Loving Yahweh with His Love Language
05/27/17 (03/01) Video Broadcast

Study
We are ready to begin the
study portion of today's
broadcast.
I want to mention first of
all that we are not going
to have a comments and
questions period of...
because we normally
do take comments and
questions, as I will be
attending a conference
here in Ava, but we are
going to share the study
portion.
And the study portion
of today's broadcast is
regarding the most
important commandment of
all, the most important
concept that there is
anywhere in scripture.
And that is this; Loving
Yahweh.
Loving Yahweh with
His love language.
Have you ever heard
of love languages?
Different people might
have different love
languages. Yahweh has
his love language also.
Of course, the language
he inspired the
scriptures to be
written in, is Hebrew.
But that's not really what
I'm talking about. I'm
talking about loving him
in a way that he receives
love.
There is a popular concept
out there today that
each of us have a love
language. We have... Some
receive love through
physical touch and
affection, others through
acts of service, and
there's up to I think 5
love languages out there
that people talk about,
different things, you know,
gifts or ways of
expressing love, positive
affirmation.
You know, when Yahweh gave
us the Torah the law, the
commandments, he listed
them in a certain way and
I think that if you really
study them you may find
out that the way he
wants to be loved is not
necessarily the way that
is commonly thought to be
the way he wants
to be loved.
We talked last week about
the importance of the love
of the brethren. But you
know as the world sees our
love for one another, they
also need to see something
else. That we love Yahweh.
1 John 5 in verse 2 says, by
this, we know that we love
the children of Elohim,
when we love Elohim and
keep his commandments.
So you cannot even love
anyone else unless you
first love Elohim.
You can't love your wife,
you can't love your
friend, you can't love
any other human being
unless you first
love Elohim.
And by this, we know that
we love the children of
Elohim, when we love Elohim
and keep his commandments.
If you do not keep his
commandments and you do
not love Elohim, you
cannot love anybody else
Impossible,
scripturally speaking.
So an important part of
loving our brother is
manifesting a true and
genuine love for Yahweh, even...
You see if that's absent,
you don't really love our
Father in heaven. Then you
are not being the proper
light to your friend,
to your wife, to your
children, to your
relatives, to your
parents, to your
brothers and sisters.
You are not being the kind
of light that they need
and you are failing
to love them.
The first and greatest commandment, as we all should know called the Shema, Hear, O Israel, Yahweh our Elohim Yahweh is one. Many people are familiar with this passage, Shema Israel, Yahweh Elohim, Yahweh Echad, and the passage to follow is the most important commandment in all scripture, you shall love Yahweh with, some of your heart? You know half your soul and half your strength? No, with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength. Are we doing that, are we? Are we serving him and loving him half-heartedly? Like we're number one, and he's somewhere else he's like not even there. Important question. And only you can answer that,.I'm not judging anybody. Deuteronomy 10:12-13 Now Israel, what does Yahweh your Elohim require of you, but to fear Yahweh your Elohim, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, to serve Yahweh your Elohim with all your heart and with all your soul. And to keep the commandments of Yahweh and his statutes which I command you today, for your good. It's for your benefit that you love Yahweh. It's for your good, do you? I hope so, I hope I do, I hope we all do. Deuteronomy 30:1 through 3, now it shall come to pass, when all these things come upon you, the blessing and the curse, which I have set before you, and you call them to mind among all the nations, where Yahweh your Elohim drives you and you return to Yahweh your Elohim and obey his voice, according to all that I command you today, you and your children with all your heart, and with your soul that Yahweh your Elohim will bring you back from captivity, and have compassion on you and gather you again from all nations where Yahweh your Elohim has scattered you. Now Yahweh loves us. In a great and awesome way he loves us. But look here he says in Deuteronomy 30, this is a prediction of the future. He speaks of a time when Israel would be scattered as a result of disobedience. Is that not the case right now? Much of Israel is scattered, there are some that are in the land, but now much of Israel is scattered. Has Yahweh really brought them back, has he? Much of Israel is scattered and so, he says. If you return to Shuva, repent, return, obey his voice he'll gather you again from all nations where he scattered you.
Now the ultimate fulfillment of this gathering is a new covenant fulfillment.
If any of you are driven out to the furthest parts of the heaven, from there Yahweh your Elohim will gather you and from there he will gather you, he will bring you then Yahweh your Elohim will bring you to the land which you're Fathers possessed and you shall possess it. He shall prosper you, and multiply you more than your fathers and Yahweh your Elohim will circumcise your heart. And the heart of your descendants to love Yahweh your Elohim with all your heart, with all your soul that you may live. You can't love him without a circumcised heart.
It's a circumcised heart that brings about love for Yahweh. A closed heart, an uncircumcised heart is not receptive to the things of Elohim. An open heart, a circumcised heart is receptive to the things of Elohim.
This idea of circumcision of the heart goes all the way back to the Torah. It's not a New Testament concept that just popped up you know, with the teachings of Paul. This is an old teaching. We receive this circumcision of the heart ultimately though, through the Messiah Yahushua. Colossians 2:11, In him you were also circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, by putting off the body the sins of the flesh, by the circumcision of Messiah, putting of the body the sins of the flesh, buried with him in baptism in which you were also raised with him through faith and the working of Elohim who raised him from the dead, and you being dead in your trespasses in the uncircumcision of your flesh, he has made you alive together with him having forgiven you all trespasses.
That's a beautiful circumcision Yahweh wants to give us, putting off the body the sins of the flesh so it's act of putting on the new man and putting off the old that reflects this result of turning back to Yahweh, granting us eternal life and the incorruptible nature of Yahushua the Messiah will now dwell in us enabling us to do what he said to truly love Yahweh with all of our hearts, all of our soul and all heart everything, everything about us. Most of us know about the great commandment in scripture, Yahushua said, it was said to Yahushua "teacher which is the great commandment in the law?" Yahushua said to him "you shall love Yahweh your Elohim with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind" This is the first and great commandment and the second is like it, you shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments hang all the law on the Prophets.
Now I think some today have kind of taken a set of bolt-cutters and removed the law and the Prophets from the two commandments from which they hang. And suggested that the two great commands somehow replaced the others, but they don't. The other commandments are demonstrations, practical demonstrations of how we love Yahweh and how we love one another. Suppose we have 30 children in a room and so we told, everyone will love each other, you think everything will just be fine, but then pretty soon within a day or two some ground rules will gonna have to come up to explain what love really is, and what it really isn't. That's true of their love for one another and it's also true of our love for Yahweh. Yahweh knows we have a wandering heart, a heart that can be deceptive and wicked in its core, and we need his word to correct us and direct us, to a more correct way and more loving way, that otherwise, would not want to follow. And that to the keeping of commandments. 1 John 5, 2-3, by this we know we love the children of Elohim, when we love Elohim he keeps his commandments. For this is the love of Elohim that we keep his commandments. And you know what? Contrary to what some may tell you, his commandments are not burdensome.
The only way they can be burdensome is if the flesh is alive and well in your mind, in your heart. But through the Messiah Yahushua, we put off the deeds of the body, the deeds of the flesh, and now we are circumcised and able to love Yahweh and therefore able to keep his commandments and not be burdened by them, but to love them. Yahushua says "he who has my commandment and keeps them, it is he who loves me". Same, one and the same you got the commandments you keep them, then you love him.
And he who loves me will be loved by my father and I will love him and I will manifest myself to him. If you want Yahweh's Messiah to manifest to you and you want him to love you and the Father to love you, keep his commandments and love him simple. We love him, he loves us. And therefore we are going to love commandments, we are not gonna hate them. ou can't love Yahweh and hate the commandments at the same time. You can't say you love Yahushua who is the Word became flesh and dwelled among us and then not really care for the word itself. If you love Yahushua, you will love the commandments and the scriptures, and the laws, you will like them, you'll want them, you want to know them, because you want to know what Yahushua live like and you want to live just like him because you admire him and you are impressed by him.
If you wanna know what Yahushua is like, just read the commandments, apply them to your life, he is the embodiment of those commandments. If you want to know how to love our Father in heaven, look at what Yahushua did. But you know there are a lot of religious people out there today who, they like to follow rules to impress others but they don't care so much for the giver of those rules. Pharisees were that way, they'd quote scripture they thought they knew the rules, but they didn't, they didn't know the ruler, they knew the rules but not the ruler. It has to be out of love, not out of showmanship, not out of pride, not out of "look at me." What that is, is just loving yourself without loving Yahweh. But you know you'll never get the reaction you are hoping for when you quote Yahweh's commandments. Some people will hate you and some people will love you. It's not you, really that they love or they hate, it's the word that you are quoting that they either love or they hate. That's why you can quote scripture to the atheists all day long and not get the reaction that you hoped. The atheist does not care what Yahweh says because he doesn't want to believe in his existence, much-less love him. You can quote scripture to a lukewarm believer and they won't react the way you hope either. OH with their mouths, they can claim to love him but their heart, they don't really care what Yahweh has to say, they just want to live and do things their own way. Yahushua was dealing with those kinds of people in the first century he said, Pharisee's and scribes asked him, why do your disciples not walk according to the tradition of the elders, but eat bread with unwashed hands? Why do they do this, you don't like the elders? He answered and said to them well, did Isaiah prophesy of you hypocrites as it is written these people honour me with their lips, but their heart, they are not loving Yahweh with their heart, their heart is far from me and in vain, they worship me. All their worship means nothing, means absolutely nothing, it's vain, shouldn't even bother, shouldn't even bother worshipping him, if you are going to teach his doctrines, the commandments of men, why bother? You are just going to teach people the commandments of men, nothing to do with the commandments of Yahweh. You going to teach people your own way of loving Elohim? Then you don't love Elohim, honor him with your lips but your heart is not with him. You see they are more interested in love of self, the creation of traditions in commandments that were not in the Holy Scriptures, cause the hearts of men to focus on man's words, man's doctrines, man's ideas, man's way of doing things. The same is happening today, even at the pulpit. Preachers produce sermons which contain maybe one or two verses from the bible and then there are hours' worth of commentary. Who's being exalted here? The word of Yahweh or the abilities and ideas and doctrines of the speaker? Now I realize someone can receive a message from the spirit which is biblical and which is right and that's all well and good. But Yahushua said, "He who speaks from his own seeks his own glory". When I look at the apostles and the things that they were doing, they were very focused on the word of Yahweh. Why?
Yahushua warned them, he said, "the Pharisees they lay aside the commandment of Elohim, and hold the traditions of men, washing of pitchers and cups: and many other things you said you do" . He said, Oh, well, you reject the commandments of Elohim that you may keep your own tradition, your own way of doing things, your own ideas about how to love Yahweh. So, the apostles they went out and spread the word of Elohim. Acts 6:7, The word of Elohim, spread the word of Elohim, spread, and the number of disciples multiplied greatly in Jerusalem and in a great many of the priests were obedient to the faith. Acts 12:24, But the word of Elohim grew and was multiplied. Acts 17:10, And the brethren immediately sent Paul and Silas away by night to Berea: when they arrived they went to the synagogue of the Jews. These were more fair minded than those in Thessalonica, and that they received the word with all readiness and searched the scriptures daily, to find out whether these things were so. The scriptures were what determined whether or not they had the truth. Acts 19:20, So the word of Yahweh grew mightily and prevailed. Their focus was on the word of Yahweh being spread, that was their focus they wanted to see the word of Yahweh go out and do its work. They were, just mailman, delivery boys sharing what Yahweh had to say. Now religious denominations of the first century, they were focused on the words and the doctrines of men. And setting aside he said all too well you reject the commandment of Elohim, that you may keep your tradition, laying aside the commandment of Elohim, he said. In vain you worship me, he said, teaching the doctrines the commandments of men, you own ways of showing love to the father, he said. What do we do with this? let's imitate the apostles who were more focused on proclaiming the words of Yahweh then they were their own words. And if anyone will claim to be proclaiming the word of Yahweh... Let's be like those who were in Berea and search the scriptures daily to find out whether these things are really so.
This is all a part of loving Yahweh. See, if you love someone, you want to hear what they have to say. Part of loving Yahweh is loving his word, If you claim to love your wife or you claim to love your husband but then whenever they spoke you didn't bother even caring what they had to say, you just tuned them out and ignore them. Or, your children came to you, and you just ignore them. Can you really say you love them? If you claim to love a person but you never listen to them, instead you listen to others, you spend all your time with you being the one talking all the time, and very little listening, can you really say you love them? If you love someone you care about them, you care about what they have to say. If you love someone you are interested in their thoughts, their hopes, their dreams, their desires. If you love someone with biblical love you're putting them ahead of yourself. And so may I ask you this question, who do we spend most our time listening to? The voice of Elohim or the voice of men? Who do we put first,? Do we have a passion to hear the voice of Yahweh? Or not so much what he has to say, we're really interested in what this preacher, that preacher, that person, this person, this friend, this song, this whatever? Let's take a closer look here at the first and greatest commandment. It says "you shall love Yahweh with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength". This word "strength" has to do with muchness, everything you got. These words I command you today shall be in your heart, you shall teach them diligently to your children and you shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down and when you rise up. A very word, a very Scripture centered household is what he's after, that's what he wants. He says "you shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes, you shall write them on the door posts of your house, and on your gates" He says "surround yourself with my words, and let those words overflow and fill the hearts of your children".
Because you love him, see. You shall love Yahweh your Elohim with all your heart and then he says since his words are in your heart they are gonna be taught to your children, they are gonna be like frontlets between your eyes and like something on your hand all the time.
Gonna write them on your door posts of your house, on your gates because you love the word, you just love it, because you love Yahweh. If ever you want to inspect the fruit of somebody who professes to be a believer one of the things you can look for as determining their sincerity, is do they really love the word?
If you don't love the word, you can't love the giver of it. If you love the word, it's a sign that you have a relationship with Yahweh. Relationships consist of communication, without communication there is no relationship. You can sit next to a person for a hundred years, but until you communicate with them whether a verbal or nonverbal something, there is no relationship. We enter into a relationship when we communicate with the Father and we hear his communication to us. We hear his words by hearing the scriptures, we then speak to him through prayer, a relationship is born. And so if you want a relationship with the father how often should you listen to his voice? How many minutes per week do you seek his voice? How often do you actually listen to him?
If you love Yahweh, you will want to hear what he has to say, you'll speak to him it's a two-way street. The scriptures says he who turns away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer is an abomination. People wonder why their prayers don't get answered. If you don't want to hear what Yahweh has to say, if you don't care to hear what he has to say, why should he care what you have to say? It's a two-way street. It goes both ways. If you don't want to hear what Yahweh has to say, then he finds what you have to say to be an abomination. If his words, you do not want them to take root in your mind, in your mind, in your heart, okay no problem, except he won't hear you either. James 4:8, Draw near to Elohim and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands you sinners; purify your hearts, you double minded. Strong words here, I mean strong words, I admit. It's simple though. Now it's important to understand that principle that we should love Yahweh, but underneath that principle is a very important question. Why, why do we love Yahweh?
Is it because he commands, "you love me or else"?
Is it because "I'm going to send you to hell if you don't love me"? Is it because he's selfish and demands our attention?
Why should we love him? Ask yourself that question, do you only love him because you are afraid of what will happen if you don't? My goodness, I hope not. magine for a moment, you haven't had any food to eat for six days, you were so hungry and everyone around you didn't one bit that you are starving. They just went about their business and then a total stranger comes along and with his truck gives you an entire month supply worth of food.
How would you feel about that person?
I mean, I'm sure you will be so thankful, you would want to know more about who they are, who's this guy? He just gave me all this food like man, whenever you are in a jam I would love to help you too, right? It will be like, you wanna help him, you wanna do something for him. I'm sure you'll be so appreciative you'd say "hey, anything I can do for you just at my earliest opportunity I will do it." Maybe you'd ask them if they need anything, maybe you go work for them, go fix their car, do something for them, wash their..., wash their car, do something for them, bless them in some way. That's all easy to understand in the natural, but I have a question; what about Yahweh? He didn't just give you a month supply worth of food, he gave you everything you have, he made you in the first place, he feeds you every single day. Psalms 145, verse 14 says Yahweh upholds all who fall and rises up all who are bowed down. The eyes of all who look expectantly to you and you give them their food in due season. You open your hand and satisfy the desire of every living thing.
He is the one who is supplying everything there is a supply for you, and the fact is he loves you more than any human being on this earth ever could. In fact, he loved you before you even were born before you ever loved him, he loved you. He is the stranger who came in and offers to come in and supply not just a month worth of food, but every single need you have. He is the one who is responsible for every good thing you have ever had in your entire life. He made you. Know that Yahweh, he is Elohim it is he who has made us and not we ourselves, goodbye evolution, you didn't make yourself.
We are his people and we are the sheep of his pasture. We actually belong to him, we don't even own ourselves, but you might act like you do but you don't. He is the one that, even though we may have disregarded him and abused his grace, he still loved us enough to offer his only son to die for us. Now some might say "well, yeah, he sent a son out there to do it". Now if Yahweh himself died for us there wouldn't be any life left on the earth. There wouldn't be anything. But I know for myself it will be easier for me to go out and die for someone than it will be to send my son out there to do it, it would, I think most parents will agree. So it's more difficult, I suggest, for Yahweh to watch his own son to be tortured and to die for us. But because he loved us, because Yahushua loved us, he did. Romans 5:7 says, for scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet even perhaps for a good man some would even dare to die. But Elohim demonstrates his own love toward us, in that, why we were yet still sinners, Messiah died for us. He demonstrated it, he didn't just go, "hey you know, I love you guys". He showed it, real, and so in light of this, I mean If you were out there in a river somewhere drowning and someone saved your life, would you not go, "hey you know if there's anything I could ever do for you, just say the word, I'll do" it, if they saved your life. Yahweh saved your life. So, in light of this, we should be so appreciative. We should want to do something for him in return, at our earliest opportunity. We should want to bless Yahweh with all of our hearts because he continues to save us, daily and without him, we would have no life, we would have no strength, we would have nothing. And so he's saying, "in the same way, I love you, love me with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength". And no one is more deserving of our love. No human is more deserving of our love, nothing in this world is more deserving of our love and attention than Yahweh. He is kind, he's gentle, he's forgiving, he's passionate about us he's, there's just no greater friend that we could ever have. The most powerful being in the universe he is, he is in control and the beer drinkers all talk about they got friends in low places.
But we have an Elohim in heaven the most high, in high places who can actually solve our problem rather than medicate it. He can actually heal the broken heart rather than numb the pain emanating from it. He's the one who created every truly beautiful thing you've ever seen. He is the source of deep down joy, rather than a manufactured laughter from Hollywood. Listen, look at all the ways he has blessed us, look at all the things he's willing to do for us, look at all the things he has promised us not one promise has ever failed. How can you not love him, how can you not love Yahweh? Because he is awesome, I can't even put it into words how awesome he is. When you think about what the world says, the world gives you medication for your problem, Yahushua solves it. The world says you came from a rock, Yahweh says you were created by loving hands, fearfully, wonderfully made. And Yahweh went to great lengths to make the world we live in just perfect. And then man took the things which Yahweh had made, he made out of love for us and man corrupted it. He used the things he made to destroy the works of Yahweh rather than being faithful to them. You know, let's suppose for a minute...good lesson for the children out there... suppose you saw a little boy he was there building a sand castle. He's out on a beach, his parents lived along the beach. He has built this big sand castle for his mom and dad to see. He spent two weeks building this big sand castle and then someone came along with a baseball bat one night and just tore it and smashed it all down. Would you be upset at what that person did with the baseball bat?
I hope you would. Now Yahweh created this beautiful world we live in, and men have gone in with more than a baseball bat and sought to destroy what Yahweh has created. To tear down what Yahweh has built, to ruin the good place that Yahweh made for us, I'm not talking about this the environment, I'm talking about you. ahweh made you beautiful, perfect, loving and then we went off and we corrupted ourselves and the world we live in as a result and twisted everything around and made crooked what he made straight. Look at how mankind has treated our heavenly father in this beautiful world he gave us to live in, and all he ever did was love us and look at how people treat him like he's nothing.
I say, I'm not just zealous for loving him; I'm zealous for seeing him being loved by others. Am I getting to the root of something here? I mean, the same people who will jump out of their chair and want to stand up for the way a dog is mistreated or a human is mistreated or some poor innocent animal, whatever, will ignore the way Yahweh who is the most innocent being there is, they'll ignore the way he's mistreated. know someone out there saying, "Oh man Yahweh can take care of himself, he's big enough".
Oh yeah, he can, believe me, he can, he could take the earth and just go, flick, goodbye. But why doesn't he? Why doesn't he pour out his wrath right now, on you, on everybody who's ever been wicked? Why doesn't he just pour out his wrath and destroy those who hate him?
Because while we were yet sinners, he still loved us, does that not make you wanna jump up out of your chair and say "yes I love you, Yahweh"?
"Even more, I want to love you, Yahweh, I'm so glad you didn't pour out your wrath on me when I have mistreated you. I'm so glad you've been merciful to me even today and yesterday you make me want to love you even more." We love him because he first loved us. His love for you should motivate you, the fact he loved you long before you loved him should motivate you to him with a zealous love. Do you, do I, do all of us really love us the way we ought? Do we take stock of what he has done for us and care? It's a question only you can answer for yourself,
I'm not pointing a finger at anyone. You know today if you love him with a zealous love, people won't understand you, you'll probably be branded a legalist. You know Olympic gold medallists spend day after day, hour after hour giving up their friends their enjoyment of life so that they can get a gold medal for themselves, and maybe not even get that. And no one complains, no one says "oh you are just taking this too far". But if you put that same amount of effort and energy into loving our Father in heaven and serving and blessing him, all of a sudden people get a little problem with that.
The same people who set a high standard for their own children, who would go to great lengths to get others to love them, they won't think twice about making a special dinner for someone they love and set everything just perfect, everything just perfect. If you try to be just perfect, they call you a legalist. It doesn't necessarily mean you are a legalist, maybe you are. Maybe you are just trying to go through religion so that you can gain his favor. And hopefully that he'll be righteous enough he'll save you, I hope not. I hope you seek to do things just perfect for Yahweh because you love him, not because you just going to get blessed for it. Not because he's gonna bless you don't do it I should say. I mean sometimes you know, we have people who are gonna persecute us for trying to do the right thing mainly because you making them feel guilty for not doing the same thing. And so other people aren't willing to extend and expend themselves of that much energy to love our Father in heaven and maybe you are making them feel guilty not for your legalism but for their ilegalism and they can relive their conscience by labeling you. Yes there are many pleasing legalists out there who only go the extra mile to impress other people But what if it's not that reason? What if it's love? Luke 11:42 says, woe to you Pharisees for tithe of mint, rue and all manner of herbs and passed by justice and the love of Elohim these you have done without leaving the others undone.
So what was missing from those Pharisees who seem to cross her T's and dot their I's? They didn't have the love of Elohim.
So, in light of Yahweh's desire to show us his love language, what is his love language? He tells us how he wants to be loved. Are we listening? Let's take a look at the Ten Commandments. Yahweh said to put no other Elohim before him, he should be the number one slot in our minds because he's already there anyway. So, Yahweh is already number one. The question is whether or not to you he's number one?
And whether you recognize it or not is completely your choice. But he is number one.
If you're putting him in number 2 slot and putting yourself in number one slot, or somebody else in the number one slot, he won't accept that. Man can make himself his own Elohim, he can make others Elohim, he can make his car his house is possession Elohim. But only Yahweh deserves to be in that number one slot. He also said, "don't take the creation I have made and turn me into something that looks like a calf or a man or whatever". I mean think about the pagan world, that When Yahweh introduced himself to Israel and this whole Pagan world that was out there and they had all their ideas about you know what Yahweh wanted, you know, what kind of expectations he has. And those crazy..how many different religions there were in the Pagan landscape. And then Yahweh came along and emphatically stated, there's not many deities there's only one. He emphatically stated that you know there's no limits to his power, he is not limited to one piece of land somewhere. He emphatically stated that an inanimate object cannot possibly represent him. These are radical things when Yahweh introduce himself to Israel. And any physically moved, fed and provided for two million people, an entire nation of people as he moved them from Egypt to the land of Canaan. And any provides this meticulously detailed document of how he wants to be loved and how he wants others to love him and then he completely he said "I want your sacrifice to me to be out of love and out of response to my grace. A response to my love, not just to appease anger, but because you love." And then he outlawed certain things that other nations never did like sex outside the marriage covenant, don't tell me to Bible is written by a men when you got commandments like that in the Bible. Unlike mythological tales, the Bible is written by eyewitnesses of verifiable events, with real people and real story places. And Yahweh promised things that no other religion ever promised, a future where good triumphs over evil rather than this perpetual struggle between forces. A Messiah that's going to empower us, cause us to be forgiven and empower us to keep his Commandments and overcome Temptations. Yahweh governed the heart, no nation ever governed the heart, it's always external. Yahweh governs the heart. No nation ever governed the heart. It's always external. Yahweh governs the heart saying you cannot hate your brother in your heart, you can't covet in your heart, you can't have greed in your heart". What Yahweh had to offer was unique and it's still unique to this day because he really is Elohim, there is no one else. Therefore he governs the heart.
When he gave the third commandment he said: "my name is so important don't even, don't take it in vain." His name is important to him, his name may not be important to most people but it's very important to him. He puts his name in the Bible 7000 times and then man comes in and takes Yahweh's name out of the Bible 7000 times. I mean, how is that love? What if a popular author today wrote a book and the whoever published it, didn't bother to tell anybody who wrote it? It wouldn't be very nice, right? Think about that, they took Yahweh's name out of his own book. And then he says, " You have a day I want you to remember, known as the Sabbath. You can rest, you can focus on me and fellowship with me and with others that love me.
And I want you to do this for me, remember it". Ironically the one who says "remember" is the one everybody forgets--to keep it holy because he made it holy. This is his love language, this is top 10 list here, Ten Commandments. And when he talked about how you loved him he wanted you to care about his name, he wanted you to care about his day, he wanted you to care about him and put him first.
So how does all that so-called Jewish stuff reflect love towards Yahweh? Now you understand. It's not Jewish stuff is his stuff, its only Jewish on the sense that he gave it to the Jews and he gave it to all of us. And the only ones who can't understand how love is found in keeping the feast days are those who never kept them. The feast of Tabernacles, I mean Yahweh is calling us to gather together and rejoice before him and love by rejoicing in what he has provided for us and man, " no, your holy days we don't wanna do. We got our own holidays, we got ..." In fact, this one was based on I want to create this new Holiday you know based on how myth was worshipped and worship [inaudible 00:52:43.14] the same way Yahweh. And forget your days. Is that love? I don't think so. It would be like, you know, you had a wife she commits adultery and she kept your birthday on the birthday of her boyfriend. Or, celebrated your birthday by, you know, looking at pictures of her ex-boyfriend. And that's what Christmas and Easter essentially are. So I'm talking about loving Yahweh the way he wants to be loved with his love language. The feast days have Messiah written all over them, they're beautiful and they glorify Yahweh's awesome works. And so when I'm proclaiming Yahweh, I'm proclaiming his name, I want to proclaim the Sabbath, I'm going to proclaim the feast days. When I'm proclaiming all these things do you know what I'm really proclaiming?
Love Yahweh, that's what I'm saying, love him.
If you ask most of the people in this generation who choose to believe in the Creator; "do you really love our heavenly father?" The vast majority would say, " Oh yes, I do, I love him". But do you love him with his love language?
Not in the way that you choose to love him, but in the way that he established himself the way he wants to be loved?
Many great and precious promises are given to those who love him with all of our heart soul and strength. But we love him because he's worthy, he is worthy of our time, he is worthy of our devotion, he is worthy of our love, he is awesome. Have you ever heard someone say "well, you know, all things work out for our good, don't worry everything is going to work out for your good. The Bible says he does everything for a reason". Yeah, there is one, oh... a couple qualifiers here. He says "we know that all things work together for good to those who love Elohim." He's got a little qualifier here. Excuse me, but it won't work together for good if you don't love Elohim. And he has a love language, by the way, that we need to pay attention to. Oh we're really not loving him the way he wants us to love him. All of the law and the prophets hang off the two great Commands, to love Yahweh and love one another. Most people can relate to love each other, but to love Yahweh the way he wants to loved we've got to pay attention to those law and prophets that's hanging off the two great commands and see what they have to say about how we love our father in heaven and don't assume that just because you think you love him, he is receiving that love the way he wants to be loved. But look, all things will work out for your good if you love Elohim. That means you're going to put him first, it means you're going to care about how he feels, you're going to look at what he does, what he tells us to do and you going to pay attention and you're going to do it. So the real question is does it mean to love him? We can we can easily relate you know to, "don't steal from each other", you don't like to be stolen from, "don't commit murder we don't want to be murdered, "don't lie to each other". We don't like being lied to. But when we do some kind offense to him, he's not in heaven in you know some thunderous voice coming down and saying, "I don't like that". He chooses to speak to us through the holy scriptures that tell us what it really means to love him. Don't look to man to tell you, look to what Yahweh says about how we love him, and try as you might you can't remove the law and prophets from the two Commandments off of which they hang. Many want to divorce the two and say one replaces the other and Yahushua is just pointing out all Yahweh's commands are just going "you know love him, love one another. But you got your and ideas of what that means, see? And that's where the Commandments come in. So no matter how hard someone can try to convince, if you're breaking one of The Commandments written in Yahweh's law, and you are failing to either love Yahweh, you're failing to love your neighbor or you're failing both.
Yahweh wants us to love him and love our neighbor. But you got to understand, the heart of man is deceitful, inherently just Wicked who can know it but Yahweh through the revelation of his work and expose our own hearts and the areas that is not in line with his will, with true love. There is to be nothing in between us and Yahweh had to come first in everything we do. Don't trust your pastor, your favorite bible teacher to tell you everything you need to know about how to love Yahweh. Don't trust an organization, don't trust your Aunt Mildred, your Uncle Charlie, your mom, your dad, anybody. Look to the word yourself like the noble Bereans to find out whether the things they say are truly so. Then you'll know. But many times, people are far more interested in what a sports figure may have to say or some movie star may have to say or some TV show has to say or some movie has to say or whatever other kinds of communication, then they are hearing the words of Yahweh in doing his will. Yahweh doesn't want, and he doesn't deserve to be, second place to anything. Anytime we choose to wilfully, rebelliously sin, we are also putting ourselves before Yahweh, making an idol out of yourself. So anytime we're rebelliously breaking one of The Commandments, we are always breaking at least one of ten. That's the first one "have no other Elohim before me". It's very important, so let's put Yahweh first and don't say it's too hard because no temptation has overtaken you except such as common to man. But Elohim is faithful and will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, with the temptation will also make the way of escape that you may be able to beer it. Therefor my beloved flee from idolatry, flee from it. Don't look at how the idols are being worshipped by foreign nations and then try to practice them in your worship toward Yahweh as they did with Mithraism and so on, but flee from it, have nothing to do with it.
Scripture says "therefore put to death your members which are on the earth fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire and covetousness which is idolatry, covetousness means just this insatiable desire for riches and if things that belong to others. You see what others have and you want that. It can get idolatrous. You can set up idols in your hearts by having an unhealthy desire for things that you cannot currently possess. And covetousness is running out of control and Society, so many people going into debt to get things that cannot afford, they want it now not willing to work for it and wait, they want it now. 1 Samuel 15: 23 says, "Rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry because you've reject the word of Yahweh, he's also rejected you from being king." Talking to King Saul. This word "stubbornness, I was really curious about this and I looked it up in the Hebrew. Very curious. What is this stubbornness all about? So I looked it up in the Hebrew and what I found was it has to do with being like just pressure, pressure, pressing ,pressing, pressing, pushing back or you know being pushy, always wanting your own way and forcing your way in to get it, because you're on the throne, not Yahweh.
So we have to be careful about stubbornness and we have to be humble and consider putting Yahweh first.
So what are we going to do?
I want to point out one more time here about the Sabbath; the Sabbath offers us an opportunity to take the time and spend one seventh of our life taking the time to seek out how we are to love Yahweh and how we are to love one another. Are we willing to do that? Take a break from work and say, " you know what? the seventh day is the Sabbath of Yahweh, I'm not going to work today, I'm going to focus on this day that Yahweh has blessed and I'm going to receive that blessing and I'm going to spend my time today just soaking up the word of Yahweh, the Fellowship of other believers and offering praise to him for all the good things he's done for me all week long". That's what I want to do. That's why he provided this day, he says in Isaiah 58 he said that "if you delight yourself in the Sabbath and you will delight yourself in Yahweh." You will, you will delight yourself, Yahweh, because you're going to take that time and really focus on the word of Yahweh and let the word of Yahweh instruct you and teach you how he wants to be loved and how he wants you to love others. And it's a beautiful thing, it's a time of fellowship with the most high and who else is more worthy of our fellowship with him the most high, the one who loves us every day and provides for us every day. No one else is more worthy of our love and yet no one, probably no one, is loved less than our Father in Heaven and when we don't love our Father in Heaven, all things start going awry, the world doesn't function the way it should. Isaiah 24, verse 1 it says, "behold Yahweh makes the Earth empty and lakes at waste, distorts the surface and scatters abroad its inhabitants. And it shall be: As with the people, so with the priest; as with the servant, so with his master; As with the maid, so with her mistress; As with the buyer, so with the seller; As with the lender, so with the borrower; As with the creditor, so with the debtor. The land shall be entirely empty and utterly plundered for Yahweh has spoken this word." Wow, what's going on? What's happening? "The Earth mourns and fades away the world languishes and fades away, the haughty people, arrogant people of the earth languish. the Earth is also defiled under its inhabitants because they have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance, broken the Everlasting Covenant, therefore, the curse has the devoured the earth and those who dwell in it are desolate, therefore the inhabitants of the Earth are burned and few men are left." Sounds scary, transgressing the laws, changing the ordinance. What's it really about? People loving Yahweh the way they want to love Yahweh and so they don't like his ordinance and so they change it. They don't like the 7th Day Sabbath. They'll do it some other time. Hey don't like his name, and so they will put some other name in there, some title in there. They don't like his holidays and so they invent their own holidays, and so they change the ordinances, they change, they transgress the laws, they ignore them.
And so curse devours the earth until few men are left. It's all predicted, it hasn't happened yet. Some say, "Well what about that covenant you know I mean there is that covenant that's been replaced now by a new covenant and there is a new set of laws and all that?" Well, let's take a look; Jeremiah 31:31, "behold he days are coming" says Yahweh, "When I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and the house of Judah. "Not according to the covenant that made with their fathers" So, it's a different covenant, it's not according to covenant.
"In the day that I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt, my covenant which they broke though I was a husband to them", says Yahweh. "But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days", says Yahweh. "I'm going to make a brand spanking new law and you can toss out the old one and I'll make new ordinances and ... " No, that's not what it says. He says, "I will put my law", this is in Jeremiah's day here. Jeremiah, what law was he talking about? The law he gave to Moshe, the law he gave to Israel. He's going to "put my law in their minds and bind it on their hearts and I will be their Elohim and they will be my people". Now, there are people out here today, that says, "I don't need no bible, I don't need nothing, I just got the law in my heart". Okay, great, well how can you say that when you're breaking it? If that law that Yahweh gave is in your heart and you say you love him with all your heart why is it that you're breaking the commandments he gave? If the law is really in your heart, it's going to reflect on the outer layer that you're keeping the laws. You can't claim the law is in your heart and then be violating it, because out of the heart all things flow, all the issues of life flow. And besides this you can't take yourself out, you can't check out of the old covenant because that's with Israel and ignore the fact that the new covenant is also with the house of Israel and the house of Judah. You can't say, "Well, I'm out, I'm not a part of that old covenant there that's with the Jews and all that, the Jewish people back then they ... You know they had this law and this covenant and you know we are Gentiles and we are a Gentile church. And so we ...You know that's not for us". Wait a minute; you are a New Testament church, a new covenant church. Who is the covenant with? It's with Israel and it's with Judah, you cannot take yourself out of the one covenant on the basis of that you're not Israel, and then claim to be a part of the second covenant the new covenant which is also with Israel.
You've been sold a bill of goods and it ain't the truth, it isn't. The truth is Galatians 3:29 if you are Messiah's, you are Abraham's seed, you are. And therefore the things that he taught Abraham's seed about how he wanted to be loved, applies to you and to me if we're really Messiah's. So let's set aside the teaching of the church fathers and any Johnny-come latelies. Let's look at the teaching that Yahweh himself gave from the very beginning and set aside the commandments and doctrines and the philosophies of man. And don't repeat the mistake that the Pharisees thinking they could improve on Yahweh's already perfect law. See Yahweh didn't need 2.0, yeah. Man always something to improve what he had before, you know, "there is version 2.0 of this software, here is a new and improved car". Yahweh, he doesn't need that, he is already perfect and therefore his words are already perfect, He doesn't need a Torah 2.0.
And so the way he told us to love him in ancient times, is the way he wants us to love him today. He doesn't change; he is the same yesterday, today and forever. If he is the same yesterday, today and forever, then the way he wanted to be loved doesn't change either. It doesn't. No matter what man tells you. Beware of merchant preachers, who are trying to line their pockets with money and popularity, because the day is gonna come when all these things are just gonna crumble down. Yahweh didn't like this mixture of money and stuff like that, it gets in the way. Yahushua didn't care for it too much either. He made this whip of cords, He drove them all out of the temple the sheep and the oxen, poured out the changers' money, overturned the tables, "get these things out of here", he said to those who sold doves. "Take these things away, do not make my father's house a house of merchandise". I tell you what? If you don't teach the right way to love Yahweh, you teach something that's more comfortable, more you know, more in line with tradition; you could money and money being a preacher. But, you know, they got books and texts for sale everywhere you look and you can sign up for websites and get the platinum version of how many teachings you get or have the gold version of whatever, you know forget all that. Yahushua said, "Freely you received, free to give", don't peddle the word of Elohim. I don't need to buy something to learn how to love Yahweh; I can look at the scriptures myself and learn how he wants to be loved. I don't need to buy anything; I'm not saying you can't. If you want to, fine, but you know it's sad that you'd ever have to because grace I thought was free. If grace is free why are Christian books so expensive or Messianic books or whatever? How does Yahweh feel about it? Are we really loving him when we're excluding the poor from hearing his word because they can't afford it? Are we really loving the poor when we don't allow them to hear the word of Yahweh and the rich guy "come up forward here, you stand here close by me", and the poor guy "all you sit in the back or somewhere else you might not hear everything but you know sorry you don't have the money"?
Is that loving Yahweh? I don't think it is. Everything on my website is a 100% free and it will always be that way. I will not charge for any teachings, period. Not because I'm better than anybody else, because my goal is that Yahweh's word would go out without hindrance. How much did Moses charge? How much did ...? Was it 5 shekels to go and hear the Sermon on the Mount? I don't think so. Let's love Yahweh and let's proclaim his word without hindrance. If we love him and we want to promote him, I think we're gonna do that. And let's do more proclaiming him, let's proclaim the highest standard of love in his name, in his name. The standard love found in his everlasting word.
Psalm 119 verse 126 "it is time for you to act O Yahweh, for they have regarded Your law as void". Boy is that not a scripture for today? Wow, so I pray Yahweh, it's time for you to act, they have regarded your law as void; can you pray that with me? It's time for you to act O Yahweh, they have regarded your law as void, your standard of we're supposed to love you they have regarded it as nothing, it's done away with. And they put their own ideas in, my heart weeps for that. How long you have borne with this, these people you have created, your patience is amazing, your restraint is amazing. Verse 127, "therefore I love your commandments more than gold, more than gold." "Forget the riches of this world, I want your commandments." That's what I'm after, "I want them more than gold, I want them more than anything in this planet could possibly give me, I want your commandments O Yahweh", that's love. That's love brothers and sisters, "therefore all your precepts concerning all things I consider to be right, your ways they are the right ways Yahweh, your standard of love is the right way, Yahweh. I hate every false way, I hate false teachings, I hate everything false. I don't hate people, but I hate everything false. Your testimonies Yahweh, your testimonies are wonderful, therefore my soul keeps them". This psalmist, I tell you what? Whoever wrote this, it was someone that loved Yahweh. Read through this Psalm 119 sometime, this man loved Yahweh, "the entrance of your word gives light, it gives understanding to the simple, I opened my mouth and panted for I longed for your commandments". I mean you talk about love for Yahweh and his word, you go hahh, hahh, hahh, hahh, hahh, like a dog panting for his meal or something. Or as the deer pants for the water, so my soul longs after you. You know, look upon me and he is just thinking about himself and how he has failed to keep his commandments and he says, "O Yahweh, look upon me and be merciful to me as your custom is toward those who love your name ". His name; what's his name? His name is Yahweh, his name is also his character, it's all the same, his literal written and spoken name and also just who he is as an Elohim, as a being, we love him and everything he is about and we love his name that he gave us as well. He asked, you know, "as your custom is towards those love your name that you look upon me and be merciful toward me. That's what your custom is to those who love your name". Isn't that beautiful?
"Direct my steps by your word", he knows he needs Yahweh's direction and power and strength to do the word. He says, " And let no iniquity have dominion over me", through Yahushua ha Mashiach no sin has dominion over us. We are set free, we are no longer slaves of sin and there is nothing we can't overcome when Yahweh by his spirit directs our steps and we just allow him to do it. And then he gets to thinking about how when he starts doing the right things, other people are gonna not like it too much.
Verse 134, "redeem me from the oppression of man", you start keeping commandments, look out for the oppression of man, it's coming your way, stay tuned. And they'll try to oppose you because you wanna put Yahweh first because you want to love Yahweh. They are going to oppose you, they may think themselves to be good willed people and think "Oh you're just taking this Yahweh thing too far, no you're not. You just love him so much. "Redeem me from the oppression of man, that I may keep your precepts" because they'll try to stop you. And he returns the attention back to the father and he goes, " make your face shine upon your servant ". His face shining upon you is a Hebrew euphemism for gaining your favor and when Yahweh causes his face to shine upon you, you're given grace. Because the light of Messiah is illuminating you now, quenching out all the darkness. So that you might be seen righteous in the eyes of Yahweh. "And teach me your statutes", this is love.
Verse 136, "rivers of water went down from my eyes because men do not keep your law". He loves Yahweh so much that it really, really bothers him that others don't and he thinks about how Yahweh is putting up with so much. So much hate, so much just ignoring him and not regarding his laws his commandments which are instructions on how to love him. And he weeps over it.
That's love, brothers and sisters that's love.
Let's pray; Father, in Yahushua's name we praise you, we praise you for your word, we praise you for revealing to us how you want us to love you. Father, forgive us for we have failed to do that, forgive us of any pride that we looked down upon others who may not, because we know that we ourselves have failed to love you the way you deserve to be loved with all of our heart, with all of our soul, with all of our strength and everything we have. Strengthen us father in your ways, as the psalmist
prayed, redeem us from the oppression of man, direct our steps by your word and let no iniquity have dominion over us, look upon us and be merciful to us as your custom is toward those who love your name. We love your name, we love your Sabbath, we love your grace, your mercy, we love everything about you
because you are awesome.
Let your face shine upon us, the light of Yahushua shine upon us who is express image of your person and the light of your glory.
That we might be cleansed and all the darkness might be exposed. For truly you are worthy and there is none like you, Yahweh Elohim, Yahweh our mighty one. and truly yours is the kingdom, and power and glory and majesty and all praise honor and honor belong to you Yahweh our strength, Yahweh Elohim,
Yahweh our mighty one, Yahweh, Yahweh our king forever and ever in Yahushua's great name we pray, amein.
