About this Ministry

Welcome to EliYah Ministries

What we do

This ministry first established an online presence back in 1995 when I (Tom Martincic) wanted to provide a place for people to read more about the Hebrew Roots of our faith as I visited various chat rooms.

Today, this ministry has developed into more than I could ever imagined. We started weekly “chat room” Sabbath gatherings online in 1997, switched to audio broadcasting in 2004, then video broadcasting in 2010. We added a “New Moon Broadcast” to our live streaming options a few years later.

The study portion of any broadcast is available on DVD, without charge. A printed copy of any written article on this web site is also available, mailed to you at no cost.

Since 2007, we have hosted a yearly “Feast of Tabernacles” event in Missouri, now with 300-600 in attendance. We also provide resources to serve the body of Messiah such as a Fellowship Finder, sacred name audio bible (download or stream), a searchable Strong’s Lexicon, an online version of the Restored Name King James and The Scriptures bible translations, downloadable/printable tracts which can be mailed at no cost to you, and over 600 videos and written articles on a wide variety of biblical topics.

Our ministry is not a 501(c)3 ministry because we do not want the government to place limits on what we want to say. However, it otherwise functions as a non-profit because no one uses donated funds for personal gain. This ministry operates with accountability to three elders: Neil Bornhoft, Yahuseph Timmons, and Paul Lowery.

At a local level, this ministry operates from the Ava TrueView Family Theater in Ava, Missouri, where we host a weekly Sabbath gathering on Sabbath at 11:00 am, which is now part of the Shepherd’s Way Fellowship of Ava.

Who is the author of EliYah.com?

I mentioned that my name is Tom Martincic, but please understand that this web site is not about me. It’s about seeking the truth and finding it in Yahushua the Messiah. It’s about glorifying Yahweh and proclaiming His word. It’s about serving others and proclaiming the need to keep the commandments of Yahweh AND the faith of Yahushua the Messiah.

In 1995, I would frequent various Christian chat rooms under the screen name “EliYah” and share the truths that you see on this web site. In a desire to give them a place to learn more, I began creating this site. It was then known as “EliYah’s Home Page.” We started doing weekly chat room meetings in 1997 and it just grew from there.

I liked the name EliYah because it means “My Mighty One is Yahweh” and this is the message that I want to proclaim. I don’t claim to be a prophet. I’m just a disciple of Yahushua the Messiah who is looking for His pure, unadulterated truth.

I have never been, nor ever plan to be a part of any sect or denomination except the one true faith that Yahushua Himself will establish when He returns. This ministry is my personal effort to serve others and is not a part of any organization or affiliation with anyone else.

I am married with 4 children (all of whom are now adults) and as of 11/2013 I began full-time ministry work through this web site. However, donations given to the ministry stay with the ministry. We live off a separate fund.

For the record, I am not part of the ‘Christian Identity’ movement, ‘Militia/Patriot movement’ or any other similar movement. I believe it’s important to be law abiding citizens who seek to be at peace with all men, no matter what their racial background is. The kingdom I seek is not of this world, but is open to every man, woman and child on this planet who wants to receive the Messiah for the forgiveness of sins and endeavor to live as He did.

In the fall of 2021, we established the Shepherd’s Way Fellowship of Ava, a local congregation in Ava, Missouri. I am also the Executive Director of Bread of Life Giving and Sharing (see web site), a charity that provides food, clothing and other basic necessities for people in need. The charity owns and operates the True Brew Coffee Shop, the Ava TrueView Family Theater and Bread of Life Thrift and Grocery in downtown Ava.

I hope this answers everyone’s questions. Thanks for visiting EliYah.com. It is my hope and prayer that the contents here edify the body of Messiah, awaken the complacent, and change the heart of the unbeliever.

May Yahweh be Magnified! (Psalm 115:1)
