Shalom ladies! It’s Melissa here to bring you the updates for our second women’s meeting!
This year, at Sukkot, we get the opportunity to gather together twice. Praise Yahweh!
For the 2nd meeting this year, we will be having a luncheon (finger foods). This meeting will be much more casual and we will be working on building relationships within our sisterhood, as well as continuing to build the relationships that we have
We ask that everyone bring a finger food to share, as this will also be a pot bless type of meal. Daughters of Light will provide the beverages (water, tea, and lemonade).
Sweet and Salty Gift exchange
For the gift exchange, we are asking that everyone bring a small/medium size gift bag that has something salty and something sweet inside it. Make sure that your bag is sealed/taped up so that it does not reveal the contents. It can be any two or 3 items (or more). Let’s get creative and see what we can come up with. This was so much fun last year!
Also, I want to add that if you can’t bring anything, please come anyways. The DOL (Daughters of Light) team has you covered! Everyone is welcome!
If you have a food allergy (gluten, nuts, etc.) please get in touch with me to let me know, so that we can ensure that no one is left out. Also, we will have a separate section for those gift bags, to ensure that there isn’t any cross exposure. Everyone in attendance will leave with a gift.
