Psalm 119: To love the law is to love Messiah - Part 3 - Study

And we are ready to begin the study portion for today's broadcast and we've been studying the topic of Psalms 119. Actually the chapter of Psalms 119, to love the law, is to love the Messiah.
So many people see the 2 things as polar opposites
and we're bringing the scriptures together, showing the unity of Yahweh's word, the blessing of the Yahweh's word and particularly in this broadcast we're gonna kinda put a nice little bow tie here at the end. And show you how everything just comes together beautifully as one sweet unified word of truth. And that's what we often try to do as part of the ministry here to demolish preconceived ideas, things that we've been handed down, things we have to kind of unlearn. Sometimes it's hard to unlearn than it is to learn and we're going to show you that from scripture these two are not only compatible but they are synonymous in many ways. And we can't talk about our relationship with the most high and the different things as we continue our journey here into Psalms 119. So without any further ado, let's get started in Psalm 119. Take a look at verse 22; Remove from me reproach and contempt; for I have kept your testimonies. We touched on this in our previous study portion here in verse 22, it's often true that those of us who are trying to do our best to please our heavenly father will undergo reproach, undergo difficulties, tests, trials and tribulations. And this is one of the things that we encounter because we're living different, we're living different than the world and so because we live differently, we do suffer persecution. And verse 23 says; Princes also sit and speak against me: but your servant meditates on your statutes. We have to be willing to be different; we cannot just mesh our self in with the world and still expect to be a believer. Because if we want to be a friend of the world, we make ourselves the enemy of Yahweh according to scripture. It says; Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the father is not in him and so we must be willing to allow people to sit and speak against us, and bring reproach, and contempt because we choose to keep the
testimonies of Yahweh, we have to be willing.
If we're not willing then we may fail in the day of adversity.
Verse 24 says; Your testimonies are my delight
and my counselors. So many times, I've sought advice from various people
and nothing was quite satisfying, but then I

just opened the word, and I listened to the word.
Now all of a sudden things become clear, things become all. Yahweh will show me this scripture, he will show me that scripture and he instructs me personally. And some of the most powerful lessons I've gotten are from those very things. If Yahweh's testimonies are our delight and our actions are going to reflect that, there are so many competing forces seeking to be that which we delight in entertainments, media, television, Internet, these things are often competing forces for our attention. But our delight is in the law of Yahweh, scripture says; His delight is in the law of Yahweh, he meditates day and night. Is this what we do? Do we meditate day and night? If you're looking for the best counselor in the world to help you in a situation, get you out of a jam, obviously others can help because Yahweh can put his words in other people's mouths, but I say delight yourself in the testimonies of Yahweh. In his law you will find the counsel there or by his spirit he can reveal to you his counsel. So to delight in the law of Yahweh, really is to delight in the Messiah because he is a living representation of what it's like to walk in the law of Yahweh. And so when we study Yahweh's law, we study the Torah, we study Genesis to Revelation really, not just Genesis to Deuteronomy, but Genesis to Revelation. We find how our Savior lived and how therefore we ought to live. He is the embodiment of Yahweh's law, the word became flesh and dwelt among us. If you find other things more interesting and more delightful than you may not have much to like in Messiah and there are a lot of competing things in the world today. They want to cause us to draw our attention toward them, but Yahweh wants to know what is our delight and what do we value? What do we make a priority in our life? Do we desire his word more than gold and riches? Do we love the law and therefore love the Messiah? That's a question only you can answer for you, and only I can answer for me. The part of repentance is despising are former ways and the delighting in the ways of truth. And so if we find ourselves delighting in the wrong things, we can pray to Yahweh to change our heart, because we don't want to delight in the things that displease him. If we find ourselves in transgression of any of the commands and we tend to gravitate toward carnal inclinations, we have a promise. Scripture says; he said my soul clings to the dust, revive me according to your word. In other words there is something in his word,
promises to revive us, to renew us, to revive us
according to his word, interesting. That's what we need, we need revival, right. We need revival, revive me according to your word, it was a promise that we will be revived and we're gonna look at this here a little bit later. But, he says "my soul clings to the dust" because see we're created from dust. We're created from the dust of the ground, our soul has a tendency to gravitate toward the things of the earth, but Yahweh can revive us that's what we need. Scripture says; As a Father pities his children, Psalms 103:13, so Yahweh pities those who fear him. He pities those who fear him, he knows our frame; he remembers that we are dust. As for man, his days are like grass: as a flower of the field, so he flourishes. For the wind passes over it, and it is gone; and its place remembers it no more.
That's man, that's your life, that's it, this is
it, all the glory, all they possess, all the things that people do, every single one of us we'll meet our end. Hopefully our end will result in eternal life, but all the things that are happening, all the things that people value, it's all going to just melt away and be no more. As man, like the grass, like a flower of the field, first comes out the budding flower, just a full flower and then pretty soon petal start falling off, pretty soon things start not looking like they used to, I can testify that. And pretty soon before you know it, old age starts to take its toll and we just kinda go right back into almost like the condition we started, losing hair,
getting a diaper again and you know things just kinda
going back where everything started. So except this time, we are no more, so at least not until Yahushua returns and raise us up. But, where are our priorities? That's an important question, is it in the temporary things that will falter? Or is it in the things that will never pass away? This important question is for us, we have to find the answers and seek those answers. And we have, those of us who have sought Yahweh and the answers will come to, we're going to put Yahweh first. Because he is the only thing that matters, he is the only the eternal things are going to matter in the end. Right, absolutely. So, all right moving; Buried with him in baptism, in which you are also raised with him, have you ever thought about this? You were buried, you had a burial service at some point, according to scripture you had a burial service and buried with him, with Yahushua because you took on his identity when you became a part of his body, and therefore we took on his history. But you're buried with him through faith in the working of Elohim, who raised him from the dead. And you, being dead in your trespasses and uncircumcision of your flesh, he has made a life together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses. So you were buried but then you were made alive. So it's no longer you who lives, it's the Messiah that lives in you. What a beautiful, beautiful concept to consider, we have to confess and acknowledge we need a Savior, we have sinned, we need a Savior. Psalms 119:26; I have declared my ways, and you have answered me: teach me your statutes. So I have declared my ways, I know what my ways are all about, figured it out, my ways are not good ways, my ways are different than Yahweh's ways, and the psalmist is acknowledging this.
You see the Old Testament law wasn't really
radically different than anything we're doing, I mean they were missing some of the knowledge of Messiah's death and resurrection. But we see very much the same mentality, we approach our relationship with the father. This man wanted to be delivered from his own ways and want to be brought into Yahweh's ways, teach me your statutes.
Make me understand the way of your precepts: so shall
I meditate on all your wondrous works. It's one thing to read, it's another thing to say Oh, make me understand and I will meditate on your wondrous, wondrous works. Many wonderful things that Yahweh has done for us.
My soul melts for heaviness: strengthen me
according to your word. Have you ever felt like this, you have been weakened? And you need a time of strength, so many times we pray, Yahweh give us strength, that's a good prayer. Yahushua the Messiah in Luke 22:41 says; he was withdrawn from them about a stone's throw, and he knelt down, and prayed, Saying, Father, if it is your will, take this cup away from me: nevertheless not my will, but your will, be done.
And because he was in complete and total
submission to the father, what happened? An angel appeared to him from heaven, strengthening him. Yahweh sends his angels to strengthen us, one time I was on the phone with my brother who was in prison. He was denied parole, I prayed, Yahweh send your angels to strength him. When he finally got on the phone, he says I don't know what just happened all of a sudden I just feel better, I feel strengthened. Yahweh can send his angels to strengthen us and
Yahweh can do that so seek it, seek his strength.

Luke 22:31, And the Master said, Simon, Simon,
indeed, Satan has asked for you, that he may sift you as wheat: But I have prayed for you, that your faith should not fail: and when you have returned to me, strengthen thy brethren. So we can strengthen each other through fellowship, that's another source of strength, it's through fellowship. Too many of us deny ourselves that ability to be strengthened and we're out there on the line, that's what Satan wants he wants us to be out on a line, that's why he's always trying to create division and get people judging each other rather than loving each other and strengthen each other. It says after Paul had spent some time there, he departed, and went over all the region of Galatia and Phrygia in order, strengthening all the disciples.
And job before he had his situation were he lost
everything, his some was commenting on what happens he said: surely you've instructed many, and you have strengthened the weak hands. Your words have upheld him he was stumbling, and you have strengthened the feeble knees. We are called to strengthen each other out of love. So when Job was in his days of great prosperity, he was a man that would go around and strengthen others. Sadly there weren't people doing a good job of strengthening him in his time of trouble, that's often the way it is. But this is what faced, but this is what we can do for each other.
Also the other way we can find strength, Proverbs 24
verse 5 says; A wise man is strong. So if we seek wisdom, we will be strengthened; yes,a man of knowledge increases strength. For by wise counsel you will wedge you on the war: and in a multitude of counselors there is safety. By wise counsel you will wedge your own war, we need the wisdom from above to engage the enemy and
thereby be strong against him and be strong in Yahweh.
And so we need Yahweh's wisdom, we need to read the scriptures, we need to make it a practice to gain that wisdom, so that we are not overwhelmed on the day of adversity. Some people will think I don't know if I'm gonna make it, well seek wisdom. As you gain wisdom you'll be granted the strength, as you seek Yahweh's counsel through wise men, there are a multitude of counselors who are wise men and wise women. He will be guaranteed the strength to walk in that counsel.
Verse 28 says; My soul melts from heaviness:
strengthen me according to your word. Remove from me things that are not wisdom (the way of lying): and grant me your law graciously. Two opposites, the law and the way of lying, his word is truth the enemy is always trying to lie to us in. He's trying to somewhere to get us to trip and fall over his lies.
So why don't we seek it, he's saying remove from me
Yahweh the way of lying, remove from me, grant me your law graciously, grant me your law. We live in a world full of lies, and we need to hear the good shepherd's voice, grant me the voice of the good shepherd.
If we don't want his law we're denying for
ourselves the voice of the shepherd, we think the law is no more and we're denying ourselves the voice of the good shepherd, the way of truth.
Praise Yahweh we can ask him to grant us your law,
something he has to grant to us.
The alternative is this, 2 Thessalonian 2:9-12; The
coming of the lawless, is according to the working of Satan with all power, signs and lying wonders. And with all unrighteous deception among those who perish; because they did not receive the love of the truth (they didn't want it, so they didn't receive it), that they might be saved. Wow, have you ever think about that? You can't even be saved until you love the truth And for this reason, Elohim will send them strong delusion that they should believe the lie. The lie, like there is some central lie out there that have been told too many and people are believing it. He'll send them strong delusion that they all might be condemned, who did not believe the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness, had pleasure in their sin. If you have pleasure in unrighteousness, Yahweh may not give you a love for the truth and therefore you will not believe the truth when it's presented to you because you don't like it, you don't wanna hear it. And so he sends a strong delusion, so you believe a lie instead, because that's what you want. He's giving you what you ask and when temptation comes you're less likely to be able to stand and more likely to believe in some delusion.
But what is this, the lie?
What is that? I think it goes back to Genesis; And the woman said to the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, Elohim has said, You shall not eat of it, nor shall you touch it, lest you die. Then the serpent said to the woman, You will not surely die: (that's the first lie in the bible) For Elohim knows that in the day you eat of it, your eyes will be opened, and you will be like Elohim, knowing good and evil. Now did she die? Yes, she did, so this was not true, she did die, right? So the lie was I can disobey Yahweh and I will surely not die. I'll be alright, I go about my merry way, we can intentionally violate what we know he says not to do, and we will be alright. The lie is that we can be like Elohim, make our own judgments, make our own laws as to what's good as to what's evil. The lies that we can be like the Most High, make our own and walk in our own ways, the ways of our own heart; and have our own standard what we think is right and wrong, knowing all good, no evil and so those who fall on the ways of the enemy will act just like him. You try to tell them, they're doing something wrong, they're not worried they will not surely die. Once saved, always saved, they don't love the truth and so they believe the lies of the enemy. Not everybody believes once, it always seems that way don't get me wrong. But there are some people under strong illusion, they can go on about their business and sent the willfully, not just like I'm deceived into thinking this is okay but willfully sin against Yahweh and just go about their business and think everything's alright. They're not in love with the truth, they don't want, they don't want the light and so they don't know they're on strong delusions, there's a way that seems right to a man, but its end is in the way of death. Oh they could be having a good old time, but even laughter and laughter the heart may sorrow in the end maybe grief. The backslider in heart will be filled with his own ways, but a good man will be satisfied from above. Quite a Proverb, set of proverbs here, three of them, there's a connection the world as I've heard it said America is going to hell and laughing the whole way. The end maybe grief. Backsliders stick his own ways, doesn't seek the ways of Yahweh, but we are seeking satisfaction from above I hope, seeking wisdom from above.
Yahushua warned about a certain group of people,

calling him Master but did not doing what he says.
So why do you call me Master, Master and not do the things which I say? He's not really your Master unless you're willing to do the things he says, you're your own Master, your own ways. You have chosen to usurp his throne and so why would you call him Master, when he's not? You're your own Master, and if Yahushua is not on the throne of your heart, the enemy is there, you're walking in the way of the enemy, he's your Master.
Only two possible Masters, the devil or Yahweh.
There's no in between, there's no sitting on the fence you can't just wish, washy decide one thing, one minute the next. Either he's your Master or he isn't, one or the other it's very simple. So don't be your Master, let Yahushua be your Master. Yahushua said not everyone who says to me Master, Master shall enter the kingdom of heaven; but he who does the will of my father in heaven. Got to do the will of his father too, and everything he said is what the father said, no different. He says the words I speak to you they are spirit and they are life. And he says, many will say to me in that day Master, Master have we not prophesied in your name, you know we had a prophecy from you, we heard your words directly, in fact we even cast out demons and did many miracles, many wonders in your name, lying wonders, strong delusion we read about that earlier. I want to declare to them I never knew you, depart from me you who practice lawlessness, (what's this word lawlessness?) In the Greek lexicon not Hebrew, Greek, the condition of without law, because of ignorance violation or contempt of it. I don't think ignorance really counts, I don't believe that's a correct definition. But anyway willful ignorance maybe, I don't wanna know about it, don't tell me about it. Contempt and violation of the law, the Strong's lexicon has illegality or violation of the law.
Interesting, yes the law is really gonna be
important. Remove from me the way of lying: and grant me your law graciously. Two polar opposites. We really need his law to be given to us and given to us with grace. We need both. We absolutely need both, okay, I have chosen the way of truth: your judgments I have laid before me. Chosen the way of truth. I cling to your testimonies O Yahweh: do not put me to shame. Do not put me to shame, I think it's beautiful.
Yeah we live in a world of lies and liars and we hear
Yahweh's word, know we're hearing the way of truth, but Yahweh doesn't give the understanding until we
seek it, we have to pursue it.

All we like sheep have gone astray; we have
turned every one to his own way; that Yahweh has laid on him the iniquity of us all. And we need that, we need that because Yahweh's judgments are serious and we must desire to be delivered from the shame of our own sin and when we are the way it happens instead he bears our shame, he bears it all, Yahushua HaMashiach.
And he will teach us, the words of the wise are like
God's and the words of scholars like well-driven nails-given by one shepherd. That's profound isn't it just absolutely profound? I think it is, I cling to your testimonies:O Yahweh do not put me to shame, I will run the course of your commandments, for you shall enlarge my heart.
Wow, it's a work of Yahweh, right, so Yahweh

enlarges our heart if we ask him, we want to have
our heart enlarged and we don't want to be put to shame. Because it says Daniel 12:2-3; Many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the firmament; and those who turn many to righteousness like the stars forever and ever. You see the real stars are not those in Hollywood, it
is those in the age to come who are turning
people to righteousness and that should be our goal and our intent. So we're seeking wisdom, those who are wise, those who are wise, we get that wisdom when we ask Yahweh to enlarge our hearts and he will grant it to us.
Deuteronomy: 4:6, therefore be careful to
observe them (talking about the commandments of Yahweh); for this is your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the people, who will hear all these statutes, and say, Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people. So we run the course and cling to his commandments,
people will say neither way he lives his life,
it's the right way to live, I mean with the right kind of people will say that anyway, not everybody. So let's seek that wisdom and shine like the brightness of the firmament and like the stars forever and ever. I love just the strong desire, the author of this Psalm has for the commandments, I'm impressed. 131 says; I opened my mouth, and panted: for I longed for your commandments. Another verse, Rivers of waters run down my eyes,
because man do not keep your law.

Another verse 126; It is time for you to act, O
Yahweh: for they have regarded your law as void. Yes it's true, most people have rendered Yahweh's law
null and void, it's abolished, done away with,
to us it's alive, it's alive because Yahushua is and Yahushua will fill our hearts with his law riding on it, as a new covenant promises that he will. The true way, love is a solution to every problem this world faces, love is a solution. Teach me O Yahweh the way of your statutes and I shall keep it to the end. Give me understanding and I shall keep your law indeed I shall observe it with my whole heart. Sometimes we come across difficult passages, things that are either hard to understand or we wonder how it would apply in various situations and we're called to have this attitude of sincerity wanting to do the things that please him and so we cry out as the Psalmist here says, Teach me O Yahweh the way of your statutes, and I'll keep it to the end with your strength of course. Scripture says Proverbs chapter 2, Yes, if you cry out for discernment, and lift up your voice for understanding; If you seek her as silver, and search for her as for hidden treasures; Then you will understand the fear of Yahweh, and find the knowledge of Elohim. For Yahweh gives wisdom: from his mouth come knowledge and understanding. He stores up sound wisdom for the upright: he is a shield to those who walk uprightly. But you have to pursue it, you have to seek it, right? He guards the pathways of justice, he preserves the ways of his saints. Then you will understand righteousness, and judgment, equity; and, every good path. When wisdom enters your heart, and knowledge is pleasant to thy soul. Discretion will preserve you, understanding will keep you. To deliver you from the way of evil, from the man who speaks perverse things.
As the alternative, perverted things, right,
twisting things around the wrong way.
From those who leave the paths of uprightness, to
walk in the ways of darkness; Who rejoice in doing evil, and delight in the perversity of the wicked; Whose ways are crooked, and who are devious in their paths: You'll be delivered from lies and from those who speak them if you're willing to cry out for discernment as the Psalmist says, teach me I want to keep it to the end, give me understanding, I'll keep teach me please, show me your ways.
He promises to lead us, but we have to ask in
faith. James chapter 1 verse 5-8; If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of Elohim, who gives to all liberally, and without reproach; (and he'll think about it? no it says ) It will be given him. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting. For he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. For let not that man suppose he receives anything from Yahweh. A double minded man is unstable in all his ways. Why is he double minded? You ask if you believe you gonna get it. What good does it do to ask for it, if you don't think you're going to get it, why ask you gotta believe with, when you ask. Now if we believe we found it we should not close our mind at that point, sometimes our own heart can be deceptive, it's not really that we even found something but really we actually found our own heart wanted. There are many blocks, stumbling blocks to receiving the truth . Well there could be another angle even that Yahweh wants to show us, we have not yet heard from him we've already closed our mind, we close the book before we read it out, but we always have to have to have our ears open to additional wisdom from Yahweh. Maybe the actual precept we have found is true, but how we're applying it isn't exactly how we should, so we have to keep our minds open to additional teaching. Teach me O Yahweh, your statutes. He says make me walk in the path of your commandments, make me walk, like make me do it,
make me walk in the path your commandments and
Incline my heart to your testimonies, and not to covetousness. Actually a lot here in these 2 verses, the Psalmist recognized the need for Yahweh's power, he recognized without the strength that Yahweh would give him, he is a mess. So he says make me walk in it, please make me do it,
because I want to, I want to walk it, so make me do
it, he says. Inclined my heart in such a way that I just don't want covetousness.
Some people will think that in the Old Testament
those poor people had to keep the law of Yahweh out of their own power. But then the Holy Spirit came in Acts chapter 2, all of sudden Yahweh gave people the ability to walk in obedience, that's simply not true.
Look at King David, he said creating me a clean
heart, he knew his heart was a mess, his sin with Bathsheba and that's why he wrote Psalms 51. So he says create in me a clean heart, not the lustful heart. He basically was looking at lie pornography and that caused him to sin.
And we knew of steadfast spirit he had a problem
with his own spirit and his own heart.
He says do not cast me away from your presence,
do not take your holy spirit from me. He did not want to lose Yahweh's presence in his life he saw what happened to Saul. So Yahweh had departed from Saul, when Saul was caught in a sin. Yahweh departed from Saul and David did not want that to happen. He says restored to me the joy of your salvation, uphold me by your generous spirit.
He needed Yahweh's cleansing, we all need
Yahweh to create in us a clean heart. David allowed his heart to be inclined to covetousness , he coveted his neighbor's wife, it's a violation of the 10th commandment, which says you shall not covet your neighbor's house, you shall not covet your neighbor's wife or anything. So this is actually, some people think well Yahushua came along and he says I say to whoever looks at a woman, to lust for her has already committed adultery in his heart. Yahushua wasn't really introducing a new concept. Some think he was bringing a radical new idea that, Oh now we have to keep the commandments physically and spiritually and in our minds. It wasn't radically a New Commandment, it was already there, do not covet your neighbor's wife in the 10 commandments written on stone. And this is something that only can be violated in our minds, so he says make me walk in the path of
your commandments for I delight in it.
Inclined my heart your testimonies and not to covetousness. It may have been David that wrote that Psalm, we don't know but the offer certainly recognize the need for Yahweh to empower him and he does by his spirit. He says I will put my spirit within you and cause you to walk in my statutes and you will keep my judgments and do them. We want Yahweh's power to enable us to overcome temptations and turn our eyes away from looking at things we should not. It says here turn away my eyes from looking at worthless things and revive me in your way, establish your word to your servant who is devoted to fearing you. You know this term worthless things is
actually Hebrew word for vanity or emptiness.
Vanity, he should never have looked Bathsheba's way David, the woman belonged to another man covetousness has that attribute. If our minds are occupied with desiring things that are impossible for us to obtain because they belong to someone else or some other reason we can't obtain it just all vanity. We occupy our minds that we will be tempted to do even more simple things in order to obtain what our eyes have seen, the Psalmist warned, wanted Yahweh I should say to establish his word to him, establish. Establish your word to your servant, the word establish means to rise ,okay. Now it's in Hiphil, so Hiphil means to cause to rise, cause to erect, to bring on the scene, to raise up, to constitute or like this you need to cause to stand, pretty good, So you say I cause me to stand, enable me to stand, establish your word to your servant. Cause it to stand your word to stand in my heart in my heart and not let my eyes look at worthless things cause it to stand.
The book of Romans is similar verbiage regarding
the law of Yahweh. Do we then make void the law through faith, certainly not on the contrary we establish the law. What's the word established meaning Greek lexicon? Histemi, to me to cause or make to stand. Same teaching Old Testament, New Testament
same teaching, not different.
Cause your word to stand to me and if we put our
faith in Yahushua, we don't make the law null
and void, we cause it to stand. I love how the entire Bible really is just one consistent message from one end to the other. I mean people have sought to dismiss parts of it, I don't know how to get it any clearer that we're called to observe Torah because even as believers in Yahushua we don't make void the law. We like the Psalmist say, establish your law to us, cause it to stand especially because we're believers, because that's how he lived. He who says he abides in him on himself to walk just as he walked, clear as the bell, to me I'll have to get it clear that. Then he says; Turn away my reproach which I dread:
for your judgments are good.
Behold, I have longed for your precepts: revive me in your righteousness. So we talked about earlier, we're going to face reproach whenever we seek to walk in Yahweh's ways it goes with the territory, all the disciples had their share of it.
Acts 14:21; they preached the gospel to that city,
made many disciples, they returned again to Lystra, Iconium and Antioch, strengthening the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of Elohim. Are we willing to suffer for the word of Yahweh?
Yahushua was the one who suffered for us.
Are we willing to suffer also, to be faithful to him? Well they're reproached because of their belief in Yahushua, our reproach today is because of our belief in keeping Torah and the faith of Yahushua. So turn away my reproach which I dread for your judgments are good, the law of Yahweh is just, holy and good according to Romans chapter 7.
What's this interesting word here revive?
Revive me, revive me in your righteousness, there
is a whole message right here.
Let's take a look at this for a minute revive me in your, the word revive means to have life, to live and it's Enipio which means to preserve alive, to let live, to give life, to quicken, to revive refresh, to restore to life. And it says in your righteousness cause me to live, revive my life, preserve me alive, let me live because we're all ultimately under a death sentence and we need Yahweh's righteousness in order for us to be delivered from the descents, we all failed to keep the law of Yahweh. So revive me or cause me to live in your righteousness.
Romans 10:1-3; Brothers, my heart's desire and
prayer to Elohim for Israel is, that they might be saved. For I bear them witness that they have a zeal for Elohim, but not according to knowledge. For they being ignorant of Elohim's righteousness, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted to the righteousness of Elohim.
How are they not submitting to the righteousness really?
Because they have tried by their own power to save themselves. The author of Psalms 119 says; revive being your righteousness, my own righteousness is not going to be good enough. Make me alive in your righteousness, that's not the only place in the Old Testament we see that.
Isaiah 54:17 says; No weapon formed against you
shall prosper; every tongue which rises against you in judgment you shall condemn. This is the heritage (inheritance) of the servants of Yahweh, and their righteousness is from me. Whatever righteousness we have, it comes from the Father through Yahushua the Messiah and to us. Isaiah 45:23 says; I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That to me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear. He shall say; Surely, in Yahweh I have righteousness (my own righteousness isn't good enough, only in Yahweh do I have righteousness) and strength: (from him I have righteousness, from him I have the strength to walk in righteousness) even to him shall men come; and shall be ashamed to your incensed against him. Trying to say they are righteous on their own. It says; In Yahweh all the sons of Israel shall be justified (justification comes by faith in the righteousness of Yahweh and his strength). So, it all comes from him and only from him and in him shall we glory, because it all comes from Yahweh in his righteousness, makes sense? The other one Isiah 59:14-6; Justice is turned back, and righteousness stands afar off: for truth is fallen in the street, and equity cannot enter. So, truth fails; and he who departs from evil makes himself a prey: then Yahweh saw it, and it displeased him that there was no justice. He saw that there was no man, and wondered that there was no intercessor: therefore his own arm brought salvation for him; his own righteousness, it sustained him. o we need Yahweh's righteousness to sustain us and to bring salvation, we need his own arm right. That's why it says Isaiah 53:1-3; Who has believed our report? and to whom has the arm of Yahweh been revealed? This comes through the Savior, through Yahushua. He shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he has no form nor comeliness; and when we see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him. He is despised and rejected by men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we did not esteem him. We did not esteem the arm of Yahweh as was being said here and the arm of Yahweh is what ultimately brought salvation and his righteousness, brought salvation. It took Yahweh's own righteousness for it to sustain him and say okay this is good enough.
Our own works are insufficient and so
Yahushua the Messiah is going to be called a special name in the age to come. It says; Behold, the days come, says Yahweh, that I will raise to David a Branch of righteous, and a King shall reign and prosper, and shall execute judgment and righteousness in the earth. In his days, Judah will be saved, and Israel will dwell safely: now this is his name by which he will be called, YAHWEH OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.
Yahweh Tsedkenu in the Hebrew, Yahweh Tsedkenu,
And so Yahweh Our Righteousness, is called Yahweh Our Righteousness because he is the one through whom he Yahweh brought us righteousness.
So the concept that we cannot be saved by our own
works, but can only be saved by the righteousness that's in the Messiah Yahushua was something that Prophets declared a long time before Paul ever said anything about it. See the law is limited and it can only tell us how we're supposed to live,it cannot make us righteous, it can only show us what righteousness is. And the Psalmist, he got it, he understood it,
revive me, make me alive in your righteousness.

Only in Yahweh's righteousness will be able
to live, only in Yahweh's righteousness could mercies ever come to him and salvation. And so it says, revive me in your righteousness, let your mercies come also to me, O Yahweh your salvation. According to your word what you've predicted already let your mercies come to me.
He knew the gospel, he must have studied deeply
and meditated on Yahweh's law, he must have understood it. Only Yahweh's righteousness is gonna make it. So shall I have an answer through him who reproaches me: for I trust in your word. So Yahweh's righteousness just means answer, for the one who reproached him.
He trusted in Yahweh's word, the Prophets, he
trusted in the Prophets, they will be forgiven and it's possible through Yahweh's righteousness, through mercy and salvation coming his way, HalleluYah. Mercies and salvation, why? Because he's righteousness, Yahweh's righteousness enabled mercies to come, enabled salvation to come.
That's our answer for any who reproach us for the
errors of our way. The mistakes that we make, the sins that we may have committed in the past like David who should have been put to death for his adultery and murder like Peter they should have been rejected for denying the Messiah, like Paul the Apostle who stood in agreement with those who put Stephen to death, the very first martyr for his belief in Yahushua the Messiah. We all deserve to die for our transgressions but we can be caused to live, we can be revived, given life, through Yahweh's righteousness, through that mercies come, through that salvation comes. Yahushua has called Yahweh as salvation, Yahweh saves, because Yahweh did the saving through him and so we have an answer. Yes, I have done wrong in the past but I have an answer, it's not my own righteousness, it's by his righteousness, that mercies have come to me and salvation has come to me and my record is clear in heaven and I am forgiven. Elohim, who is rich in mercy, Ephesians 2:4, because of his great love with which he loved us. Even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Messiah, (by grace you've been saved;) And has raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Messiah Yahushua. That in the ages to come he might show the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us in Messiah Yahushua.
Don't let anyone tell you, Psalm 119 is only about
the law, it isn't. It's about and man who loved Yahweh's law with all of his heart, with all of his soul, longing for a righteous living, longing for the way of love, but its trust was not in his own righteousness, it was in Yahweh's righteousness in him. He placed trust in the mercy of Yahweh, and scripture says Yahushua said blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled, two ways were filled. Number one, he gives us through righteousness we seek through Yahushua the Messiah. Number 2, he teaches us the way of righteousness that we might walk there.
Two ways were filled, if we desire it, if we hunger
for it, if we thirst after it, Yahweh will fill us by the blood Messiah Yahushua, he will grant us forgiveness. By granting us his righteousness, Torah and Messiah all over the scriptures, Torah and Messiah.
That's what Psalms 119 captures, we just need to
dig deep and examine every concept.
He says take note the word of truth utterly out of my
mouth; for I have hoped in your ordinances. So shall I keep your law continually for ever and ever. And I will walk at liberty: for I seek your precepts. What's he talking about? Don't take the word out of his mouth, there's a promise in the Prophets about, this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, says Yahweh, I will put my law in their minds, and write it on their hearts; and will be their Mighty One, and they shall be my people.
If his law is in our minds, if it's written on
our hearts, what's going to happen?
A good man out of the good treasure of his heart
brings forth good; an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth evil: for out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks. When the law of Yahweh is in our hearts it just comes flying out of our mouth, it is just the way it is. The word of Yahweh just comes out, it's filled, we fill it to full and out it comes. So the word of truth coming out of our mouth why? This man is saying, O, don't let it come out, don't let it be removed, don't take it away. I have hoped in these things. These are my hope and I'll keep it. I'll walk at liberty, I'll seek your precepts please don't take it away from me. Isiah 59 verse 16, let's keep reading; he saw that
there was no man, and wondered that there was no
intercessor: therefore his own arm brought salvation for him; his own righteousness, it sustained him. For he put on righteousness as a breastplate (it's talking about the Messiah Yahushua), and a helmet of salvation on his head; and he put on the garments of vengeance for clothing, and was clad with zeal as a cloke. According to their deeds, accordingly he will repay, fury to his adversaries, recompense to his enemies; to the coastlands he will fully repay. Interesting words, these obviously are prophecies of the Messiah being our intercessor, because Yahweh warned her there was no intercessor, right. And because Messiah Yahushua put the armor of Yahweh on, he is able to defeat the enemy and fully repay the enemy. We also can put the armor of Yahweh on, and defeat the enemy. Yahushua will recompense the enemies of Yahweh through us, he will. That's what he wants to do, that's why he's in us, that's why Yahushua came to defeat the works of the devil and so he will do it in us, he wants to defeat the works of the devil in you my friend, my brother, my sister, in me. He wants to defeat his enemies through us, are we willing to be agents to do so? So shall they fear the name of Yahweh from the west, (How would they fear the name of Yahweh unless you're calling upon it.) And His glory from the rising of the sun; When the enemy comes in like a flood, the Spirit of Yahweh will lift up a standard against him, I love that. Enemy comes in, the spirit of Yahweh lifts up the standard. What's the standard? Torah, the law of Yahweh. That's what Yahushua did when the enemy came down and tempted them. What did he do? Out come the sword out of the sheath, it is written right, it is written, men should not live by bread alone, but by every word proceeds out of the mouth about Yahweh. The Redeemer will come to Zion, and to those turn from transgression in Jacob, says Yahweh. Got to turn away from our transgressions, got to do it. He'll come. Very prophetic scripture where Yahweh has awesome promises for us, we are Israel through Yahushua by the way. Don't don't say it's just for those in Jacob, no, no, no, we are in Jacob, we are in Israel. The Redeemer will come to those who repent, who turn from their transgressions and his name will be glorified, his name will be feared.
The enemy really will come in like a flood according
to Revelation, talk about that in a minute. As for me, this is my covenant with them; My spirit whose upon you, and my words which I have put in your mouth, shall not depart from your mouth, nor from the mouth of your descendants, nor from the mouth of your descendants descendants, says Yahweh, for this time and forever. I proclaim that promise from my children, the word of Yahweh will not depart from your mouth, on the mouth of your children, my grandchildren. I'm going to claim that promise.
Prophetic scripture, and it will really welcoming
like a flood by the way, says Revelation 12:15; the serpent spewed water out of his mouth like a flood after the woman, he might cause her to be carried away of the flood. But the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened its mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon has spewed out of his mouth. And the dragon was enraged with the woman, and he went to make war with the rest of her offspring, which keep the commandments of Elohim,
and have the testimony of Yahushua the Messiah.

Both, got both, I teach both, an enemy, it can
there be any doubt as to who these people are. Listen they are keeping the commandments, the Torah and we got the testimony of Yahushua. We're the ones the enemy is after, you, you who keep
the commandments, you who put your faith in
Yahushua, he's after you, you've got to put on Messiah, you have to put on Messiah, put on the Master Yahushua Messiah and make no provision for the flesh to fulfill its lusts, no provision whatsoever. And guess what happens when you put on Messiah Yahushua, you'll be strong in Yahweh. Ephesians 6:10; Finally, my brethren, be strong in Yahweh, and the power of his might. And you'll be able to put on the whole armor of Elohim, as Yahushua did, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in high places.
And that same armor that our Savior Yahushua used
to defeat the enemy, will be on us because we put on Messiah Yahushua. Therefore take up the whole armor of Elohim, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Therefore, having girded your waist with truth (your word is truth, grant me your truth), having put on the breastplate of righteousness; And having shod your feet with the preparation of the good news (gospel) of peace. Above all, taking the shield of faith, with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation (because the enemy is after your head), and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of Elohim (that is the
Torah, that's the law of Yahweh).
You got your sword as Yahushua took the sword out of its sheath and defeated the enemy. That's your offensive piece of armor, that's your offensive of piece of armor with which you will be able to defeat the enemy. The very thing, the Psalmist did not want to have removed from his mouth, right. And I will walk at liberty: for I seek your precepts. Freedom, freedom, I will speak of your testimonies also before kings, and will not be ashamed. No matter who it is, no matter what power those people have, I will say, I'm not gonna be ashamed of the tour of your precepts of the things that you've taught me because you're the king of kings. I will delight myself in your commandments, which I love. My hands also, I will lift up to your commandments which I love, I will meditate on your statutes. And some people might say my goodness this guy's practically worshiping the law, listen carefully,
listen very carefully, with the sword of the
spirit we will be able to keep his law. Because that's our offensive piece of armor, that's the thing that keeps us from being defeated. We will be able to walk at liberty through the power of his spirit, yes. Yahushua said my words are spirit, they are life, John 6:63; and the words I speak he said they are spirit, they are alive. So be able to walk at liberty, freedom from the enemy who would seek to enslave us to sin.
Because unlike which you may have heard liberty is
not the freedom to live like you want, it's the power to live like you should. It's the freedom from the guilt of sin that's freedom and the empowerment to overcome sin that's liberty, that's freedom we must first delight ourselves in his ways. We must desire love, we're not really loving until we love the way of love. How can you not like the way of love but then say you're walking in love? We must love the Torah which is the way of love and you can't love Yahushua until you first love the Torah, right. Because in the beginning was the word, John 1:1, and the word was with Elohim and the word was Elohim and he was in the beginning with Elohim. And it says the word became flesh. Yahushua became he is the personification, the embodiment of the word and dwell among us and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the father, full of grace and truth. We saw what a glorious thing, what a wonderful man he was, that glory came from Yahweh, that righteousness came from the father so when he says he lifts up his hands, the commandments, he's really lifting up his hands to our Savior Yahushua,
that's what he's doing.
Some will reproach you because of your love for Yahweh's law but really it's just a love for Yahushua, love for how he lived his life, Torah observance, don't limit your thoughts of Torah observance to just keeping the Sabbath day or the feast day or eating clean or something like that. Torah observance is loving your enemy, if you're just
watching part 3 of one of the first 2 parts.
Torah is just a Hebrew word for law, it means teaching, it's the first 5 books of the bible and many people of have thought those things are done away with, I'm telling you they're not. The Torah teaches us to love our enemies, to care for the lives of others, to treat other people how you want to be treated, it's about loving Yahweh, the one who deserves love more than anyone. Wouldn't it be wonderful to live in a world where everyone did just that? One day we're going to see it, for 1000 years we're going to see it.
It shall come to pass in the latter days, that the
mountain of the Yahweh's house shall be established on the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and people shall flow to it. Many nations shall come and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of Yahweh, to the house of the Mighty One in Jacob; he will teach us of his ways, and we shall walk in his paths: for out of Zion the law shall go forth, and the word of Yahweh from Jerusalem.
He shall judge between many people, and rebuke
strong nations are far-off: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war anymore. But everyone shall sit under his under his vine, under his fig tree; and no one shall make them afraid: for the mouth of Yahweh of hosts has spoken it. For all people will walk each in the name of his Elohim, but we will walk in the name of Yahweh our Mighty One forever and ever. Wow, I guess the name and the law will be important in those days what do I do? I proclaim his name and his law because it's going to be a something that's a priority to him.
Another verse about the name says, Zephaniah 3:9;
Then I will restore to the people a pure language, that they all may all call on the name of Yahweh, to serve him with one accord. Right now a bunch of translations of the word in different languages has taken out the name of Yahweh from people's vocabulary. It won't be the case in future days Yahweh will be king over all the earth and that day I shall be Yahweh as one is named one. Zachariah 13:9 says; I will bring the one third through fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and test them as gold is tested (we are going through that refinement, (brothers and sisters and this great tribulation is coming): they will call on my name, and I will answer them: I will say, this is my people (this is my people
they call on my name and each one will say, can you
imagine you're calling upon the name of Yahweh
can you hear his voice saying this is my people):

and each one will say, Yahweh is my Mighty One.
He is my strength, the source of all my might is from him and him alone. And through him I can walk in his Torah.
Father Yahweh your word is just awesome, I love it, I

love the heart that's being expressed here in
Psalms 119. I pray father Yahweh that we would all capture that,
we repent of not expressing anything
different, we are for expressing anything different than what's being expressed in that Psalms. We long for your kingdom to be established on the earth, establish it father, let you will be done on the earth. But first establish it on this earthen vessel our own selves, you remember that we were dust and you gave us a new life and we are a new creation of the Messiah Yahushua.
Empower us to walk in your statutes, to keep your
judgments and do them. Forgive us where we have failed to do so and where we have been unforgiving or bitter toward those who have wronged us. deliver us from the enemy as we have put on the Messiah Yahushua and all the armor that's associated with it.
For we know and we are sure, yours is the kingdom
and the power and the glory and all praise and honor and worship belongs to you, Yahweh Eloheinu, Yahweh Almighty One, forever and ever in Yahushua's great name we pray, Amein
