not to trust in uncertain riches but in living Elohim who gives us richly all things to enjoy. But the danger of riches is we begin trust in the riches.
Proverbs 13 verse 7, there's one who makes themselves rich, yet has nothing and one who makes himself poor, yet has great riches.
I hope you understand that. Proverbs 23 verse 4, do not overwork to be rich because of your own understanding sees where you set your eyes on that which is not. For riches certainly, make themselves wings they fly away like an evil eagle toward heaven.
A lot of people who lived as I long as I have found that to be very true.
Mark 10 verse 23, Yahushua looked around and says how hard it is for those who have riches to enter the kingdom of Elohim? Why? Because they tempt you to put yourself first in every decision you make and you just kind of gives self-centered and make excuses for your selfishness, self-serving activities that puts confidence in men and you have riches to bail you out if necessary rather than Yahweh, Yeah.
One makes himself rich has nothing? One makes himself poor yet has great riches. You are my hope oh master Yahweh; you are my trust from my youth. By you I have been upheld from birth, you are the one who set me from my mother's womb, my praise shall continually be of you. Psalms 9 verse 10, those who know your name, will put their trust in you, for you, Yahweh have not forsaken those who seek you. 2nd Corinthians 1 verses 9-10, yes we have a sentence of death on ourselves that we should not even trust ourselves, but in Elohim who raises the dead, who deliver us from so greater death and does deliver us in whom we trust, he will still deliver us, see no matter what happens? Don't even trust yourself. As Job said, though you slay me, I still don't trust him. Psalms 32 verse 10. Many sorrows shall be to the wicked but he would trust in Yahweh, mercy shall surround him. Brothers, we need that right there, we need lots of mercy. I don't know about you but I will need all the mercy I can get on the Day of Judgment.
Psalms 37 verse 39 but the salvation of the righteous is from Yahweh, he is their strength in the time of trouble and Yahweh shall help them and deliver them, he shall deliver them from the wicked and save them because they trust in Him.
You wonder will Yahweh help me. Will he deliver me? It may depend on whether you trust him or not. If you think he will, he will. If you think he won't, he may not. He will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is steady on you. But let all those who put their trust in you, let them ever shout for joy because you defend them. Let those also who love your name be joyful in you. For you are Yahweh who bless the righteous with favor you shall surround him as with a shield.
Trust in Yahweh and do good while on the land and feed on his faithfulness. Delight yourself also in Yahweh and he shall give you the desires of your heart. Oh, many people wanna accord this, "oh, he will give me the desires of my heart? Oh yeah, that means I get what I want" Wow, wait a minute. First, you delight yourself in Yahweh, also trust in Yahweh and do good. Fear his faithfulness and all of a sudden what's gonna happen is, your desires are gonna start matching with his desires. Your ways are gonna get matching up with his ways because you delight yourself in his ways. And your desires will actually change to righteous desires. And then yes, but not until then. Scripture gives an analogy or an allegory of what someone who trusts in Yahweh is like. Psalms 125 verse 1, those who trust in Yahweh are like Mount Zion which cannot be moved but abides forever. As the mountain surrounds Jerusalem, so Yahweh surrounds his people from this time forth and forever. For the scepter of wickedness shall not rest on the land alloted to the righteous. Lest the righteous reach out their hands to iniquity. The ruler of this world will one day be no more. There will no longer be a scepter of wickedness. Because this earth was allotted for the righteous and so we are gonna put our trust in Yahweh and we will not be moved. They will be removed. Not us. And all the things they are trying to hope for, all the nations of the world that we think they are trying to build. This earth is not going to be their permanent home. This earth is our home until the day comes when Yahweh creates a new heaven and a new earth. If we would abide in eternal life we need to put our trust in Yahweh because there is no one else like Yahweh, who is even close to being worthy of our trust. He is the most powerful being in the universe. Who else could possibly be more worthy of our trust? I'm going to tell you. Remember where Yahushua is today. He put his trust in Yahweh. Follow his example. In good times, rough times, gladness, sadness, sickness, health, good days, bad days, sad days, every day put your trust in Yahweh, for then his reward will reach you. And then will see his face and then will see all along, Yahweh was worthy of our trust. And he always will be. Let's pray; Our Father Yahweh, thank you for your word. Thank you for your promises. We praise you for your goodness and Father forgive us, for we have not allowed your word to take root in our hearts and if we have failed in our faith toward you and our trust toward you.
Strength us, Father, as your people, let us pursue Father your righteousness. Guard us against the dangers of trusting in men, putting our hope in what men does or says, we want to trust you. We want to put our faith completely in you.
Because you are awesome, you are Elohim and there is no other. For truly yours is the kingdom and power and glory and majesty, and our praise, honor and worship belongs to you. Yahweh Elohim, Yahweh almighty one forever and ever in Yahushua's great name we pray, Amein
