We are going to get to today’s study. Which is going to be part 2 of last weeks study . It’s going to be at least a four part study altogether. Next week will go on to part three and part 4 the following week.

But before we get started today I do want to talk about something that I meant to talk about last week but I didn’t for whatever reason, it just didn’t cross my mind I don’t know why. It’s just something that is so exciting and I’m looking forward to sharing it.

But I want to tell you on a personal level about the feast of tabernacles that we are planning on hosting in Eminence, Mo, which is in the south central part of the state of Missouri. I think this is going to be our 5th year at this facility.

And every year is a unique blessing, with a unique group. I learn something every year and gain something and definitely get to meet a lot of wonderful people.

There are no better human beings on the planet than Yahweh’s people and I say that because I really mean it. And I’ve been very blessed to go on ministry trips and meet a lot of you. It is just awesome to meet you, it really is. I look forward to meeting a lot of new people.

But, we are looking forward to that very much, and it’s always a blessing to see faces and old faces that I’ve gotten to know so well, and I’ve been very blessed by. To me it’s so very enriching to have that fellowship with one another.

You know, you don’t have really much in the way of anything in the way of fellowship, and this is one time of year hopefully, at least one time of year that I can encourage all of you to get up out of your chair where ever you’re listening to the broadcast.

And join us for some live services in the flesh. A real person. And get to see people that are attending, and develop relationships with other people in the body of Messiah. I feel that it is so important that we develop relationships.

That we communicate with one another. Even though we are scattered, there are lots of reasons why we are able to come together and fellowship. And I know some of you are saying “times are rough, I don’t have the money to travel to Eminence, Mo.”

But listen, if you don’t have the money to travel to Eminence, Mo, to join us for the Feast of Tabernacles, then do either one of two things. 1.) Find somewhere that’s closer or 2.) Don’t be afraid to ask if there is money in the Feast fund!

Every year we have a Feast fund where we basically help people financially to be able to come to the Feast. And those who are blessed in material things can contribute to the Feast fund to help those who otherwise would not be able to join us for the feast.

Now, a lot of you are possibly in need of Baptisms. And you don’t know of anybody around you who would be able to or who you would be willing to have baptize you, and if you are wanting me to baptize you, that is one of the things that we do.

That is one of the highlights of the week. We get a pretty nice group together, anywhere between 20 or 30 something people together to get baptized in Yahushua’s name. So, that is another good reason to come to Missouri.

I know of one brother who came all the way from Norway to our home in the Ozarks to get baptized and to actually get married in the names of Yahweh and Yahushua. And a brother a couple yrs ago came all the way out from Germany to get baptized.

And a sister came all the way from Australia to get baptized. Hawaii…we have had people come from all over to come to our little Feast here in Eminence. And join us to get baptized and to have fellowship with one another. And so it is a blessed time.

We’ve had a lot of positive feedback from those who have come to the feast. So anyway I just want to encourage you to really pray about it and ask for Yahweh to provide a way if you are unable to. And don’t be afraid to ask about Feast fund in you are in need.

So anyway, if you’re new to Feast keeping, maybe you’re thinking–“boy, I don’t know if I’ll fit in, I’m this or I’m that.” No, you will fit in just fine, because we are all this and we’re all that!

We all have areas that we have not been perfected, and weaknesses and challenges. And that’s’ one reason why we come together, is so we can draw strength from one another, and be empowered by the fruits of fellowship with one another.

That’s something the first assembly had quite a lot of -fellowship. I guess, you know, we don’t really have it quite like they had it. And so here is the opportunity. And so if you’re new to Feast keeping or even to just camping, you don’t have to worry really.

You’ve got plenty of support. We typically have a team of young men that go out and help set the tent up and get things going, to give you a hand. We’re all about serving. That’s what it’s all about, to be a believer , to serve each other.

We help support people through the week. Answer any questions. And if you think “tent? Ugh. That’s not really my bag. I don’t think I can handle it.” Then that’s fine. We have lodge rooms. You can bring up to eight with you.

To sleep in the lodge rooms. So, even if you have a pretty large family, you can still use one of the rooms. This year the date of the Feast is going to depend when we witness, with our eyes here the new moon.

If we see the moon in this area or somewhere similar on the night of what’s called September 28th, then the 1st day of the Feast will be October 13 th, and the last day of the Feast will be October 20th.

I want to say also that if you keep a little different calendar than I do, maybe you’re calendar is different in how you understand the calendar, that doesn’t matter to me. You can still join us. There is not going to be people standing over you pointing fingers.

That is not what we’re about. We’re about unity. The main thing is you believe what is right. And it is the same for me and the same for all of us. And that’s where we come together in unity.

So anyway, you want to come a day before. You want to arrive on the 12th because that very night is actually sundown, so the Feast begins that night. So you want to arrive the day before. Get your tents set up.

If you’re a little bit late getting in. A little bit after sundown. That’s OK. Yahweh said we can set up our tents on the first day of the Feast. So that’s alright also. And that’s in Leviticus 23 I think. But anyway, the first day and last day are holy days.

No work is to be done, except food preparation or in this case setting up your tents. And so anyways, as far as facilities go, this is a campground run by non- denominational Christians who are very accommodating and professional.

They do a great job and this is our 5th yr there. They got 39 campsites. Last year we basically used them all. All the campsites were used. So the earlier you get in the more likely you’ll get the campsite you want.

Assuming our attendance is similar to last year or better. 15 of the campsites have water and electric and 20 of them have water, electric and sewer. One site has 50 amp for RV’s.. They all have fire rings. And then we got a screened in pavilion with refrigerator.

There is the Rail Tree Lodge and the Iron Stake Lodge and they have plenty of clean restrooms and commodes around. There is 12 rooms available over all for rent in the Lodges. 2 of them are wheel chair accessible.

So if you have anyone who is disabled, we should accommodate you just fine. Just let me know ahead of time that you need that room. Then there is little things like badminton, horseshoes, volleyball, canoeing.

We plan on a canoe trip. We plan on doing the climbing wall. There is a high ropes course. You walk across the high ropes and then at the end, the reward is you have a 600 foot zip line through a valley that is probably about 50 feet in the air or so.

But I’m just guessing. Then there is the activity field which is about half the size of a soccer field. As far as internet out there, that’s going to be a little bit of a challenge this year. Depending on what king of a connection I’m able to get.

I will try and get it through my cell phone. And for those that need it, you can at least get your email. But beyond that, it’s not going to be the fastest internet connection in the world. We will see how it goes. But we are going to try and get you internet.

And if your looking at flying in, we have the St. Louis airport and we have the Branson airport which is actually just a little bit closer and certainly is a better ride coming in. flybranson.com. Check that out.

Usually you can get better rates at Branson than St. Louis. We are going to plan a meeting everyday. Possibly every other day. I’m mulling it over this year how we are going to do that. We plan on doing lessons for children.

Lots of music, praise and scripture studies on a daily basis. And then we’re going to do Hebrew lesson’s again this year. To add a little bit of a encouragement to learn the language we’re going to have quizzes for anyone that attends the classes.

And you should be able to read Hebrew by the end of the class fairly well. If you complete and attend every class, and you pass the final lesson, then I will give you a free book on Hebrew grammar.

Hopefully that will be an encouragement to you. And so if you want to learn Hebrew language, hopefully this will be a little bit more of an incentive for you to learn the language. And once you learn the letters, you can learn the grammar.

And how it functions. So anyway, as far as meals go, everyone will provide their own food, but we will have a scheduled communal meal where we all come together and bring our food and enjoy our meal together for each of the holy days.

The Sabbath and the 2 holy days. And a lot of times the brethren just want to get together for every meal. So if you want to do that just bring your food to the big tent and have meal together rather than eating by yourself by your campsite.

Just bring the food to the big tent. Or the screened in pavilion might not be a bad idea either. Either the pavilion or the big tent. Just get together. Sit down together and eat together. There is a blessing in that.

Those who stay in the Iron stake lodge will have access to a kitchen. With a refrigerator, stove, water and so on. And those outside the Iron Stake can use it as long as those folks that stay there don’t mind. But they’ll have priority access to that.

Now we love the activities because it’s a way for us all to get out together and just have a good time. To have fellowship, to have challenges together and overcome those challenges.

I just really encourage you to participate in those. If you can. If you can afford them. Those are the paid activities. The other activities we are going to do – for the children, scripture treasure hunt, broad path and narrow path and things like that.

Then during the week I want to do something that we’ve done in the past. And that is to have the blessings of special meetings. The men’s meeting and the woman’s meeting.

All of us men get together and learn how to be better husbands and fathers. The challenges that we face are unique. Woman also come together for tea time and discuss anything from home-school ideas to Sabbath preparation.

Of course we are going to have a tassel making party. So if you don’t know how to tie your tassels, you attend the party and by the time it’s the end of the party, you will know how to do it.

And so we will have someone teaching that. I never want to run our schedule so ragged that we never have time getting together, fellowship, round table, scripture studies, impromptu music, praising YHWH around the campfire or just getting to know each other.

Because the closer we are in relationships with each other, the more we have someone to turn to in times of need. Whether its spiritual need, financial need or whatever need we have.

So anyway, if you are able to contribute to the Feast fund, please do. Just send money to the open treasury. The alms fund and designate that specifically to be used for the Feast and we will get that into the right hands.

If you want to get in on that blessing please contribute. And if you need that blessing do not be prideful. Just ask. We will find a way. And the earlier you tell me, the better it is.

So if you would like to join us, actually the pricing on the page right now is 5% too high.

The price will actually be a little bit lower than you see right now on the Feast page. If you want to read more about it, I encourage you to do so. Eliyah.com/fot/2011.html.

It does get a little cooler this time of year in Mid October. We can see mid to upper 40’s at night. But if you just bring a nice, warm sleeping bag, its not really that big of a deal. At least for me it isn’t.

It’s a blessing and a reminder that this is not our permanent home. We are in a tent. This body is our tent. And it sometimes is uncomfortable to be in this tent.

It’s part of it. But usually during the day, we see lower 70’s. Very nice weather during the day, so it makes up for it. For the tents at night we get these little Mr. Buddy tent heaters you see at Walmart.

Just put one of those cans of propane in there and fire it up and your tent will be as toasty as anything. You can check it out Eliyah.com/Fot /2011.html. If you are planning on signing up, sign up sooner rather than later. I would very much appreciate that.

It makes it a lot easier on me and everyone else who plans things out. For those of you on the council of 12, I am so sorry, I’ve been so busy. I do want to get together with you and discuss some of the details this year. I will be doing that this week.

If we are able to get together somewhere on a chat room somewhere, I want to do that. I’m hoping there will be some elders again. Every year we want elders to be present. If you are and elder and you can share a teaching, we are wide open to that.

We have one brother planning on teaching a study on health. He has got a lot of information and a lot of knowledge in that area. We’re open to anything that you have to share and we’ll make plans for that. So, getting back to our plan for today.

We want to share part 2 of the study I started last week on stumbling blocks. The beginning part of last week we went over the first stumbling block which we understand to be Satan, the Devil, the Accuser, the enemy, the adversary.

There was so much information, that I thought I was going to share it all in one week but I just felt like I had a lot more to share. So we’re going to go to a part 2. We need to know the enemy. We need to not be ignorant of his devices.

We’ve already examined the very meaning of the word Satan. In Hebrew pronounce Sah-tahn. It means an adversary, an enemy. One who would attack or figuratively, one who accuses. We did touch a little bit last week about healing our physical bodies.

How the enemy is actually able to inflict physical diseases on people. It was true in the days Yahushua was walking the earth and it’s also true today. He hasn’t changed his plan or mode of operendi or whatever. But he is a major, major stumbling block.

He is constantly trying to cause the people of Yahweh to slip up. So we talked about how physical diseases can be a stumbling block for us and how he is able to inflict physical diseases on people through sins that have been committed and not forsaken.

John 5:5 – Now a certain man was there who had an infirmity thirty-eight years.

John 5:6 – When Yahushua saw him lying there, and knew that he already had been [in that condition] a long time, He said to him, Do you want to be made well?

John 5:7 – The sick man answered Him, Sir, I have no man to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up; but while I am coming, another steps down before me.

It’s talking about the pool in which people would be healed when the angel stirred up the water and whoever came into the water first would be the one who would be healed of whatever sickness or infirmity that he had.

John 5:8 – Yahushua said to him, Rise, take up your bed and walk.

John 5:9 – And immediately the man was made well, took up his bed, and walked. And that day was the Sabbath.

Very simple, Yahushua walks over to him and says, “do you want to be made well?” And the man tries to explain why he can’t get healed. And He says “rise, take up your bed and walk.” Easy as that. And he went and told some folks about it.

And they didn’t like the fact that he was healed on the Sabbath, carrying his bed and so on.

John 5:14 – Afterward Yahushua found him in the temple, and said to him, See, you have been made well. Sin no more, lest a worse thing come upon you.

So in these verses we see, Yahushua the Messiah by himself connecting a sin with a physical disease. In this case a disease in which a man was not able to walk. And to me this is quite remarkable.

I mean, how many disease do we deal with, health food industry created, medical community created. All these things to try to solve problems that we have with our human bodies.

And I wonder how many diseases, sicknesses and so on that we have, are actually caused by sin.

Sin that we are committing and Satan is able to inflict on us because he has the grounds to inflict this kind of pain. Notice he said “sin no more lest a worse thing come upon you.”

That’s very similar to what Yahushua said in another place in Matthew 12

Matthew 12:43 – When an unclean spirit goes out of a man, he goes through dry places, seeking rest, and finds none.

Matthew 12:44 – Then he says, `I will return to my house from which I came.’ And when he comes, he finds [it] empty, swept, and put in order.

Matthew 12:45 – Then he goes and takes with him seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter and dwell there; and the last [state] of that man is worse than the first. So shall it also be with this wicked generation.

So that is actually what happened to that generation. The generation that Yahushua lived in. He came, He healed all their diseases. He cast out the enemy in various places. And in the end, what did the crowds demand? Drive stakes in those hands that healed!

And those feet which taught them the way in which they should walk and hang him! And so the last state of that generation is worse than the first because they turned away from Him. But you know, this is what I love about Yahweh, the One we serve.

He used that very thing to bring salvation to the whole world. To me that is awesome. That’s what Yahweh does. He takes the deeds of the enemy and causes those very deeds to ultimately destroy the enemy’s greater plans.

So even in what he allows the enemy to do. And maybe He allows him to have small victories.

But in those small victories, he causes Satan to lose the war. And to me that’s awesome. Another scripture demonstrating spiritual roots to diseases is:

James 5:14 – Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of YAHWEH.

James 5:15 – And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and YAHWEH will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.

James 5:16 – Confess [your] trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.

So here we see sickness being connected to sin that has been committed. Now, I wonder how many times people have come for a healing service and been anointed and prayed over? I’m realizing now that there may be some sin that has to be confessed.

It doesn’t mean that there definitely is, but there might be.

James 5:16 – Confess [your] trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.

That is what brings healing. That is what, to me, is pretty amazing. Do we do that when we see this prayer service going on? The anointing of oil and so on? I’m careful to note, that it says here if he has committed sins he will be forgiven.

If you have a medical problem, I’m not one to judge that this condition is definitely coming from some kind of sin. But it is quite possible that there is a spiritual root to it and Satan has managed to take advantage of it.

It says that there is a need for the person himself to call for the Elders. Sometimes people almost get pushed into a healing service. It’s the responsibility of the person to go to the Elders and ask to be anointed with oil and prayed over.

And that in itself is an act of faith. It’s that act of faith that a lot of times will result in the healing.

Also it says here that it is the Elders that you are supposed to go to. There is a reason for that. The Elders are the ones who are in authority.

They are most likely to be the most righteous men through who prayer avails much. Because you have to be qualified in order to be an Elder. And of course one of those qualifications is that they are older. To me that is what Elder means. One who is older.

And reading from the Torah we see that those from ages 30 to 50 functioned in the ministry of the tabernacle and so on. What happened when the men became 50 years old? Did they just disappear? No, they were the ones who were the Elders.

Because they were older. Now some of you watching the broadcast today might disagree with me but I’m not an Elder. I’m only 41 years old and I’m not qualified to be an Elder at this time so I don’t really try and function in that role.

When there is an Elder like decision, I consult with Elders. So I, like all the brethren, am a minister and servant seeking what Yahweh told me to do, which is keep the commandments. Even the least of them and teach men so. So that’s what I’m trying to do.

But getting back to the point here, there are times when we have diseases or infirmities and we want to be healed. But the reason why we are not healed is because we have some kind of sin in our life. Some area in our life that is not pleasing to the Father.

That it has not been dealt with properly. Now last year I went to this conference just before the ministry trip. And it just amazed me some of the things I learned about the inner workings of how spiritual problems that we have actually create sickness & disease.

And how when we resolve those spiritual issues, we actually end up getting healed from those things. Now medically I’ll give you an example here of fear and anxiety. Fear and anxiety. Stress.

Medically speaking, various expressions of fear, anxiety, stress, tension, panic attacks, phobias all affect our bodies physiologically through the hypothalamus glands. And if we have issues with fear, it can have a direct effect on our health.

When we walk in fear, our bodies naturally produce cortisol as a normal fight or flight response to various situations.

Well according to medical information, just by observation, when we have a long term secretion of cortisol, it has a huge effect on our bodies.

For instance, it inhibits the production of macrophages, which is a type of white blood cell. Helper T cells which produce B cells and antibodies are reduced.

And when we have a reduction of B cells, then our bodies try to do anything to attack whatever is coming. It sees the antigens which produce the antibodies and sees those things as being the enemy. And so we have a sub par, compromised immune system just because we have issues with fear, stress, anxiety, worry and so on.

That’s how medically it functions. Now I’m not a medical doctor. But people who are, have written materials and medical books that plainly show this. How many times have we heard about some new study showing how stress is a factor in various diseases.

The medical community basically is just now catching up with what Yahweh’s word has said for 2000 years or more. That is, our medical problems are not just physical only.

There are mental and spiritual roots that has an impact on how effective our bodies are at dealing with potential diseases. Yahweh did not create our bodies to walk in unholy fear and worry. He did not create our bodies in the Garden of Eden so that we would be having to deal with bitterness or hatred or deceptions or unbelief.

That is not what our bodies were created for. That is an unnatural and foreign thing for the way our bodies were intended to be operated. He created our bodies to walk in righteousness. He created our bodies to walk in faith, security and trust in Yahweh almighty.

He created our bodies to keep the Sabbath day. Which is one of the things that helps to relieve the stress that we would normally find piling up in our life. So we have these things that Yahweh has told us to do.

When we fail to walk in the way that we were created to walk, it does have an impact and we can give Satan ground to take advantage of us. Because he can actually bind someone with a disease and put and inflict a disease on people.

Now you might say, “I’m a believer, how can that be?”

2Corinthians 2:10 – Now whom you forgive anything, I also [forgive]. For if indeed I have forgiven anything, I have forgiven that one for your sakes in the presence of Messiah,

2Corinthians 2:11 – lest Satan should take advantage of us; for we are not ignorant of his devices.

You see, Satan knows that unforgiveness gives Satan a way to take advantage of us. And so He just says, “if you forgive him, I forgive him.” He doesn’t want there to be division in the body of Messiah.

He doesn’t want there to be bitterness in the body of Messiah. And unforgiveness. He knows that Satan can take advantage of that when we are at odds with each other. When we are being unforgiving towards each other. So he just says, “whoever you forgive, I forgive.” And that’s a good rule of thumb.

If other people are not flipping out over it, then I shouldn’t be either. And I should forgive. Another example where Satan can literally inflict a disease on someone is:

Luke 13:11 – And behold, there was a woman who had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bent over and could in no way raise [herself] up.

Luke 13:12 – But when Yahushua saw her, He called [her] to [Him] and said to her, Woman, you are loosed from your infirmity.

Luke 13:13 – And He laid [His] hands on her, and immediately she was made straight, and glorified Elohim.

Luke 13:14 – But the ruler of the synagogue answered with indignation, because Yahushua had healed on the Sabbath; and he said to the crowd, There are six days on which men ought to work; therefore come and be healed on them, and not on the Sabbath day.

Luke 13:15 – The Master then answered him and said, Hypocrite! Does not each one of you on the Sabbath loose his ox or donkey from the stall, and lead [it] away to water it?

Luke 13:16 – So ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan has bound — think of it — for eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the Sabbath?

Now what I want to draw attention to, is the fact that we have Satan actually inflicting, in this case, what sounded like osteoporosis. You know, when your neck is bent over and you can’t walk straight up?

I have been reading a book by the person who put on this conference that I attended. His name is Henry Wright. I got it here actually. If you want the ISBN number?

Actually I hate to recommend anybody who’s not a Torah observant person, but he seems to be heading in that direction because he doesn’t keep Easter. He keeps Passover. Any way the ISBN number, if you want to write it down is 9781603741019. It’s a national best seller actually and it’s called: “A More Excellent Way.”

In this book he makes a pretty good case for connections between physical diseases and spiritual problems. And he explains medically why it happens that way.

A Medical doctor, in fact on the cover here has a quote, who said “thank you for your valuable insights into healing which are much more comprehensive and effective than anything modern medicine has to offer. We really need to learn some of these things. The author of this book is Henry W Wright (henrywwright.com).

I don’t agree with everything he teaches, so I’m not saying everything he has here is gold. But some of the connections he puts together between spiritual roots and physical diseases is amazing. He has a lot of experience with seeing people getting healed after dealing with their spiritual problems.

So anyway, we can’t sit in denile and say that the enemy is unable to put diseases on people, when we see a very clear case here in scripture where that was the case. In this instance it was called a spirit of infirmity.

Another example where Satan was able to take advantage of somebody was Paul himself.

2Corinthians 12:7 – And lest I should be exalted above measure by the abundance of the revelations, a thorn in the flesh was given to me, a messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I be exalted above measure.

2Corinthians 12:8 – Concerning this thing I pleaded with YAHWEH three times that it might depart from me.

2Corinthians 12:9 – And He said to me, My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness. Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Messiah may rest upon me.

2Corinthians 12:10 – Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Messiah’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

So we see here that Yahweh wanted to keep Paul humble. He had a lot of deep understandings of truth and Yahweh knows knowledge puffs up. But he had some kind of physical problem. What exactly was the physical problem?

Well, just looking at various texts, there is some evidence that the physical problem may have been his eyesight. There are different places that indicate that. People that were writing for him would sign in his own name with large letters.

Different things like that. In one place when people saw his infirmities, he said, “if you could, you would have taken out your eyes and given them to me.”

Whatever it was, he had some kind of a problem that appears to be a medical issue of some kind to where Yahweh allowed it in his life. Quite possibly, partly as a judgment of former sins even before he was believer. He was the first one to kill a believer in the Messiah. They put his clothes at his feet. I don’t know. Yahweh knows.

But anyway, we do see where Satan can be a source of stumbling in terms of physical ailments. He’s a very active force in the world. People don’t want to acknowledge that, and maybe that’s one of his most powerful tools. Concealment.

If we deny his involvement, then he can work in the background and take advantage of us without us knowing. But we can’t be ignorant of him and gravitate to the other extreme and think he’s doing things that he’s not even responsible for.

For instance, “the devil made me do it” mindset is dangerous. Even though he may try and cause us to stumble, we are responsible for being over comers and we cannot blame him for our sin. It didn’t work for Eve, did it? She tried to blame the devil

for her error. That the serpent deceived her. But she was still judged. Sometimes people will invent these grandiose ideas and stories about what Satan is doing or has done, and it may not even be true.

But you know, I think Satan will gladly glory in all the power a person will try and give him. Especially if he didn’t even do it. I try to find a correct balance if it is obviously something Satan is a part of. I think it’s better and wiser to have the attitude that Job had.

We see clearly that Satan is attacking a believer.

Job 1:9 – So Satan answered YAHWEH and said, Does Job fear Elohim for nothing?

Job 1:10 – Have You not made a hedge around him, around his household, and around all that he has on every side? You have blessed the work of his hands, and his possessions have increased in the land.

Job 1:11 – But now, stretch out Your hand and touch all that he has, and he will surely curse You to Your face!

Job 1:12 – And YAHWEH said to Satan, Behold, all that he has [is] in your power; only do not lay a hand on his [person]. So Satan went out from the presence of YAHWEH.

And hopefully you know the rest of the story. Job was afflicted mightily by what seemed to be a very supernatural destruction.

And yet, all the time Job was being afflicted by Satan and unclean spirits, he wasn’t jumping up and yelling at Satan, “get out” and all these other things. Maybe there is a place for that. But what was he doing? What was his attitude?

Well, he knew that it was Yahweh who gave the green light and permitted the destruction in his life and he regarded that as something Yahweh permitted.

And therefore, he cried out to Yahweh for deliverance. Now to have any bitterness at all towards Yahweh may be a difficult pill to swallow. But if you have complete trust in Yahweh’s wisdom. That he does give the green light for every evil thing that happens in the world. Then we can have Job’s attitude and say:

Job 13:15 – Though He slay me, yet will I trust Him. Even so, I will defend my own ways before Him.

We know Yahushua was one who was slain. Many of the apostle’s were slain by Satanically inspired murders. But they considered it to be something by which they could glorify Yahweh.

Because they wanted to walk as Yahushua walked and be persecuted for righteousness sake. Have you ever thought of it in those terms. Job was actually being persecuted by Satan because he was righteous and Satan wanted to pick a fight with him. That’s why Satan hated him and accused him. Well, it’s also true about us.

We will have persecution, which is part of being a believer. We’ve picked sides here. We’ve chose Yahweh’s side and therefore were going to have some persecutions.

John 16:33 – These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.

Titus 3:12 – When I send Artemas to you, or Tychicus, be diligent to come to me at Nicopolis, for I have decided to spend the winter there.

So it’s part of our walk as believer’s in Yahushua and we don’t have to get bitter over that. If we have things happen to us. If we have men that are inspired to do evil to us.

We have these enemies and people coming after us and attacking us from every side. Maybe even as children we were being attacked. Moshe was attacked as a child. Yahushua was attacked as a child.

It’s just a sign that Satan does not want that child to grow up because he knows that child is going to be a great man or woman for Yahweh. We have to understand and not be bitter over whatever abuses we had that Satan was able to convince men to do and recognize that Yahweh did allow that.

And Yahweh, if we trust in him, will turn that around and cause it to fall right on the enemy’s head and smash him. But if we get bitter over it, then we allow the enemy to get the victory over us. And we can’t allow that. So if we’ve had problems and things in our life and things that happen to us. If we are willing to accept it. That Yahweh permitted it.

Not that he wanted people to do evil. But he allowed it and he will use that wicked thing, that wicked, wicked thing and turn it around and cause it to prevent even others from going through the same thing or whatever.

There are all kinds of ways he can cause what the enemies mean for evil and turn it around for our good and the good of others. We have that opportunity if we’ve been through those kinds of experiences. And we don’t have to be bitter.

Because, the way I look at it, whatever experience I had as a child, I can look at it and say “well, that must have been what I needed for me today to be a disciple of Yahushua the Messiah and I can rejoice in it.

Otherwise maybe if it didn’t happen, I would be some arrogant unbeliever that didn’t care about spiritual things. So, whatever it was I went through and have gone through since being a believer, I can say – praise Yahweh!

Because it must be what I need to stay humble and for me to be where I’m at today. At least today, and Yahweh willing the rest of my life, be his servant. So HalleluYah.

So if we are being caused to stumble by various wiles of the devil and so forth, how can we get free from those things? How can we overcome and not fall when the enemy is seeking to attack us?

Well the first thing we need to realize is that we don’t stand against flesh and blood but against principalities and powers. And so we need to stand in a defensive posture. To be sober, to be vigilant, to be aware, and make use of our offensive piece of equipment that we are given.

Which is the sword. There is a lesson given here:

Ephesians 6:11 – Put on the whole armor of Elohim, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

Ephesians 6:12 – For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual [hosts] of wickedness in the heavenly [places].

This is a real battle brothers. This is not some little fairy tale. This is a true battle in the spiritual realm.

That’s what we are wrestling against! That’s what we need to be on guard against! I think too many times we don’t realize that. And we have a tendency to attack the person who is being used by the enemy.

And they may be at fault where they are being used, but not really paying attention to the fact that there is a higher power that is tempting them and causing them to stumble to do the things that they do to you. A lot of times they don’t realize it.

And a lot of times were being tempted and we’re failing and don’t realize the real source of things. And so what do we got to do? Verse 13

Ephesians 6:13 – Therefore take up the whole armor of Elohim, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

So if we don’t put on the whole armor, we are not going to do a very good job standing against the enemy. We take a defensive posture. Here’s the defensive equipment that says :

Ephesians 6:14 – Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness,

Where are we going to get the truth? From the word of Yahweh. Where do we get the righteousness? From the Messiah Yahushua, who is our righteousness.

Ephesians 6:15 – and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

So the good news and peace have a lot to do with each other and we have to be willing to walk out there in the midst of the battle and shod our feet with that good news and proclaim it! If we’re just sitting around doing nothing, then we’re easy pickens.

But if we’re busy about our fathers work, then we are actually going to increase in our faith. And we’re actually going to be better off standing against the enemy. You know, the times I’m strongest spiritually is when I’m out doing ministry.

The last ministry trip that I made last year. 3 months, 10,000 miles was a spiritual high point in my life. And that’s true!

Ephesians 6:14 – Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness,

Ephesians 6:15 – and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

That is a strong piece of armor in which you stand! The same is true, even during the feast and so on, when I’m around my brothers and sisters I feel much stronger than out here in the middle of the woods of the Ozarks of southern Missouri.

Ephesians 6:16 – above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one.

How do we gain faith? Faith comes by hearing. Hearing by the word of Elohim. So that’s our defensive equipment. And there is also:

Ephesians 6:17 – And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of Elohim;

Ephesians 6:18 – praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints–

Interesting. So with this equipment. With the sword, with the helmet, with all these things.

Ephesians 6:18 – praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints–

Persevere in our prayers and supplication for who? For all the saints. So we pray for others. That’s part of a way of getting victory.

You know, if you’re being tempted by something over and over again, a pretty handy way of sending the enemy away from you is to start praying for someone whom you know needs salvation or who is having a hard time spiritually. Start praying for them.

Every time the enemy comes against you, to tempt you, just start praying for somebody. He doesn’t want you to do that! So a lot of times, he’ll just go.

He says, “How am I going to tempt this person over here ?” All he does is start praying for other people and I don’t want that to happen.” So he’ll leave you alone. That’s one of the key things that I feel can be very effective. But we have this sword of the spirit.

That’s the only offensive piece of armor – that sword. And that’s why a person who is bound by Satan, can be freed when we share the word with them in the right manner.

2Timothy 2:24 – And a servant of YAHWEH must not quarrel but be gentle to all, able to teach, patient,

2Timothy 2:25 – in humility correcting those who are in opposition, if Elohim perhaps will grant them repentance, so that they may know the truth,

2Timothy 2:26 – and [that] they may come to their senses [and escape] the snare of the devil, having been taken captive by him to [do] his will.

So we can get free when someone comes to us with that quarrel-less, gentle spirit. Correcting us. Instructing us. And we are set free by that. Now, if you want to be freed from the enemy, seek out the shepherd’s voice.

James 3:13 – Who [is] wise and understanding among you? Let him show by good conduct [that] his works [are done] in the meekness of wisdom.

James 3:14 – But if you have bitter envy and self-seeking in your hearts, do not boast and lie against the truth.

James 3:15 – This wisdom does not descend from above, but [is] earthly, sensual, demonic.

So if we want to be freed from the enemy’s snares, seek out someone who will share the word in peace, humility and gentleness, and the fruit of righteousness will be sown in your heart.

So that you can walk in repentance without the stumbling block of someone trying to convert you with their flesh. Now I’m not claiming to be perfect in that area. I’m just saying, only if you hear the shepherds voice in me, listen and heed. If you don’t hear the shepherds voice, then I’ll just point you to the person who is

perfect in that area. And that’s the shepherd Himself – Yahushua Messiah. He will teach in gentleness and patience if you are willing to hear his voice. He will teach in that manner.

It’s so important brothers, that you study Yahweh’s word for yourselves rather than relying on men alone to guide you. Yahweh can use me to guide us to righteousness. He’s given the gift of teaching to some of us. We just need to be sure that we’re not following into this pattern found in Catholicism and Judaism, which says

“leave the bible learning to us experts! Do not try this at home!” That’s not the way it works. Yahweh wants to be our guide. Guiding us by his spirit. Individually he wants to lead each of us in the way we can bear.

Yahushua is the good shepherd and He will lead us to the green pastures of his word through the still waters of His spirit so that you may eat and drink at a pace that we’re able to handle. Now he may or may not use men to do that.

But when we find the truth for ourselves through personal revelation and study of his word it has the greatest impact. And we’ll often get so excited at what we find. And so this is one very important way of defeating the enemy.

We have to be properly equipped with the sword of his word or we’re going to find ourselves always on the defensive. Always up against the ropes. Always trying to absorb the darts of the enemies. And that wears us out until we fight back with the sword.

Now we’re speaking of a battle here. Look at the way Yahushua dealt with temptation. He was tempted but He (Yahushua) knew the word of Yahweh and so he quoted it to the enemy. And then he said “get behind me Satan.”

And that’s the way that we can also do battle against the enemy. It took the shield of faith. It took these other things. He was ready to go and preach the good news of peace to all men. He had the helmet of salvation. He had the breastplate of righteousness.

He had all these things that was predicted, I think in the book of Isaiah, that he would have. And so, He was able to find victory. And it’s through that same method that you will find victory also. Because there is a battle going on right now, at this moment,

as I’m speaking to you. There is a battle right now for hearts and souls. We’re in the battle! Whether we realize it or not, we are in the battle. No one’s a spectator. Nobody is in the spectator stands watching the battle. Everyone is in it!

No one is on the sidelines. And our battle is not with flesh and blood.

Ephesians 6:12 – For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual [hosts] of wickedness in the heavenly [places].

What is he talking about here? What are these things? What are these principalities and powers? We get a little peak here in the book of Daniel

Daniel 10:12 – Then he said to me, Do not fear, Daniel, for from the first day that you set your heart to understand, and to humble yourself before your Elohim, your words were heard; and I have come because of your words.

There is a battle going on even in Daniel getting revelation here. This is very interesting scripture. I don’t think there was a physical King of Persia standing there trying to fight against this angel. We’re talking about What’s in Ephesians 6.

Ephesians 6:12 – For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual [hosts] of wickedness in the heavenly [places].

It was against these forces that this angel was having to call for reinforcements to fight against. And so there are all kinds of things like this happening in the heavenly realm, in the spiritual realm that we may not know about.

Even Daniel here didn’t know about it at that point. Another example is:

Revelation 2:13 – I know your works, and where you dwell, where Satan’s throne [is]. And you hold fast to My name, and did not deny My faith even in the days in which Antipas [was] My faithful martyr, who was killed among you, where Satan dwells.

Now it’s very interesting, this place here Pergamos. One of the things it was most famous for was its library.

Revelation 2:14 – But I have a few things against you, because you have there those who hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balak to put a stumbling block before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed to idols, and to commit sexual immorality.

So we can see that Satan is there, and he is the one creating stumbling blocks. Right? He is a major stumbling block machine.

And he’s got a hold of men, teaching them his doctrines and through people who are like Baalam, who taught Balak to put a stumbling block before the children of Israel. And there are people in this congregation who are causing others to stumble into things that they ought not stumble in. And so Satan’s methodology has been picked up by some of the congregants there.

And he had that against that particular group. So what is the city of Pergamos? Why is it called Satan’s throne? Now I mentioned that the library was there. And it was world renown.

In fact this library was so famous that the word “parchment” comes from the name of that city. And so Satan no doubt had many of his doctrines, the doctrines of demons, stored at this library.

And it’s the doctrine of demons that’s really the actual root of why people walk in the way they walk as far as idolatry is concerned. And so he had a pull on people by these doctrines of demons. They would worship demons. And so whatever words we believe, have a lot to do with what we actually do physically. In the way we think. Now where would the modern day

synagogue of Satan be now? Where would he dwell? Where do we find a lot of his doctrines being propagated throughout the world? I’m not going to try and say for sure but Hollywood probably looks like a pretty good candidate.

Another problem they had in that particular area was that there were these four temples to four different idols (false deities). They were Zeus, Dionysus, Athena and Asklepios. In the ISBE Bible Encyclopedia it says that “to the temple of the latter,

invalids from all parts of Asia flocked, and there, while they were sleeping in the court, the god revealed to the priests and physicians by means of dreams the remedies which were necessary to heal their maladies. Thus opportunities of deception were numerous.

There was a school of medicine in connection with the temple.” I find this to be interesting because there was a school of medicine there in ancient times.

Even today in some places, if Satan is causing some kind of disease people will call for witch doctors to come out and manipulate evil spirits so that person can get delivered from their ailments. And there is actually a connection, I think between the sorceries of the witch doctors and the drugs that we find on the market today.

Now don’t get offended by this. Just hear me out. The actual word in Greek for sorcery is Pharmakia. From which we get Pharmacy. From which we get pharmaceuticals.

And drugs, just like the ancient witch doctors who used sorcery to drive out, control and manipulate spirits so that they would not create havoc on people. Drugs will create this illusion of healing also, because they effect our bodies by being able to go in and remove the symptom that maybe Satan has placed on a person.

And so they manipulate that evil spirit and prevent him from being able to do the thing he would like to do, which is to cause this to happen, or that to happen or whatever it is.

But the drugs rarely, if ever, actually get to the root cause of the symptoms, which often times is unresolved sin in our life. So we see Satan’s throne was in Pergamos where a lot of medical sorcery was committed. Doctrine of demons were taught in their libraries. We see an example found in Daniel. There is a lot of things going on in the

spiritual realm we may not know about unless Yahweh reveals it to us. And even Daniel was ignorant of it. So Satan basically set up his little Kingdom here on the earth. And there are demons under rank and file much like a normal Kingdom would operate.

But we have to realize that. We live in a world where the enemy, in this case Kings of Persia and different places, has been granted by the people rule over their lives and so they set up Kingdoms in these areas. But we are a part of a different kingdom.

And there is a different Kingdom in which we are subjecting ourselves to. It says here that the reason Yahushua came into the earth was to destroy the works of the devil.

1John 3:8 – He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of Elohim was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.

What were the works of the devil? To cause people to trip up, to gain their affections, to join with him in his doctrines and the way he thinks and does things, and to cause them to turn their hearts away from Yahweh; whether knowingly or through deception.

While man does give Satan that ruler-ship in his life, we who believe in the master Yahushua are going to recognize this:

Matthew 28:18 – And Yahushua came and spoke to them, saying, All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.

Matthew 28:19 – Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,

Matthew 28:20 –

So if we go back to our created purpose in the Garden of Eden. He said to Adam, “take dominion over the earth.” “Everything that’s on the earth I have given you dominion over. Adam.” What did Adam do? He gave dominion to the serpent.

He gave dominion to one of the things Yahweh had created, in this case the serpent who was being used by Satan, the devil. And so what’s our goal? Our goal is to get people to switch sides, right?

We want people to depart the Kingdom that the enemy has set up and get them to follow the Kingdom of Yahweh. We can be co-laborers with Yahushua the Messiah and actually take ground for Him. I got a whole study on this. It’s a study on the Kingdom and it’s on the website.

The importance of walking out our calling by being willing vessels and being used by Yahweh to bring as many people as possible to this realization. That they need to live their lives also, as though Yahushua does have power and authority in Heaven and Earth.

And when we bring a soul into a little bit better way of understanding. Into turning away from some kind of sin in their life. From turning to the Messiah Yahushua. If we are taking part in that, we are subduing and taking dominion over this Earth for Yahweh.

That’s what we’re doing. We are actually walking out our created purpose as sons of Adam. Why we were created was to take dominion over the earth. And if we are willing to see this. That we begin to do ministry. We begin to reach out to our neighbor.

We begin to function in the gifts and callings that Yahweh has given us. Then we also are going to be doing the very thing we were created to do. You know, you’re always happiest when you’re doing what you were created to do.

I bought some ducks a few years ago and I had them in a cage alongside our pond so they wouldn’t fly off. But they had never seen a pond before in their life. Prior to that all they had was a little tub. Now here they were sitting next to this nice

pond, just chomping at the bill wanting to get into that pond. After a couple days, when I let those ducks go, they went straight for the water and it was a glorious sight. And I really feel like Satan many times has us in these little cages.

Where we really need to realize that we are in these little cages, and we’re not really doing what we were created to do. So in these little cages we create manufactured goals, or temporary things that have no spiritual profit and get distracted by those things.

But when we start to think spiritually, and realize why we exist, we will bring glory to Yahweh by doing His work and being about our Fathers business. By taking dominion over the earth, by sharing your faith, by serving the body of Messiah, feeding the poor,

visiting those in prison or whatever. This is why you’re here. You’re not here to eat drink and be merry and live the entertained life. That’s not why we’re here. We’re here to glorify Yahweh to do the things he’s called us to do.

And so that’s our challenge. And our goal is simple. World conquest! That is our goal! That’s what we’re after. That’s why we were created. We want to take over the world. Not through force.

Not through anger. Not through flesh but by the distribution and the proclaiming the Word of Yahweh in gentleness and meekness in a spiritual way. With love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, self-control, gentleness and all those good things. So we were not created to be a lifeless,

powerless invalid who hides their talent in the sand. We’re all given talents. We’re all given gifts. We are all given callings by which we are expected to use to subdue the enemy. That’s why we are given them.

And we take dominion over him by proclaiming Yahweh’s Word to all nations, teaching them what Yahushua’s word commanded. Leading them to Master Yahushua to be cleansed of their sins and be baptized in His name.

We take dominion over him in our own lives by repenting of our own sins that we’re dealing with. Submission to the will of Yahweh. And it’s not just our own sins that we have to repent of. This is very important. It’s not just our own personal sin that we are supposed to confess and forsake.

It’s also the sins of our forefathers. That’s scriptural brethren.

Leviticus 26:40 – `[But] if they confess their iniquity and the iniquity of their fathers, with their unfaithfulness in which they were unfaithful to Me, and that they also have walked contrary to Me,

Leviticus 26:41 – and [that] I also have walked contrary to them and have brought them into the land of their enemies; if their uncircumcised hearts are humbled, and they accept their guilt —

Leviticus 26:42 – then I will remember My covenant with Jacob, and My covenant with Isaac and My covenant with Abraham I will remember; I will remember the land.

What is that covenant with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob? To dwell in the promise land. The land promised to them. That’s what eternal life will be. That’s the 1000 year reign. That’s what Yahweh will remember.

And it’s through the seed of Abraham and the covenant with Abraham that the new covenant actually was birthed, because it’s through him that we actually inherit the land.

Nehemiah 9:2 – Then those of Israelite lineage separated themselves from all foreigners; and they stood and confessed their sins and the iniquities of their fathers.

And through Master Yahushua Messiah we are the seed of Abraham. We are the descendents of Israel.

Daniel 9:20 – Now while I [was] speaking, praying, and confessing my sin and the sin of my people Israel, and presenting my supplication before YAHWEH my Elohim for the holy mountain of my Elohim,

Daniel 9:21 – yes, while I [was] speaking in prayer, the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, being caused to fly swiftly, reached me about the time of the evening offering.

That’s about the ninth hour of the day from what I understand. Very interesting. Maybe we need to not only confess our own sins but the sins of our parents and grandparents and great grandparents.

If you’re aware of sins that they committed, confess them, renounce them and make sure that you’ve forsaken them yourselves. Or sins that are in the body of Messiah. Look what Daniel was doing here. It says “the sin of my people Israel.”

If you see sins in the body of Messiah, don’t just sit back and criticize and judge. Confess it and ask the Father’s forgiveness for what the body of Messiah is into now. What kind of things do you see happening? Maybe He will give you awesome revelations also.

And so we want to renounce sins that we’ve committed, but also others. Especially our forefathers. We’ve got their DNA in our brain and their traits are in us. We look like them even.

So the truth be told, many times the sins that our Fathers have committed before us, we end caught up in because we find ourselves having the same areas of weakness. You ever realize that your 30 years old and you find yourself doing things with your children that you thought you would never do.

Certain sins that you do and weaknesses that you have you thought you would never have because you despised them so much in your own parents. Those weaknesses and spiritual traits often go from one generation to another. Especially if we’ve been judgmental towards our parents.

Yahweh checks us out to see if we are going to be able to overcome that. Especially since we’ve been so proud, haughty and judgmental towards our parents about it. And so we’ve got to watch that. Honor your Father and your Mother. Don’t tell everybody all the ugliness of your past and the ugly things that they did.

Honor them. It’s not anybody’s business. So we do have to do these things. We have to confess them. We go to Yahweh and tell Him that we confess them and we repent of them. We tell Him that we don’t want any part of what they’re a part of.

I can tell you right now that my last name is kind of a sad last name – Martincic. Martin means follower of Mars. So somebody was involved in some kind of idolatry in my past. And the “cic” at the end of my name means “son of.”

So the son of the follower of Mars. I inherited my name. There was nothing I could do about it. But you know what? It tells me that somebody in my past was most likely involved in some kind of Idolatry and that is one of the sins that I have confessed before Yahweh.

As I learn about what my ancestors were into, I want to confess them and I encourage you to do the same thing. And I do think it has taken away some of the things that the enemy was able inflict us with in the past.

We have to realize above and beyond all this. We confessed our sins. We sought Yahweh’s forgiveness. We repented. We turned away from it.

There might be a time and place for actually addressing Satan directly and telling him that he has no grounds or power over us. The Master Yahushua has cleansed us from all sin and we want no part of what they’re apart of and he has to go. He has to go from our presence just like Yahushua said – “get behind me Satan.”

We have authority over him to do that as long as we are not submitting to him and believing his doctrines. It’s silly to try and cast him away from us and at the same time allowing him to dine with us when we feast on his doctrines and lies.

First we get rid of the legal grounds by which he was able to harm us to begin with. And then we can tell him to get behind us, because we are choosing to believe truth over lies and we submit ourselves to Yahweh rather than to him.

1John 1:9 – If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us [our] sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

What a blessing and what a beautiful promise. And we can stand on that promise and not feel guilty because we are clean. That’s what the word says. The truth is brothers, one day this enemy of ours will one day be dealt with permanently.

He will be cast into the bottomless pit, the abyss, as Yahweh says.

Psalms 125:3 – For the scepter of wickedness shall not rest On the land allotted to the righteous, Lest the righteous reach out their hands to iniquity.

Psalms 125:4 – Do good, O YAHWEH, to [those who are] good, And to [those who are] upright in their hearts.

Psalms 125:5 – As for such as turn aside to their crooked ways, YAHWEH shall lead them away With the workers of iniquity. Peace [be] upon Israel!

Psalms 149:5 – Let the saints be joyful in glory; Let them sing aloud on their beds.

Psalms 149:6 – [Let] the high praises of Elohim [be] in their mouth, And a two-edged sword in their hand,

Psalms 149:7 – To execute vengeance on the nations, And punishments on the peoples;

What an awesome, awesome Psalm. So we bind the principalities and powers in the spiritual realm with fetters and chains. You know I often do that in my life.

If I’m about to enter a place or a circumstance where I think the enemy may try to do harm to me or my family, I will either address him directly and tell him he can’t work, speak,or inspire anyone to be a stumbling block to us. If you ever get overwhelmed, you just pray to Yahweh to “deliver me from my enemies.”

If you don’t know what to say, cry out to Yahweh for deliverance from your enemies. Because we have to be vigilant. There are principalities and powers at work.

1Peter 5:8 – Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.

1Peter 5:9 – Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world.

So it’s all common to man. We resist him. We do not want him to get a foothold in our lives. If we resist him, he has no other choice but to flee from us.

James 4:7 – Therefore submit to Elohim. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.

We submit to Elohim, we repent, we confess and we resist the enemy and he will flee from you. Because he has no power over you.

If you are a blood bought believer of Messiah Yahushua, and you have turned away from whatever grounds he had to attack you with. He has no power over you. So if we repented of believing his lies and walking in them, we can resist him and he has no recourse but to go. And you’ll be amazed at how easy it is. We don’t have to coax him. We don’t have to keep repeating

ourselves over and over again. Or anything like that. We gotta give up the ground to Yahweh. Because you get free and then repeat the same behavior and you find yourself in a worse condition. Satan tried this authority trick thing with Yahushua.

But Yahushua knew it was a lie. He came to Yahushua and said “if you’ll bow down and worship me, I’ll give you all these things. Yahushua knew that it was a lie. Because everything Satan had was all temporary and it would all be taken from him.

So Yahushua was able to command unclean spirits. They had no choice but to obey Him. Yahushua’s disciples followed that example. So we can rebuke him. Now we’ve got to be careful on how we rebuke him.

So when we rebuke him, it’s never with the flesh. It’s never with reviling accusations. That’s what it says here. Not to do it that way. But at the same time, we recognize his devices and we recognize when he is present when he is. But we do not fear him.

Now He’s a formidable foe. But if you start fearing him, you’re going to give him power that he doesn’t deserve. Because we give power to things that we fear. As though they are stronger than we. If we act like this, we have already lost the battle.

Yahweh is the one deserving of our fear. He’s the one who is stronger and will deliver us from our enemies. And if your being overwhelmed in the midst of battle, we can do what David did. In moments of trial and moments of temptation and struggle.

When we’re being inflicted by the enemy, we can cry out to Yahweh just like David did:

Psalms 143:9 – Deliver me, O YAHWEH, from my enemies; In You I take shelter.

Psalms 143:10 – Teach me to do Your will, For You [are] my Elohim; Your Spirit [is] good. Lead me in the land of uprightness.

Psalms 143:11 – Revive me, O YAHWEH, for Your name’s sake! For Your righteousness’ sake bring my soul out of trouble.

Psalms 143:12 – In Your mercy cut off my enemies, And destroy all those who afflict my soul; For I [am] Your servant.

Sometimes I find myself doing this when I am most afflicted. Just crying out to Yahweh for deliverance.

Proverbs 18:10 – The name of YAHWEH [is] a strong tower; The righteous run to it and are safe.

Brothers, Sisters there is no one like the Elohim of Yeshurun.

Deuteronomy 33:26 – [There is] no one like the Elohim of Jeshurun, [Who] rides the heavens to help you, And in His excellency on the clouds.

Deuteronomy 33:27 – The eternal Elohim [is your] refuge, And underneath [are] the everlasting arms; He will thrust out the enemy from before you, And will say, `Destroy!’

The word Yeshurun means upright one. If we choose to walk in uprightness, we will gain the victory. It says there is no one like the Elohim of Yeshurun. Who rides the heavens. He is in the spiritual realm also. He’s in those heavenly places.

These are the final words of Moshe

If you look up the instances if dew in scripture, you’ll see how closely related “dew” is to the Messiah. HalleluYah! May we all take the practical steps that we need, having faith in the Messiah Yahushua, knowing that we must trust his word,

reject the lies and submit ourselves to uprightness. Calling upon the Elohim of Yeshurun to destroy the enemy who seeks to cause stumbling in all of us. And may we walk in victory as we put our trust in the Elohim of Yeshurun.

Who rides the heavens to help us. And his excellency is on the clouds, whose everlasting arms is our refuge and whose name is our strong tower.

And may we all as brothers and sisters in Yahweh stand together, where we are strongest, locked hand in hand, to defeat the enemy together as a great and awesome army of Yahweh. Withstanding the enemy who wants us to stumble and bearing one another up if one is to falter.

So lets be sure my brethren to stay on Yahweh’s side. Do all we can to build up and edify the body of Messiah.Taking dominion over the earth so that we may all stand in that final day, in victory, and one day hear those precious words; “well done thou good and faithful servant, enter into the joy of your Master.” May it be so for all of us my brethren and all who hear the sound of my voice. May Yahweh bless you and may Yahweh give you victory and all of us victory and may He have mercy upon us all.
