Why the Day of Atonement is NOT YET Fulfilled
09/23/17 (07/02) Video Broadcast
We are ready to begin our
study portion for today's
broadcast and we are going
to talk about The Day of
Atonement.
The Day of Atonement and
here we talked about the
Feast of Trumpets and
how this pictures the
Messiah's return right?
We got the Spring
Festivals which speak of
what the Messiah did,
his first coming.
Well, the Fall Festivals
speak of what Messiah will
do at his second coming
and so but then the
question arises.
Well if the Fall Festivals
speak of what Messiah will
do at his second coming,
then why do we have Day of
Atonement in the
Fall Festivals?
If you are not familiar
with the festivals just to
give you a quick rundown.
We have Messiah we know he
is our lamb, the reason he
is called our lamb is
because he died at the
exact hour Passover lambs
were being slaughtered in
Jerusalem and then we have
the Resurrection the Day
of First Fruits and then
we have the Unleavened
bread representing our
unleavened state as a
result of Messiah's
sacrifice.
And then we have the
Pentecost giving of the
Holy Spirit and then there
is this long time period
between Pentecost and the
Feast of Trumpets which
the first feast
in the fall.
ten days later we have the
Day of Atonement and then
we have the Feast of
Tabernacles and so what is
it about the Fall Feasts
that seems to match up
with something that is
going to take place in the
future?
We can see where Yom
Teruah, Feast of Trumpets
will be speaking of you
know the Messiah's return
at the last trump with a
shout of an Archangel and
that all fits.
But then we have Day of
Atonement that seems like
that's referring to back
when Yahushua resurrected,
went to heaven and he
entered the holy place in
the heavenliest.
But I'm going to be
sharing with you today why
the Day of Atonement is
not yet fulfilled that
means there are things
about the Day of Atonement
that has not yet
reached its fulfilment.
And Yahushua is going
to fulfil this Day of
Atonement in the future
not something he has
already done in the
past, part of it yes.
But there are other things
he's going to do that
speak to the Day of
Atonement and we are going
to look at those
scriptures which speak of
that very thing and it's
pretty awesome, I mean
it's amazing.
Amazing prophecies as we
begin to dig into these
things and there are a lot
of mysteries in the book
of Ezekiel.
You know just the wheels
and all these things going
on and it's been a
book that has you know
perplexed many of
theologian especially
those who are in line
traditional theology when
it comes to the Torah
because it speaks of a
future time when a temple
will rebuild an editorial
will be kept and the feast
and everything of it
definitely is a challenge
for those who subscribe to
traditional theology.
Now for those of us who
have come to understand
that the Torah, the law of
Yahweh that is spoken of
in Genesis to Deuteronomy
has not been abolished by
the Messiah and
his sacrifice.
It does make more sense in
lines of completely with
both old testament and
new testament teachings.
But there are some
mysteries in Ezekiel in
the spiritual places the
heavenly high places and
the visions that he saw
that are pretty awesome.
But we are going to
examine some of these and
just one, in particular,
we are going to look at
very, very closely in
Ezekiel chapter 43 verses
1-4 it says Afterward he
brought me to the gate,
the gate that faces
toward the east.
And, behold, the glory of
the Elohim of Israel came
from the way of the east:
and his voice was like the
sound of many waters: and the earth shone with his glory. It was like the appearance of the appearance of the vision which I saw, like the vision which I saw when I came to destroy the city: the visions were like the vision which I saw by the river Chebar, and I fell on my face. And the glory of Yahweh came into the temple by way of the gate which faces toward the east. Now pay close attention the glory of Yahweh came.
What does he see? The glory of Yahweh came into the temple by the way
of the gate which faces toward the east, very interesting. By the way of the gate that faces toward the east, what is this? Well, let's look at the attributes of Yahweh's glory, there's a voice sounding like many waters,
it's shining the earth with his brightness right? Now let's take a look at the vision which he saw by the river Chebar. It says in Ezekiel 1:26 And above the firmament over their heads was the likeness of a throne, an appearance like a sapphire stone: on the likeness of the throne was a likeness with the appearance of a man high above it. Also from the appearance of his waist and upward, I saw as it were, the color of amber, with the appearance of fire all around within it, and from the appearance of his waist and downward, I saw as it were the appearance of fire, with brightness all around. Something shiny, shining on the earth may be. So we hear the likeness in appearance of a man sitting on the throne from his waist upward amber-colored fire in his wast downward appearance if fire and rainbow-colored brightness, very interesting. This is the likeness of what he saw when he was looking on the earth okay. They were looking at the river Chebar, now no one has seen Elohim at any time, Yahushua said "the only begotten son who is in the bosom of the father he has declared him" John 6:46 says Not that anyone has seen the Father, except he who is from Elohim, he has seen the Father. And 1 John 4:12 No one has seen Elohim at any time. If we love one another, Elohim abides in us, his love is being perfected in us. And so we know that no one has actually seen Elohim
but we see the glory of Elohim. And it's brightly shining glory of Elohim.
Hebrews chapter 1 verse 3 speaks of the Messiah's saying he is the brightness of his glory and the express image of his person and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the majesty on high. And who has seen in the book of Ezekiel?
It was none other than Yahushua himself, the brightness of the glory of Yahweh shining on the earth and entering the east gate of the temple of Yahweh. Now, this is not something we have ever seen on the earth like this, this is a futuristic vision and we also know that there is no temple as of right now. Now when will that temple be built? I don't know for sure, but there will be a temple built and he will enter the east gate of the temple and the temple area. Now Yahweh dwells between the cheribim, right? And we know that Yahushua is sitting at the right hand of Yahweh and for that reason, it seems to me that Yahushua himself will be the man who's called the glory of the Elohim of Israel. And it is he who is being manifested and revealed to Ezekiel and he will enter visibly that earthly holy of holies in the age to come entering by that east gate. And so Yahushua is going to have full rights to the holiest place of all both in heaven and on the earth. And to me, that's pretty awesome when you really think about it, and so you'll have the Feast of Trumpets heralding the Messiah's return. Psalms 110 speaks of him going forth and conquering and taking over, and defeating every nation, executing the heads of many countries and so on. And then Yahushua, maybe this will take place in the ten-day time period, I don't know. But then Yahushua as we see the vision in Ezekiel 000he will enter the earthly holy of holies with the presence of Yahweh almighty the father. Siting at Yahweh's right hand, entering the temple through the east gate. Now the law only allowed for a descended of Aaron
to enter in that temple area.
But here we have Yahushua a descended of Judah residing in the temple. Yahweh the father is there with him, Messiah is manifesting the image of the invisible Elohim Colossians 1:15 to men and Yahushua is dwelling at the right hand of Yahweh the father both in heaven and on earth because he is capable of being in two places at once. He has Yahweh's omnipresence Matthew 18:20 Yahushua said wherever two or three are gathered together in my name I am there in the midst of them. And so Yahushua is able to simultaneously dwell in heaven and on earth just as Yahweh himself does and Yahweh will dwell in the holiest place of the temple and Yahushua will be seated at Yahweh's right hand being the visible image of Yahweh's glory whereas Yahweh the father is not gonna be visible to men. Because Yahushua he is the image of the invisible Elohim, the firstborn of all creation. So Yahushua now as I said is a son of Judah not a son of Aaron and yet the law tells us the Torah mentions saying that no one is permitted to enter temple grounds unless they are a son of Aaron. It says in Numbers 3 verse 10 So you shall appoint Aaron and his sons, and they shall attend to their priesthood: but the outsider who comes nigh shall be put to death. Numbers 18:7 Therefore you and your sons with you shall attend to your priest for everything at the altar, and behind the veil; and you shall serve: I give your priest to you as a gift for service: but the outsider who comes nigh shall be put to death. And so it's forbidden for anyone other than Aaron and hi sons to enter the temple grounds and yet we have a predictive futuristic prophecy of the Messiah who is not a son of Aaron entering the temple grounds. Entering by the east gate and a future time, and so how can he legally enter the temple without violating the above scriptures. One of the books of Hebrews speaks of a necessity of a transfer in order for this to take place. And this is the book of Hebrews chapter 7 verse 12 and says For the priesthood being changed, of necessity there is also a change of the law. For he of whom these things are spoken belongs to another tribe, from which no man has officiated at the altar. For it is evident that our Master arose from Judah; of which tribe Moshe spoke nothing concerning priesthood. And so there has to be what's called in this translation a change in relation to the priesthood. Now some believe this is a wholesale change of the entire system of law. No, he's speaking specifically of contextually of who is allowed to officiate at the Alter. We know the Torah says that only sons of Aaron can. Who can enter the temple grounds? Only the son of Aaron and so we have to have what's called a change. Now the word change actually doesn't quite mean change it comes from the Greek word Metathesis meaning a transfer, transfer from one place to another. The same exact word is found also in Hebrews chapter 11 verse 5 it says by faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death and he was not found because Elohim had translated him, the same exact Greek word is found there okay. So what happened to Enoch? A transfer from earthly to heavenly and so we have the same thing happening here, a transfer from earthly priesthood to heavenly priesthood. One is a symbol or a picture or a parable of the other so in the same way, we have a transfer of Enoch from earthly to heavenly. We have a transfer of priesthood from earthly to heavenly from physical to spiritual and so forth. And so we have this transfer also of the law itself from earthly to heavenly. It says for He of whom, he of whom that is Yahushua
these things are spoken belongs to another tribe and so the fact it is speaking not even an entire system of law but of a specific person and their legal grounds for entering the temple between no year according to Numbers chapter 3, Numbers 18 they are not permanent to enter and yet we have these prophecies of Yahushua the Messiah being a priest on his throne and baring the glory of Yahweh. And the glory of Yahweh entering the temple by the east gate in the book of Ezekiel. And so the book of Hebrews speaks of this transfer taking place earthly to heavenly, Levitical Priesthood to Melchizedek Priesthood and Yahushua not being a son of Aaron but being a son of David is that Melchizedek Priesthood. And we see down here in verse 15, chapter 7 in the book of Hebrews says it is far more evident if in the likeness of Melchizedek there rises another priest, who has come not according to a law of a fleshly commandment but according to the power of an endless life. For he testifies, you (talking about Messiah) are a priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek. This an oath For, on the one hand, there is annulling of the former commandment because of its weakness and unprofitableness. Now its saying annulling of the former commandment. What commandment? The commandment demanding only the son of Aaron can function there. Now, what was weak and unprofitable about that commandment? Why was it weak? Why was it unprofitable that commandment? He says there were many priests because they were prevented by death from continuing, they had to transfer from one generation to the next but Yahushua that's why its called a fleshly commandment because its dependent upon the flesh, its dependent upon the sons of Aaron, when one dies the next one lives and so forth. But Yahushua, because he continues forever, has an unchangeable priesthood. He's not gonna die and then the other one takes over his place. And so it's a fleshly commandment and prevented by death from continuing and so they had ongoing replacements but Yahushua has an endless life. So Hebrews 7:15 it is far more evident: if in the likeness of Melchizedek there arises another priest, who has come, not according to the law of fleshly commandment, but according to the power of an endless life. because he has an endless life he is able to be that permanent high priest and not die. And so he is not limited by the flesh which dies. He overcame the grave and was resurrected forever as our high priest. Now Yahushua we know has entered the holy of holies in the heavenly places and made it so that we can have access to the throne room in heaven so the day will come when Yahushua will enter that throne room on earth also and dwell in the holy place. And from there he will rule over all the earth as the ones seated on the right hand of Yahweh in both in heaven and on earth. Now some scriptures about this Psalms 110 verses 1-4 Yahweh said to my Master, Sit at my right hand, till I make your enemies your footstool. Yahweh shall send the rod of your strength out of Zion: rule in the midst of your enemies. Your people shall be volunteers in the day of your power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: you have the dew of your youth. Yahweh has sworn, and will not relent, you are a priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek. So this man is a priest but he is also a ruler, a king. The one that this particular scripture speaks of and he is at Yahweh's right hand.
And these things that you read about in the New Testament they are not just coming up out of thin air, these all are prophecies predicting these things. And Yahushua is seated at the right hand of Yahweh, therefore has access to the holy of holies in the heavenly place. And this same Messiah will also have access to the holy of holies on the earthly temple which is a copy of the truth temple in heaven. Another scripture that speaks to this is also in Zachariah chapter 6 verse 9 it says And the word of Yahweh came to me, saying, receive the gift from the captives, from Heldai, Tobijah, Jedaiah, who have come from Babylon, and go to the same day, and enter the house of Josiah the son of Zephaniah. Take the silver and gold make an elaborant crown, and set it on the head of Joshua. Now this name here pronounced in Hebrew will be Yahushua, and Yahushua is actually the name of the Messiah and so this priest has the same name as the name of our savior. And he's a son of Jozadak which means Yahweh is righteous okay, the high priest. Now this man is a high priest in Jerusalem at the time that Zechariah is giving us prophecy and this is what he tells him to do he says speak to him, saying, Thus says Yahweh of hosts, saying, Behold the man whose name is The BRANCH. Now, this term Branch I'm gonna show you here in a minute, Samach is a direct indication of the Messiah that's coming to rule over the earth. So from his place, he shall branch out, and he shall build the temple of Yahweh. Yes he shall build the temple of Yahweh, he shall what? Bare the glory, isn't that we saw in the book of Ezekiel of the glory of Yahweh the Elohim of Israel shining on the earth and entering into that temple, through the east gate and shall sit and rule on his throne so he shall be a priest on his throne.
So he's both a king and a priest that's what we read about here in Psalms 110 he rules and he's also a priest. So here is a man who is a priest his name is Yahushua the same name as our savior and Zechariah says behold the man whose name is the branch. I guess Yahweh, when he looked at Yahushua son of Yahweh his righteous, looked at him and thought the picture here is so interesting and says tell you what? Put a crown on this man's head because he has a name of Yahushua, he is a priest and the day is gonna come come when a man named Yahushua who's gonna be a priest, he's gonna have a crown in his head, many crowns and he's going to be both a priest and a king and so he's kind of giving this futuristic prophecy of what the coming Messiah's name is going to be. And it's Yahushua, Yod-Hey-Vav-Shin-Ayin or Yod-Hey-Vav-Shin that's the Hebrew letters. And so the counsel of peace shall be between them both isn't that amazing? That even the name of our savior is predicted in the prophecies. Now just so you understand this word Branch, definitely it's speaking of Messiah. We see here in the book of Jeremiah chapter 33 verse 15 it says, In those days, and at that time, I will cause to grow up to David a Branch, Samach same exact word, of righteousness he shall execute judgment and righteousness in the earth.
In those days Judah will be saved, Yahushua Yahweh
is salvation, and Jerusalem will dwell safely: and this is the name by which she will be called, Yahweh our righteousness. So the city will be called Yahweh Tsidkenu and that's the Hebrew of meaning Yahweh our righteousness, Yahweh Tsidkenu, and the city is actually going to be in fullness the dwelling place of Yahweh, the temple and says that in Zechariah 6 that Yahushua is going to build this temple and not just physical temple but spiritual temple of which we are. We are the dwelling place of Yahweh, we are the temple of the holy spirit, temple of the holy spirit because Yahushua dwells in us and we know that Yahweh dwells in Yahushua and so we are the temple of Yahweh and we are the temple he is building even today spiritually speaking and the foundation being the Apostles and Prophets of Yahushua being the chief cornerstone and all these illusions how we are all together as one thing. And even Jeremiah 23 verse 5-6 calls Yahushua, Yahweh Tsidkenu and so we being his city will be called Yahweh Tsidkenu also because of he who dwells in us being the temple of Yahweh. And so it's very beautiful analogies and just pictures and spiritual connections that are one of many things that prove to me that the bible was not a book put together by anything other than divine inspiration, prophecies to this detail even naming our savior and what's going to happen with him dying for our sins and becoming the high priest. And him ruling on the throne and just awesome, awesome stuff. So it says here in Hebrews chapter 9 verse 11 the Messiah came as high priest of good things to come with greater and more perfect Tabernacle not made with hands that's just non of this creation not with the blood of goats and cows but with his own blood he entered the most holy place once for all having obtained eternal redemption, beautiful. nd then Hebrews chapter 9 verse 23 Therefore it's necessary that the copies of the things in the heavens should be purified with these, but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these. For Messiah has not entered the holy places made with hands, which are copies of true, but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of Elohim for us. And so that's significant of the Day of Atonement for us we know Yahushua enters the holy place in heaven and that's awesome and we can pray to Yahweh and have access to Yahweh's spiritually speaking in the heavenly places.
But then there is also future event that's going to take place where he will rule and reign over all men. In this earthly temple Tabernacle is a symbol and a sign of what Yahushua does for us. Now, look at Leviticus chapter 16 where it talks about what the high priest is supposed to do on the Day of Atonement.
eviticus 16:14 says he shall take some of the blood of the bull and sprinkle it with his finger on the mercy seat, (so blood is placed on the mercy seat) on the east side (why the east side)?
And before the mercy seat he shall sprinkle some of the blood with his finger seven times. He shall kill the goat of the sin offering which is for the people, bring its blood inside the veil, do that with that blood as he did with the blood of the bull, and sprinkle it on the mercy seat and before the mercy seat. So before the mercy seat, on the mercy seat, and on the east side. So interestingly now the mercy seat actually is the word covering in Hebrew it doesn't mean mercy seat. But that's interesting because it says Leviticus 16 you shall make Atonement for the holy place because of the uncleanness of the children of Israel and because of their transgressions for all their sins and so he shall do for the Tabernacle meaning which remains among them in the midst of their uncleanness. nd alright we know that the blood is sprinkled on the east side of the mercy seat and on the mercy seat right? In the heavenly places he entered the most holy place once for all with his own blood, he entered.
I would suggest probably in the heavenly temple he entered on the east side if there is such a thing as north, south, east, west. And we also know as we read before where he says he brought me to the gate that faces toward the east and beholds the glory of the Elohim of Israel came from the way of the east. His voice is like the sound of many waters the earth shone with his glory and brightness of his glory. Yahushua is the brightness of his glory who's like the appearance of the appearance of the vision which I saw, like the vision which I saw when I came to destroy the city: the visions were like the vision which I saw by the river Chebar, and I fell on my face. And the glory of Yahweh came into the temple by way of the gate that faces toward the east. nd so when the high priest would sprinkle that blood on the earthly ark of the covenant it will be
sprinkled on the east side for a reason because he enters the east gate with his own blood and symbolizing. So we are able to have access and this is awesome when you really at this it's pretty amazing. Now Ezekiel 43 verse 5 the Spirit lifted me up and
brought me into the inner court, and behold, the glory of Yahweh filled the temple. Then I heard him speaking to me from the house, while a man was stood beside me. And he said to me, "Son of man, this is the place of my throne and the place of the soles of my feet, where I will dwell in the midst of the children of Israel forever. No more shall house of Israel defile my holy name, not they, nor their kings, by their harlotry or with the carcasses of their kings on their high places. This is all future event it's never taken place it will take place when Israel humbles themselves, we continue to read here. hen they set their threshold by my thresholds, and their doorpost by my doorposts, with the wall between them and me, they defiled my holy name by their abominations which they committed: therefore I have consumed them in my anger. Now let them put away their harlotry, and the carcasses of their kings, far from me, and I will dwell in the midst of them forever. Son of man, describe the temple to the house of Israel, that they may be ashamed of their iniquities. And let them measure the pattern. And if they are ashamed of all that they have done,
make known to them the design of the temple and its arrangement, its exits and entrances, its entire design and all its ordinances, all its forms and all its laws. Write it down in their sight so that they may keep its whole design and all its ordinances before them. This is the law of the temple: All areas surrounding the mountaintop is most holy. Behold this is the law of the temple. And so it's a future event whenever the time comes when Israel is truly ashamed of all of their sins and we are waiting for that time. It may be when they look upon him whom they pierced and they mourn, and they mourn. But some people say well how can this be future?
And they try to say things to make you doubt as to whether its future. The same here with the prophecies its conditional it's never gonna happen because Israel never humbles themselves. But if you read Ezekiel 47 it talks about how, it says he brought me back to the door of the temple, and there was water flowing from under the threshold of the temple toward the east (for the front of the temple faced east). And the water was flowing from under the right side of the temple south of the altar.
He said to me this water flows toward the eastern region goes down into the valley and enters the sea, when it reaches the sea its waters are healed. ow if you know anything about the geography of Jerusalem to the east of Jerusalem is the dead sea, nothing lives in the dead sea it is completely dead there are no animals, no fish, nothing is so full of salt nothing can live there. And what Ezekiel is saying is the day is going to come when the water will flow out from underneath the temple and go all the way to the dead sea and its waters are going to be healed. It shall be every living thing that moves were the rivers go will live, there will be a very great multitude of fish because these waters go there for they will be healed and everything will live wherever the river goes. It shall be the fisherman who stands by, from En Gedi to En Eglaim there will be places to spreading their nets. Their fish will be the same kinds of fish, of the Great Sea, exceedingly many. Now the same temple is spoken of in the book of Zechariah. echariah chapter 14 verse 8 it says, in that day it shall be , that living waters shall flow from Jerusalem; half of them toward the eastern sea, and half of them toward the western sea: in both summer and in winter it shall occur. And Yahweh shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be Yahweh as one, and his name one. And so this temple is spoken of in the book of Zechariah has never been fulfilled we are awaiting its fulfillment. This is right after Armageddon this whole event here, Yahushua puts his feet on the mount of olives, puts in too this is what the world is gonna be like when he returns. Verse 10 All the land shall be turned to a plain from Geba to Rimmon south of Jerusalem (it's not a plain right now we are still waiting on that). Jerusalem shall be raised up, and inhabited in her place, from Benjamin's gate to the place of the first gate, and the corner gate, and from the tower of Hananeel to the king's winepresses. The people shall dwell in it, no longer shall there be utter destruction; but Jerusalem shall be safely inhabited. Verse 12, And this shall be the plague with which Yahweh will strike all the people that fought against Jerusalem(during Armageddon); Their flesh shall dissolve away while they stand on their feet, their eyes shall dissolve in their sockets, their tongue shall dissolve in their mouths. And it shall come to pass in that day, that a great panic from Yahweh will be among them; everyone will seize the hand of his neighbor, and raise his hand against his neighbor's hand. Judah also will fight at Jerusalem; and the wealth of all the surrounding nations shall be gathered together, gold, and silver, and apparel, in great abundance. Such also shall be the plague on the horse, on the mule, on the camel, on a donkey, and on all the cow that will be in those camps, such as plague be. It shall come to pass, that every one who is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall go up from year to year to worship the King, Yahweh of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles. t shall be, that whichever of the families of the earth do not come up to Jerusalem to worship the King, Yahweh of hosts, on them, there will be no rain. With the family of Egypt will not come up, and enter, and they shall have no rain; there shall receive the plague, with which Yahweh strikes the nations who do not come up to keep the feast of tabernacles. This shall be the punishment of Egypt, and the punishment of all nations that do not come up to keep the feast of tabernacles. This is gentiles , all nations will keep the feast of tabernacles because it was always supposed to be a feast for all nations. But the day is going to come when Yahushua reigns and rules from Jerusalem. All the world will keep the feast days. It's a very different picture than what we might have heard in Sunday school right? But its true, Isiah chapter 2 verse 2 now it shall come to pass in later days, the mountain of Yahweh's house shall be established on the top of the mountains (that's because the whole land will become a plain south and west of Jerusalem), it shall be exalted above all the hills; and all nations shall flow to it. any people shall come and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of Yahweh, to the house of the Mighty One of Jacob; he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law and the word of Yahweh from Jerusalem. And this is still future, he shall judge between the nations, and rebuke many people: they shall beat their swords in the plowshares, and their spears in the pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war anymore. You probably heard this scripture but didn't notice the ones before it was the law will go forth out of Zion, that means this law that's not been abolished yet, is going to go forth and the whole world will keep it, the whole world. Yahweh's Torah, Yahweh's law will be the law of the planet and will be enforced on all showing us
that when Yahweh's will is finally done on earth as it is in heaven the whole world is keeping the feast days. nd not just the feast days but the new moon and the Sabbath, it says Isiah 66:23 it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and one Sabbath to another, all flesh shall come and worship before me, says Yahweh. And they shall go forth, and look upon the corpses of the men who transgressed against me (they disobeyed the law): for their worm does not die, their fire is not quenched; they shall be in abhorrence to all flesh. And so this is all going to happen after Yahushua enters the holy of holies through the east gate and the earthly tabernacle. And we can look to the future when we think of the day of atonement think about the future not just something Yahushua did in the past but something he's going to do in the future. Think about the future when he will enter the holy of holies and then he will rule and reign and the whole Torah will be the law of the land. So just as there are things about the feast of trumpets they are waiting for its fulfillment. There are things about the day of atonement that are still awaiting its fulfillment and one of the days that's gonna be when they are. mean now we as believers in Yahushua will not gonna be trudging around on the earth on camels and having a time when we die later on or something like that. Because we will be a part of that first resurrection scripture says blessed and holy is he who has part in this first resurrection; over such the second death has no power, they will be priests of Elohim and of Messiah and shall reign with Him a thousand years. We will rule with him, we will rule alongside him as priests and rulers because we have the Melchizedek
priesthood dwelling in us. We are a part of this Melchizedek priesthood and we, like, we will be representatives of Yahushua himself and going out as part of his body to the whole earth and we will be different we won't be like we are right now. Because scripture says 1 Thessalonians 4:15 For this we say to you by the word of the Master, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Master (I believe that's us if we tarry until Yahushua's return) will be no means precede those who are asleep. For the Master Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, this Teruah, right? This shout, this Yom Teruah, this day of shouting) and with the trumpet of Elohim (this last trump), and the dead in Messiah will rise first. Then we who are alive, and I hope that's us and maybe our generation probably, Yahweh knows, we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Master in the air, and thus we shall always be with the Master. At that time we are going to be changed it says 1 Corinthians 15:51 Behold, I tell you a mystery; we shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, heaven to earth or earth to heaven. We should see in a minute, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet; for the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. This corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
So you wanna talk about our future for us brothers and sisters. Wow! That's all I can say, and we will reign with him over this earth for one thousand years and we will teach people his Torah. We may be that voice that they hear behind them saying go this way. I don't know if it will be given areas to rule over or how it's gonna work. But I know that we are gonna reign with him, and we will be as his representatives. He will be dwelling on them in the temple and we will be governors, rulers ruling with him over the earth and executing righteousness and holiness and punishing the disobedient and teaching the people of this world that we need to keep the Torah because the Torah is going to be the rule of the land. And the people are gonna be shocked because they have to go and follow Yahweh's calendar because from one new moon to another, knowing when Yahweh's months begin and one Sabbath to another everyone will keep the Sabbath and keep the feast of tabernacles and other feasts as well. nd so this is the kingdom this is the thing that we are supposed to proclaim to the whole world. This is our future this is what we have to be excited about, and I am excited I can't wait to see, it's gonna be amazing. But until then in a same way the feast of trumpets is a day we are celebrating as a memorial for something that Yahweh hasn't even done yet which brings the Messiah back with the Yom Teruah, a Teruah it's shout a trumpet and blowing trumpets and shouting hallelujah and the day is gonna come when the day of atonement is gonna meet it's fulfillment also. And he will enter that east gate, that's gonna be awesome. So as far as commemorating this awesome event, here is what we do. Leviticus 23:26 And Yahweh spoke to Moshe, saying, Also the tenth day the seventh month shall be the day of atonement (and technically it's Yom Kippur it means day of atonements, plural): it shall be a holy convocation for you; you shall afflict your souls, and offer an offering made by fire to Yahweh. ou shall do no work on that same day: for it is a day of atonement, to make atonement for you before Yahweh your Mighty one. You see if we were still wicked, sinners and not
have our sins cleansed then if we were to enter that heavenly temple, we defile the place, right? I think that as spiritual beings we will have access to both the heavenly temple and the earthly temple and the areas surrounding it in the whole planet pretty much as spiritual beings in the same way you know angels and other spirituals have access. And so if Yahushua had not done what he was done then we would enter that heavenly temple we will defile it because of our sin. But because we are cleansed of all sins, we don't defile the heavenly temple and this is what the day of atonement is all about, is sprinkling the temple, the altar, you sprinkling different places including the ark as a spiritual
representation of what Yahushua does for us in keeping the place clean because we are cleaned by his blood and we don't enter the heavenly temple and defile it. So it all makes sense that it all lines up beautifully it's really amazing, the word of Yahweh. So we don't do any work on that day and we afflict our souls and the priest would make these offerings, it's not something that common people will do this is what the priest would do. So we are not disobeying anything here, any person who is not afflicted in soul that means to fast on that same day should be cut off from his people. Any person who does any work on that same day, that person I will destroy. Like a personal vendetta here, he's gonna make sure he destroys one who wants to do work now a lot of us were taught that we don't have to keep the day of atonement. Yahushua fulfilled all of those feasts, no, he didn't. We are taught we don't have to keep the day of atonement and so we don't have to rest on that day. When is it gonna be? Now if you are watching this video in 2017 then it's going to be on what's called October 1st, the night of October 30th going into October 1st. If it's not 2017 you are watching this video then download the calendar listed on the main page of the website and you will be able to get the feast dates. But for those of you watching this video in 2017 here are the feast dates, feast of trumpets was yesterday and day of atonement is October 1st but it starts the night before. Same thing with the feast of tabernacles being October 5th starting at sundown going into the 6th and ending at sundown on the 13th. And so that's our feast dates and you can keep these, you can rest on this day you can rest and you can fast. Didn't Yahushua say the disciples will fast often after the bridegroom is taken from them? How many of you actually fast? How many of you fast often? Important question. And, so, we rest and we fast on this day of atonement and he says you should do no manner of work: it shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations in all your dwellings. It shall be to you a Sabbath of solemn rest, and you shall afflict your souls: on the ninth day of the month at evening (that means that's the 9th day of the month that's gonna be next Sabbath),and then the sun goes down in the evening, you shall celebrate this day of atonement (from evening to evening). That's how we do Yahweh's days because Yahweh's days begin and end at evening and so we begin our fast that means no drinking, no eating for a 24 hour time period. It's an appropriate time also to reflect on the areas that we as the body of Messiah are lacking and we are not quite being Messiah like. And one of the roles of the high priest on the day of atonement was that Aaron would lay both his hands on the head of a live goat, Leviticus 6:21 confess over it all the iniquities of the children of Israel, and all their transgressions concerning all their sins, putting them on the head of a goat and shall send it away into the wilderness by the hand of a suitable man. And so I think we corporately as a people as a body of Messiah, we turn away, we repent, we confess those areas were we are lacking, confessing our sins corporately the problems that we see in the body of Messiah. This is like Daniel when he was praying and he was confessing his own sins and he was confessing also the sins of Israel because we are all together, we are all in the same body and when one part of the body is failing then we all fail in that sense. And so we have to confess our sins, it says confess your sins to one another, confess your sins to Yahweh 1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful, he is just to forgive us our sins, and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. But we have to repent, we have to turn away from those things because there is no amazing grace unless we are willing to be a people who repent when we commit sin. Now don't get me wrong grace is a free gift, by grace you have been saved through faith, not of yourselves, it's the gift of Elohim. Not of works, lest anyone should boast. Now I'm not suggesting you have to do something in order to make up for your sin. Grace is a free gift Yahweh grants it to us, it's not something our works could ever earn and so we have to be totally humble and undone before Yahweh, admit that whatever grace we are given is complete, utterly 100% undeserved. But being that we are given grace it should lead us to repentance. omans chapter 2 verse 4 Or do you despise the riches of His goodness, forbearance, and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of Elohim leads you to repentance? But in accordance with your hardness and your impenitent heart you are treasuring up for yourself wrath in the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of Elohim; who will render to each one according to his deeds. So you are gonna be rendered according to your works if you don't repent.
You cannot harden your heart and expect to receive grace, we have to repent. And so if we choose not to repent we are treasuring up for ourselves wrath in the day of wrath. Repent means to turn away from what you know is wrong and turn toward what you know is right and that's why repentance is so necessary. Peter said to the disciples saying, repent let every one be baptized in the name of Yahushua Messiah for the remission of sins, and you shall receive the gist of the holy spirit. Repentance is necessary and for that reason, our faith and we are identified by John in the book of Revelation as being those who keep the commandments of Elohim and the faith of Yahushua. And in this verse, I see two religions I see Judaism at least it's trying to keep the commandments of Elohim that got all kinds of things that add on to it. And Christianity by seeking to put their faith in Messiah but I say let's do both. Let's both keep the commandments of Elohim and have the faith of Messiah. And so we have to be a people who are repentant and putting our faith in Yahushua for the forgiveness of sins, and then we receive the gift of the holy spirit. And so we have to do both we can't-do one and not the other because his saints are doing both. That's how he is identifying his people, keeping the commandments and putting their faith and trust in Messiah for the forgiveness of sin. And so the complete truth is not found really in either mainstream faith they are not teaching the complete truth. They both got one part of it, and I say who walk that narrow way and do both, minus the baggage of traditions because traditions are pretty much will keep people from changing. And so Yahweh gives us these commands teaching us how to love one another, teaching us how to love him. And he gives us his son who redeems us for those times that we fail to love. And so once we receive that forgiveness we are not free to go off and disobey and live however we want, we have to repent, we can't cheapen his grace, we can't cheapen the blood of Messiah by treating his son get out of hell free card, you've got your card and live how you want to. you can't treat Yahweh like a vending machine up goes a paradigm then comes forgiveness and think that will work. It didn't work with Saul, It didn't work with Esau, It didn't work with the Pharisees and many others it didn't work because Yahushua did not come into this earth to be tortured to the point of death so that we can turn around purposely rebelliously continue living the way we were before, we are supposed to repent. He came so he can redeem us for our past sins, give us the power to overcome any future potential sins and offer forgiveness for the times that we that we will fail we then turn around because we do have a repentant heart and be a repentant person and confess that sin. He came to thwart the devil's schemes and works that we might once again walk in the image of Elohim and so we sow thanksgiving to him for what he has done by continuing that trek of not trampling the son of Elohim underfoot. But continuing that trek of saying I'm going to pursue righteousness, I'm going to pursue, I'm going to hunger for it. Yahushua said blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness for they shall be filled. I hunger and thirst for righteousness in myself knowing my own failures, my own weaknesses. And Yahushua comes and cleanses me of all unrighteousness, but also hunger and thirst for righteousness in the sense that I want to change the way I live. I want to do the things that he is telling me to do and live the way he's telling me to live.
And so I'm in pursuit of what is righteous conduct and how can I live by that as I seek his strength. nd toward those who are failing me, we are called to walk in mercy, it says blessed are the merciful for they shall obtain mercy. And so toward those who are failing us and are not living the way they should, we should also be merciful toward them even as Yahushua was merciful toward us and died for us cleansing us of all unrighteousness. He wants to help us overcome Hebrews 4:15 says For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses; but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us, therefore, come boldly to the throne of grace, that we maintain two things, mercy, and grace to help in time of need.
We need that mercy and we need that grace to help in our time of need. He wants to help us, he does first we need to get that mercy through the righteousness of Yahweh through Yahushua but then we also need that help, that strength from mountain high because he knows what it's like to be tempted and he can deliver us like he delivered David from his enemies. e can deliver us from the enemy also and so it says Revelation 22:14 Blessed are those who do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city. And so I'm calling on all of us to bear forth the fruits of doing his commandments, let's not fail to keep this day of atonement which is commanded. Let's say within our hearts what a blessed reminder that the day of atonement truly is, of what my Savior has done for me and what he promises to do for me. You know the world has it's Christian holidays reflecting on the birth of Messiah and the resurrection of the Messiah and what's commonly called Christmas and Easter. Sadly those days are rooted in Paganism, it's an attempt to mix paganism and infuse it into the faith, the one true faith that was delivered to the saints. I say we don't have to invent new holidays to convert people we have holidays, we have true holidays, we have beautiful Day of Atonement picturing this time that Yahushua enters not just to the heavenly throne room. ut futuristically the earthly throne room enabling us to come boldly to that throne room and find grace and find help and have mercy in our time of need. Aren't these really all about him? Aren't all these feasts really about him? What's wrong with memorializing the things that he is doing and will continue to do and has done in the past? And so I say let's keep these days as he's commanded us and in the areas that we fall short let's get on our knees before Yahweh. If you got to get the sackcloth out and the ashes or whatever truly walk out that repentance. Pray for the strength for him to give you, to bear the fruits worthy of repentance because we can't-do it without his strength we need him, we need to confess that. And so we reckon ourselves as dead but Yahushua alive in us. And just as Yahushua said he who sent me is with me, the father has not left me alone for I always do the things that please him. That's our father in heaven, sent Yahushua, Yahweh is with Yahushua his son and we are not alone either because it is written. All authority is being given to me in heaven and on earth, Matthew 28:18 go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age. And here we are brothers and sisters at the end of the age in my opinion and he is with us, lets seek
to teach all nations, to observe the things that were commanded, recognizing the need for us to lay down our own lives and put the Messiah on the throne of our hearts and every decision we make in our lives. And by that make the conscious choice to bear the fruits of genuine repentance and faith in Yahushua that leads to eternal life and this is our yearly reminder on the day of atonement of one of the many ways. Yahweh's feasts can be a blessing to us because we as humans were prone to forgetting and the feasts are yearly reminders of Yahweh's awesome works with the time of Passover. We partake of the communion, the body and blood of Messiah, we are partaking of the Passover lamb. Just as ancient Israel is told to take the lamb, slaughter it and eat the Passover lamb. We are partaking of the Passover lamb Yahushua HaMashiach, showing that he dwells in us with the bread representing the word and if you've ever eaten unleavened bread you know that it's kind of dry. Well and then the fruit of the vine representing the quenching of that thirst. When I read the word I realize I need redemption and therefore I have the fruit of the vine to cleanse that thirst for redemption that I have. And then I'm unleavened and so there are seven days of unleavened bread, seven days of unleavened bread represents seven thousand years were Yahushua's sacrifice will cause men to be unleavened. e are nearing the end of the six thousand year time period and this last one thousand year time period will be that time of rest for the body of Messiah who we rule and reign with him that seventh day, that seven thousandth year. So that last thousand years representing the time we will enter into rest from our enemies because Satan the devil will be bound and put in the bottom pit for a thousand years. And so we have rest from our enemies for a thousand years and so the seven days of unleavened bread representing the seven thousand years were we need Messiah's redemption and cleansing and after that, of course, it's gonna be the great judgment and things of that nature. But then you have Pentecost the time when he gave his word, the ten commandments was around this time of Pentecost. It's also the time when Yahweh chose Jerusalem,
it's also the time when he allowed Israel to take a king it was around this time of Pentecost. t's also the time when he gave the holy spirit Acts chapter 2 most of you know that. Well many events that took place around this time of Pentecost and there is this wait we are waiting now for this Messiah's return at the last trump and if you keep the counter like I do all of times you don't know whether we gonna see the moon that night. So no one knows the day or the hour. It's not visibly seen it that you know it's a new month likewise it's not until we see our savior as a light that shines from east to west that we know he has come. And so then you have the day of atonement which we spoke of in length here in today's broadcast. And then we have the feast of tabernacles for seven days we keep the feast of tabernacles and it's a temporary tabernacle. A temporary tabernacle to commemorate the time when Israel was a nation in the wilderness. They were a nation in the wilderness and they were, after they have been saved by the blood of lamb and they were baptized in the seed and the cloud just as we were saved by the blood of lamb, they were baptized in the name of Yahushua and delivered from the enemy and the old men were there drown in the river, in this case the dead sea. All Egypt was killed. And then there went into this time of the wilderness where they were allowed to hunger, they were allowed to thirst, they were taught Yahweh's law the same we are in the wilderness right now and we are being taught Yahweh's law. And we are in a temporary structure also this body we have, this body is a temporary dwelling place and those tents they were in were temporary dwelling places and they were looking to the future when they will go across the Jordan river. So are we, we are looking to the future when we will meet Yahushua in the air when we cross that Jordan river he will reign in that temple from Jerusalem and we will be his ambassadors. And then but we know that it wasn't Moses who led them cross the Jordan river, it was a man named Joshua. Joshua, as I shared with you earlier, has the same name as our savior Yahushua and so lesson was Moses can show you the way, right way to live but he can't take you across the Jordan you need a man named Yahushua to take across the Jordan because the law it can only show you the right way to live. It can't cleanse you of your sins. Yahushua can cleanse you of your sins and there we will reign with him and so seven days of the feast of tabernacles representing seven thousand years were man will have a temporary structure, temporary dwelling place the bodies that we have are all temporary. Seven thousand years of having a temporary dwelling place but then there is the last great day. The last great day, that eighth day of the feast is representing the time period after the throne judgment and in Revelation 21 and 22 this new Jerusalem comes out of heaven and it's just gonna be awesome, no more sin, no more death, no more crying, no none of that. And so all the feasts have important meanings for us very, very important meanings relevant to our time period today. Everything that Israel went through we personally go through as well. And we are in this holiday season, in this holiday season. I say let's soak up everything Yahweh wants us to learn from these feast days. ecause there is no comparison to the holidays of the world I mean I kept all those growing up. This is far, far, far more awesome because the holidays of Yahweh are the original and the best except no substitutes. Let's pray O, Father Yahweh your feasts are awesome. We just declare to you your awesome works there is nothing like it. They are so prophetic, they reveal so powerfully the inspiration of scripture. They reveal so powerfully your love for us, teach us, Father, everything you want us to learn from these festivals. Strengthen us where we are weak, empower us where we fail from time to time and then there's is these next. This next week or so Father teach us, reveal to us the areas where we Father Yahweh are not living up to your standards. And help us, Father, to turn away from the things that are not according to your word.
As a collective people, as Israel, as the body of Messiah Father reveal to us the areas that we need to change. And let it be Father as your word has said we can call boldly to the throne of grace and find mercy, and find grace to help. Father, we need grace to help and we need your mercy. And we long for your kingdom, we long for that time when Yahushua will dwell between in the earthly temple. Even as he reigns now from the heavenly temple, establish your kingdom, Father Yahweh. For truly yours is the kingdom, and power and glory and majesty and all praise, honor, and worship belongs to you, Yahweh Elohim, Yahweh our Mighty one, forever and ever, in Yahushua's great name we pray these things, Amein and HalleluYah.
sound of many waters: and the earth shone with his glory.
